Esmerelda
A pair of green eyes scanned the crowd as Esmerelda pushed through, leaving a parting in her wake. She had watched the general take away her sister, for whom she was rather worried, having not heard a word of their conversation. Of course, she would have, and should have, departed with the duo, but she felt that she needed a little more time outside, with the people of her kingdom. Having reached the outskirts of the now disappearing crowd, she let out a small sigh, her eyes closing as she noticed the smells and noises of the town. Perhaps she should start spending more time down here.

Again flicking open her eyelids, she set off at a slow pace in whichever direction her legs demanded they go. Being a princess, her face was extremely recognisable, which became obvious as several townsfolk waved and smiled at her, though some scorned her with an evil glare. She waved back, handing out free grins to the villagers. The sight was fairly odd, to say the least. A princess should not have been parading around on her own outside the castle, and she very well knew that, but there were several guards dotted around, so she'd be fine - she thought. (dun dun duuuuuun)

[bump]

Joy sighed and tried to recall what happened before she fainted. "Where's my father? Is he safe? What about Elliot,Noah and Esmeralda?" The tone of her voice becoming more and more worried as she kept asking questions. She finally got up and sat on the bed. "Judging from the daylight,I wasn't out for a long time." she added, looking out from a window.

"Your family is perfectly safe, your Highness. Elliot is in the library, your father is in the throne room, and your sister..come to think of it, I don't think she knows yet. I'll have to send someone to escort her back. But everyone else is alright. You're suffering from sunstroke, I believe. You need your rest."

Joy sighed "That's a relief." She didn't ask about her mother since she would probably be tending her garden or remain by father's side. "I'm terribly sorry for making you carry me all the way here while there's a emergency, didn't mean to become such a nuisance. I owe you one,General." she smiled. "You really mustn't worry about me,I'll probably stay here and rest for a bit. I'm sure you're needed elsewhere, setting up the necessary guard to protect the Kingdom. And looking after Philip." she chuckled. Even though Philip and Joy didn't interact a lot it was quite obvious he could behave in a childlike manner at a moment's notice. Joy figured Esmeralda would go visit a friend she often talked about, but she was still worried nonetheless. "Esmeralda's probably still taking a stroll,I'm sure the nearby guards are making sure she's fine."

As soon as Noah put the stack of papers onto his desk, he heard a knock at the door. He shook his head and put a smile on his face. He walked over to the door and opened it. "Hi." He said, noticing it was his brother. "What brings you here?" He added.

Kalinda was amazed at what was unfolding around her. She followed her teacher onto the cobblestone path so she wouldn't be lost in this strange area.

Cooper went back to the garden. He grabbed supplies from the garden shed and began his gardening.

Releasing his nerves in one breath, Elliot rubbed the back of his head, looking at anywhere except for his brother. "Just erm... I wanted to apologize." He gestured a little abortedly at the stack of paperwork that he could see within Noah's room. "I gave you all that in a fit of anger, and I probably shouldn't have done that, given that it is quite a lot. So I guess I'm here to help out. Or something." Snapping his mouth shut before he embarrassed himself any further, he could feel his face flushing with shame at the poor delivery of intent. For all his airs of being perfect and reliable, Elliot was truthfully still horrendously awful at dealing with any emotion that wasn't all consuming rage or sly teasing.

"awkward" Ava, still lying on the bed, started whispering again to Tabby but with no effort to be discreet about it. Although the air is pretty tense and uncomfortable they thought it'd be worth watching the brothers finally Bond. Or try to, at least.

Feliciano smiled at his brother. "Yessir Yessir, we are going to be so good at this" He turned back to Kanata, rocking back and forth a bit. He placed a hand on his cheek and tilted his head to the side a little "We are still set on being your apprentices, if you will. So what's it, weatherboy?"

"Well, if you're alright, I trust you can make your way back on your own. I'll be taking my leave now." Regina helped Joy off of the horse. "And it is my job to protect you and your family, I couldn't just leave you in the streets, now could I?" Regina was eager to make this encounter brief, and simply raised a hand and mounted her horse. "Goodbye, your Majesty." She trotted off. She had successfully made another encounter with someone short and emotionless. Now...time to start looking into those two men. Because if there was one thing Regina knew, it was that she would protect the Kingdom of Aeraya with her life. And Regina..didn't like troublemakers.

