Kingdom of Aeraya
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Kingdom of AerayaThey slowly approached Noah, the bells attached to their hat jingling (very scarily) with every heavy step "ye wanna help me get a fresh tart? Or else a' get with mine revenge" With that said they put their glitter-filled hand above Noah's head to really raise the stakes, trying to look at him very intimidatingly although it's evident they're trying to hold in a stifled laugh "Capiche?"
Cooper continued mopping. He went along the hall to start on cleaning the mess Noah had made. This was Noah's doing, wasn't it. He thought.
Deep breath in, deep breath out. Well, more like violent bull-like breathing but hey, Elliot was at least trying to get his temper under control as he stood there in the hallway, sopping wet. As he contemplated the benefits of fratricide, a servant dutifully moped up the water pooling around him and he let out a sigh. "Thank you." He gritted out to Cooper before storming off to both dry off and maybe pick up a sword along the way. He was still thinking over that fratricide thing.
One quick change of clothes later and his rage invigorated, Elliot stormed down the hallways in search of his prankster of an older brother. "NOAH!" he bellowed, his voice echoing around the royal abode as an ebony sword sheath rested by his hip.
Her face lit up. "Oh, yes!" She laughed, her dress doing a majestic swirl as she turned towards the direction of the noise. For some reason, she always loved watching her brothers fight, whether it be over the throne or some small, petty thing, like one using the other's fork. Perhaps it was silly of her, but she always made sure that wherever they were arguing, she was 'accidentally' around the corner, listening to every word. She started towards them, her navy blue dress trailing behind her.
Thea almost jumps up as a door sounds through the little home. "Dad!" she yells, running in to catch him in the entrance.
"Woah, can't a man enter his own house anymore?" he laughs, putting his hat on a nearby shelf. "Are you really that excited?"
Thea can't help but roll her eyes: "Well, of course! There's so much more... happening there." Thea almost catches herself saying that it's 'not boring' but chooses to withhold that information. Probably the safest.
"Would you stop staring?" Scarlet asks, turning her head slightly to regard him with a scolding look.
"Apologies ma'am" Ace turns away, mentally kicking himself. He hopes to whatever God was out there that she wouldn't mistake his staring for something else. "Why are we heading towards the Ring's chambers anyway? Shouldn't we inform the knights?" Ace asks.
"They are outlaws, they can wait" Scarlet responds coldly. "Besides... I'm not going to talk to them looking and smelling like this. Have some pride Ace, we'll need their respect one day" Scarlet adds, her tone ominous to any passerby who would happen to hear.
Out of the corner of his eye, Elliot could see Noah's mad dash out towards the town and he felt a blood vessel pop as he clambered up onto one of the many windows. "You can run but you can't hide forever!" He roared, one foot on the sill as he prepared to leap out the window, uncaring if the whole kingdom could hear him. He would throttle is irresponsible brother if it was the last thing he did
Noah was spared from an untimely death when the Mirror Ghoul finally found the fuming prince, the strobing orb floating lazily by his head. 'Summoner Magus Tirik Eon requests to speak with you, Mighty Prince Elliot Sapphirus.' the magical summon hummed as Elliot huffed stepped back onto the ground. "Very well, I'm listening." He replied sullenly as he smoothed down ruffled clothing.
Elliot's loud outburst in the morning heralded the begining of Kanata's workday as he chuckled. The two princes were as lively as ever and while the two boys had a lot of growing up to do, he was confident that both of them would become great men when they finally did grow up. As the priest finally opened up the doors to the chapel, Kanata welcomed in the first crowd of people who had come to seek mundane advice from him today.
