Current Time: Approaching Twilight
All characters may speak during the day. They may also choose to condemn a character to the Extermination Room.
Alice shook her head. "You guys are so slow. I knew not giving Paiyoon immortality was a bad idea," She said nonchalantly. "Well, please hurry up and vote someone or I'll unleash the almighty Legion of Alice that I built last night. Or vote no one, I don't really care."
Suko Nobu
Gore warning. Please don't read if you are sensitive to violence, body horror, and/or cannibalism. Thanks! :D
"Where are we...?" Suko wondered as they sat up. The whole world was shrinking and growing. They watched, hypnotized as a mushroom slithered along their ankle, elongating and twisting to meet them eye for eye.
Eat me. It hissed.
"Agh!" Suko yelped, terror jolting through them. They stumbled backwards, fighting to get away- the mushroom clung on.
YOU FAILED ME! YOU KILLED ME! MY BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS! MY FLESH IS IN YOUR TEETH!
Their hands dripped with red. Each droplet slid down their wrist, then fell in a nice little pitter patter on the ground. One drop. Another.
Something in my teeth...
There was something caught in their throat. They hacked and hacked, keeling over on the grass, gasping for air- in between coughs, they noticed mushrooms popping up around each drop of blood- each one became a mushroom, twisting into a red elongated umbrella shape-
Something caught by their tongue. They thrust their hand in their mouth and dragged it out, flinging it on the grass-
It was the half-digested remains of an eye. The bloodied pink iris watched them writhe on the ground, the connecting tendrils raisimg it upwards, staring down at him, accusingly-
Femi, they tried to wheeze. I'm sorry! I'm sorry! But they couldn't reach.
And as the mushrooms grew closer, they realised who the voice belonged to.
Just a replacement for you. You never wanted me.
NO- They tried to scream, but they could only watch as the mushrooms popped up beneath their nose, and the tendrils crept closer to their eye sockets. Their lids were peeled back. They stared at death and thought a prayer-
Gore warning ended.
Suko woke up gasping for air. They whipped back and forth- looking for the eyes for the mushrooms. A wave of nausea pierced their stomach and they fell back, squeezing their eyes shut.
Just a nightmare.
It was all just a nightmare.
No one was dead. They hadn't killed or hurt anyone. Their hands were clean.
"My hands are clean," they whimpered under their breath. "No one wants my eyes-" A broken sob escaped their throat and they curled up in a fetal position on the ground.
They would block the whole world out if they had to.
Because they had to-
So far, not a single soul had felt quite suspicious of him which felt odd. There had to be someone... a single person... anyone who could give Tetsuo enough motivation to write down. He looked at his past recordings from the day before and skimmed through them to check the progress he recorded. Perhaps he could find something...
The game needs to go on, I need to vote... But who do I vote for? She thought.
Kotone, you dummy. You know who you need to vote for. The only way to keep the plot going is to vote for yourself you dummyyyyy... Her internal voice said.
But who knows if it works? Kotone thought back to her inner voice that made the most
Baka, just do it. I don't care if you are a conflicted person with no decision-making skills, just do it for the sake of posts and to make sure that your legal owner won't waste all of their McNuggets to bribe people to 'action'. The voice said back.
Confused at that last part, Kotone was just about to ask her inner self what it meant, but fearing another confusing argument with the internal debator, she just gave in and wrote on her paper:
Kotone Miyashita
There. Happy now? She thought, and waited very patiently for the internal voice to respond with a passive-aggressive insult.

Paiyoon Ji - Ghost Post
Big L
Burrying her head in her ghostly hands, Paiyoon cringed. It seemed she was the only person who had playing with strategy. Period. This absolute bullcrap that Kotone was sporting about voting herself was failing. Half of the group just jumped on the vote out of laziness, and the other half can't be bothered to do anything about it. Pathetic.
.
Still, she wondered. Someone had been intelligent enough to kill her. She hoped it was Kotone, and the girl's second big-brain move was coming back to bite her in the @$$.
.
Suko was shivering on the floor. They were truly alone now. No Femi to hide behind. No Paiyoon to hold them.
.
Paiyoon had put the pieces together though. It had taken her long enough. She was so, so, stupid. Of course Suko didn't like like her. She was just a replacement for Femi. Paiyoon should have gone with her initial inclinations. She wasn't worth it anyway.
.
Besides, it wasn't like she had felt anything for Suko.
.
.
.
Liar.
.
.
.
Paiyoon finally allowed herself to feel. The rushing, tumbling torrent of her emotions was intense. Guilt, shame, annoyance, anger, fury, hurt, sadness. She felt guilty that she had even imagined a future with Suko, shoved down within the margins of her mind. She was ashamed that she had been made a fool of, ashamed for thinking herself worth loving. She was angry at Suko for being so damn oblivious. She was furious at herself too. She was hurt that Suko didn't think enough of her to even answer a single one of her stupid questions. She felt sadness, a longing for a future that had never been a possibility.
.
Paiyoon also felt physical pain. It didn't matter that she was just a spectral viewer, her whole body hurt ached. Her head was pounding, a dull throbbing that threatened to blind her. She stared at the cracked tiles Alice's tea set rested on, a spiderweb of destruction that mirrored the splinters of her heart. She was suddenly dizzy and nauseous, everything catching up to her at once.
.
But most of all, she felt lonely. For the first time in her life, Paiyoon felt truly alone. Arthan and Ess had followed the Path of the Suns, and lived in an afterworld far from here. Her friends and family remained in Aeloria, likely in control of a few dozen more business empires by now. Even Artemis was being pulled by his own manifestations of the machinations of fate.
.
Hot tears slid down her face; she hadn't even realized she was crying. But even the master strategist, the revered veteran, the displaced goblin was allowed a moment of weakness. Within the saftey of the shadows of The Game, she could cry as long as she wanted. Paiyoon caught a single tear on her finger tip, staring at the silvery form. It was no longer the dark green of her goblin form, or even the salty transparant tear of a human. This was... something different.
.
In that moment, Paiyoon knew she would be okay. Because she was something different. More than human, more than a goblin, not quite a ghost or specter. In time, this pain would fade. There was a future where it didn't hurt so much.
.
.
.
Eventually. As for now, it hurt like hell.
.
.
.
After a while, she looked at Suko again. Paiyoon didn't know if it was minutes, or hours, or even years that she had been drifting, and Suko had been dreaming. And it was with a startling clarity that she saw something new. They were a great being. But they weren't the being meant for her. Yes, Suko was attractive and outgoing, lighting up each room they were in. Yes, Suko had the capacity to feel, to express emotions, even if they couldn't process them. Paiyoon could see it all.
.
But she knew that they weren't right for her.
.
.
.
Well. If she logically knew that, why didn't the pain stop?