Joy nodded, dismissing Regina. She quickly took off, jogging inside the castle trying to spot her father and,if she was lucky enough, her mother as well. After a while she noticed Elliot, standing in front of Noah's room, conversing with him. She was reluctant to talk to them seeing as they were probably talking about something serious given Noah's expression which could be somewhat recognisable from a distance. Instead, she opted to walk towards their directions since she would both cover ground searching for her parents and maybe talk with her brothers, possibly informing them about the peril they're in and also asking about their parents' whereabouts. If they didn't pay attention to her she would just continue searching.

Noah shook his head. "No need to lie to me. It's okay." He said with a smile, not picking up on Elliot's tone correctly. "I can do the work. There's no issue." He added, slowly walking over to the desk to read the work over. He was a quick thinker, and he remembered what he learned from what few lessons he hadn't skipped. If he had to, he would go to the library briefly.

Cooper continued gardening. A rare smile appeared on his face. Good job Cooper!

Left sputtering almost indigently, Elliot's face would have been hilarious if not for the brief flicker of hurt. Elliot was many unpleasant things. A stuck up stick in the mud, arrogant, hot-headed, and that was only scratching the surface. But among the various labels Elliot held, a liar was not one of them. In fact, he sort of prided himself on his honesty, even if it could be blunt and unpleasant at times. "I don't care if you don't need my aid." He said lowly, eyes downcast as his hands shook by his side. "But when have you ever known me to tell a lie?" The familiar burn of white-hot anger licked across his skin but he clenched his hands together tightly, both to quell the rage and to settle the traitorous trembling. Getting angry won't solve anything, he reminded himself almost desperately, shoving the unpleasant emotion down

"Elliot!" His body language was enough proof for her to step in. "What's all the fuss about?" she said as she walked closer. It took her a moment to notice that she was at Noah's quarters, she had lost her sense of direction from all that walking around the place. "Are you two falling out...again? Now's not the time,I assume you are aware of the threat." she hadn't noticed the person inside Noah's room either. "We need to remain calm and stick together." she said panting.

[forgot to possssst]

Wind blows towards Dallas's face, causing her hair and pieces of freed fabric from her cloak to whip around behind her. Her icy blue eyes narrow slightly as they search for movement. The streets on this part of the kingdom were empty. It seemed as if everyone was either working or gathering up in the middle of town. They were faint- but Dallas heard some voices. She ignored them, she was sure that whatever was going on over there was under control. How boring... She lifts her gas mask up slightly and inhales a breath of fresh air. She had rather... Creative ways to fight and/or kill. She preferred poison, she even had a nickname for herself for that very reason: The Viper. It was unheard of, but maybe one day that name would bring fear to her enemies... She licks her canines, which are longer than normal for creepy bad guy purposes. She tastes the faintest taint of blood. The taint becomes much more noticeable as blood slowly pools in her mouth. The taste makes her giggle. She was having a bad reaction to her latest poison, not a surprise, she usually had a bad reaction when she switched... In order to work with poison, you must be immune to it, so that's exactly what she is trying to do. She slowly poisons herself to make her body use to it. She thinks that it's working.
Movement! She heard movement, directly below her. She carelessly leaps from the tiny building she was standing on, landing slightly too hard. She winces slightly from the pain that hits her ankles. At least nothing is broken. She turns her head slightly, the sound of movement was behind her now... Ambush!? She quickly turns her whole body around, almost karate chopping a stray cat, who was digging through a trashcan. The cat lifts it's head and hisses at her before running away. Dallas shakes her head and laughs. "The poison is working!" She says between a fit of laughter. "My senses are strong! Almost better than a cats!" She places her hands on her knees, desperately trying to fight the fit of insane laughter and catch her breath

A small silver coin flew from the air, landing in the dirt beside Dallas. A small, cocky voice spoke up. "You alright? You should go get yourself cleaned up, 'fore all that blood causes an infection. There's a hospital just east- that's this way-" The small red and purple imp pointed down the road. "-down the road. You want me to help you up?" The imp was carrying a letter with a wax seal on it, and an address printed in elegant handwriting. "Well, come on then, miss. Let's get you a little help 'fore you gitchure self hurt. Also, you missed that cat, even with the element of surprise! Tell me your name isn't curiosity, cuz curiosity killed the cat and you sure didn't!" The little imp giggled to itself, a quick succession of squeaks, followed by a sort of snort.

