When The World Needs You - RP
Forum-Index → Roleplay → When The World Needs You - RPHe taps his chin thoughtfully. "Our best bet would be to attack at night, but that purple haired brat might be a problem. Perhaps we should stalk them and attack them when they are most weak? Peaky humans can't possibly survive on their own out here!" Aster gazes at Belphi with hopeful eyes. Give the demon some credit, this was probably his most put together plan he has created in centuries.
"Guerrilla warfare? I have no idea what that is, but it sounds like fun!" Aster says while jumping up and down excitedly. His eyes quite literally darken as a more primal instincts kicks in, but the feeling vanishes quickly when the sunlight harshly attacks his eyesight. He slaps a hand over his eyes and points towards where the explosion took place. "Why don't you sound more excited? This'll be fun!" Aster shouts while blindly taking a step in the wrong direction.
And to that she'd say... No. Absolutely not. First off, she would make sure you couldn't sleep well the rest of your life if you called her a witch, and two, what an odd stereotype...
Mei turned away momentarily when she began to hear whispers, whispers of the two- what, now three??? demons that were roaming around somewhere. They were apparently speaking about a plan, but... The shadows wouldn't tell her crap. The whispers only grew louder, but it only repeated one phrase, a phrase that held useless info. You're all gonna die~
Ah great... Wasn't it supposed to be on her side? What kind of sick joke was it trying to pull here? Mei mentally groaned, but acted as if nothing had happened. She continued to stare at the treacherous creature the boy seemed to bond with, making a mental reminder about this supposed plan. She had to be cautious from now on, but she wouldn't make the rest of the group worried about it either. She'll let her info slip when the time draws near.
They were in a clearing by the boy and his cat. She had just stepped out of the undergrowth, Cerberus at her side. He was looking... very interested at the prospect of cat.
She tapped her fingers along the edge of her bow. It wasn't meant to be threatening; just an idle habit she had picked up. She tore her eyes from the boy to shoot another glance at Mei. She was concerned about the a-mortal woman... she seemed more distressed than usual.
Annoying voices inside one's head... with a start, Cath realized it had been some time since she had a negative thought.
But now she had to respond to the boy. "We are but a band of adventurers," She said vaguely. Cath didn't want to reveal the real names of any of her companions just yet, hence the reversion to Mei's fake name. Her safest bet was to rephrase the earlier question. "What are you doing here with nothing but a... cat?"
Also, it seems I have yoinked Cerberus for the time being...

"I apologize for the lack of information I can give you, but until you prove you aren't hostile, or worse, a demon, there's not much else I can tell you right now."
He seemed innocent enough. But then again so did Mei. What a wonderful comparison.

Shut the hell up, no one cares about your little jokes or unnecessary comments.
Is it really that hard to close that big mouth of yours?
Was she being mean?
In response to Sobble: "It's not my decision... I'll need to discuss this with the rest of them. Besides, you still haven't supplied any real evidence to prove that you aren't a demon in disguise. And that... cat... I'm even less convinced that it... isn't a demon either."

"I have a genetics test to ensure that he is who he says he is... if you all agree that he would be a useful companion. he is young, and we do not know his allegiances." She was not at all sure why the group looked to her for... leadership(?), but the Professor would play the role if needed.
Cath opened her meticulously packed satchel, and took out two needles, and a few vials. Two of them were filled with the dull colors of chemicals, another contained a light grey powder, and two were empty. She raised them, showing them to her companions.
"Blood goes into the first vial, and I add the base pair indicator. Then, Iron-dichloride and hypo-geneticine are swirled in using the Kaurian method. If the vial turns green, he is human, and has no demon blood. I'll do the same for the cat, but it should turn a brownish orange for feline blood." More science. She waited for their opinions.

Was that... It was. Neo had pulled out a pack of cigarettes. How many times had she told him that he would die by smoking as sure as he would die by demons? She wrinkled her nose. On top of it all, she hated the smell. "And stop with the effing cigarettes, you are not continuing with that disgusting habit now that Abyss is out of your brain."
She tried to smack it out of his hand, but missed.
Cath nodded at Athena. "Alright."
She quickly drew blood from both creatures (the cat wriggled slightly) and deposited it into the vials. She skillfully mixed the chemicals, and waited for the resulting solutions to change.
The boy's? Green. He was human.
The cat's? White. Inconclusive...