The five stages of greif seem to cross over Dallas's face in quick succession as she listens to the imp speak. She takes a deep breath and smiles, a drop of blood falling down her chin as she lowers herself down to her knees so that she can get a better look at the imp. "Such bold words for a tiny creature" she purrs as her eyes drift away from the creature and lands on her nails, which she examines with a bored expression. "I don't need a hospital, I'm immune to any danger by the way" her prideful tone has a small hint of offense in it, she obviously took the imp's words to heart. She fails to discreetly wipe away the blood on her chin. "What about you? I could crush you like a bug" she growls as she returns her gaze back to the imp. "In fact, what's stopping me?"

The imp seemed suddenly vulnerable when she said that, the creature's eyes popping open. "Oh, uh.. Er, I'll tell you what, the order of Royal Mage Tirik Aon! He ordered me to deliver this letter of utmost importance, he did! And ain't nothin gonna stop me, miss! Nuh-uh, nothin! In fact, I'd uh, better get going, this letter needs to be delivered quickly!" The imp turned and made to run, flapping a set of small wings.

"The Royal Mage-?" She pauses fighting to remember what a mage was, and who Tirik, one of the most well known people in the kingdom was. "I'm not afraid of him!" She tries to smack the imp as if it were a fly, but she misses and almost falls forward into her face. She braes herself on a nearby wall and watches the imp fly away in a fit of rage. The poison was making her slow when it usually made her fast, what was up with her today? She sighs and leans against the wall, taking a moment to calm down and allow this "slow feeling" to pass by.

The imp glanced backwards, then started giggling again. Wavering slightly in it's flight path, it turned backwards a blew a raspberry. Then promptly collided with a bird and nearly fell to the ground again. Righting itself, the imp was suddenly very somber with it's voice.

Dallas' instincts scream at her to attack the imp while it's down, but her muscles won't cooperate. At least she can still laugh at the creature. Me: 1, Imp: ...1 she sighs again and leans her head against the wall, grimacing from a sudden headache. Again... What is up with me today? She jumps in surprise to hear footsteps approaching her, luckily for the one sneaking up on her, it's a member of the Ring.
"Maddam Dallas?" The boy asks, his voice shaky.
"What?" Dallas snaps. She doesn't look at the boy, instead she pinches the bridge of her nose in frustration.
"Are you okay-?"
"What!?" Dallas asks again.
"We haven't found anything, should we head back and think of a new plan? Maybe we can ask Scarlet for a better plan?" Dallas drops her hand and turns to glare at the boy, which makes him jump back in fear.
"We can do this without her help! Don't you get it? I want to find this person! I want to impress her!" She storms towards the boy, who doesn't try to run, but instead cowers in fear. "We will find this mysterious person on my watch! Got it!?" She asks. The boy gulps and nods. When she doesn't say anything else he turns around and runs away, leaving her stranded in the alleyway.

Regina gritted her teeth in frustration. Why couldn't she figure out where those two brothers came from? She had asked a ton of people, and they could only tell her about the songs they heard them sing. Aeraya wasn't a horribly large kingdom, but then again, it wasn't small either. They could be anywhere! She sighed, stopped, and rubbed her head. She was spending much time focusing on this. It was starting to give her a headache. She told one of the guards to pass on the word to keep an eye out for those men and decided a full patrol of the guards stationed was in order. She was really tired, but Regina didn't care. She just wanted to make sure that everything was perfect. That was how she kept the balance of all those suppressed emotions inside, by keeping the world around her balanced. She mounted her horse. Brazen had always been able to tell when she was upset or hurting, and he looked up at her with a snort. "I'm quite alright, Brazen. Now, let's go before dark sets in." She set off, though a figure in an alleyway caught her eye. Hm....she would make note of that. Still, she continued on.