My current RP work:
Are people already giving up now? Tetsuo didn't want to vote her out. There could be a way to fix this, a way to make this all work out, he didn't have to vote for her... right?
Fidgeting nervously, Tetsuo sighed deeply and leaned his head back. He would need some time to think.
Femi Davis [GHOST]
He crossed his arms, heaving in and out. No hard feelings. Just.... Try to be friendly.
"H-Hey..."
Great. Great starter, genius.
Wait, we're... Supposed to be enemies, aren't we? Ah, screw it.
When you were dead, nothing mattered. None of that mattered.
"You and.... Suko, huh?" He trailed off. A sad, pathetic smile upon his face.
"We... Barely started d-dating. Suko... And I. Before I... Died. And I..."
He sighed.
They lied.
"I thought... I thought that they... Lured me off and killed me. With a note."
He breathed heavily. "But, when I think about it... I- I don't think... They were the one who did it."
...
"At least, I... Want to hope not. Forgive me for sounding, pssh, stupid and... Dramatic and all that but..."
An ever sadder gloom descended upon his face. "They were... The first person who made me feel like I was... W-Worthy of something. I don't know if they... Genuinely loved me or not but..."
You're both. I love you both as a toy, and as Femi.
"But... They meant a lot to me." He lowered his head, gritting his teeth. "I'm... So sorry. About what happened to you. I- and... I'm sorry if... Mine... And... S-Suko's... History made... Things awkward."
He inhaled and exhaled. "And... If you were... Were happy with them... I think I might eventually have been able to bear that."
He choked back a sob. "I just... Hate seeing them... Like this."
Am I selfish, Suko?
...
I wanted to be more than just your toy. Boyfriend, friend, lover, soul-mate.
...
Talking about animals and... Guns and snakes and ladders and... The arguments they had. Suko saving his life and Femi not knowing if he even deserved it. And the party... It all seemed to blur together.
Their time together had been so brief, but Femi would cherish it always.
And his mind would always be a swarm of questions...
If he truly knew them or not.
And he remembered, the look on Kowai's face. ...her... Comment. And his eyes widened.
How could I have been so foolish? They... They didn't do it.
...
Kowai Kurai tore us apart...
Femi wanted to break down crying.
"...I never got to help everyone," he murmured. "I- I never got to fix anything. I thought... Things might finally be okay, and then..."
I was a fool. A selfish, selfish fool. Maybe I didn't deserve to get to know you, Suko.
...
But... I still can't help but feel uncertain about you.
"I'm glad... They had you. I-In the short time... That they did."
He winced.
"I never thought I'd get to live again... E-Even for such a short period of time. I thought... That was just it. That was the end... But my biggest regret? I never... I never got to graduate. And help my family."
He laughed nervously.
"I was... Such a fool. Falling for that letter, telling me to head to the school... And I died for it. I thought I'd get to help my family, maybe make some friends, and I-"
He stopped. "Sorry. Why am I even doing all this dramatic lore-dumping? This is a Mafia RP. Seriously, I better go complain to Dorky about this."
Did these idiots not understand what keeping a low profile mean't? The more you stand out the more likely that their ending is not going to turn well. The best examples were Miss Paiyoon, who is dead, and Kotone, who was about to be voted out with no chance to live.
How pitiful. Yohan sighs.

So this was Femi. And he was perfect for Suko. Where Suko was bold, Femi was cautious. Where Suko was impulsive, Femi was introspective. Where Suko was confident, all sharp corners and angles, Femi was nervous, appearing almost gentler.
.
Paiyoon didn't know if that made her feel better or worse. But she couldn't ignore him. Not after everything he said.
.
"H-hey. Take a deeeep breath." And why was it that she was always calmer when someone else was freaking out? Paiyoon idly wondered if enough behaviors like that could get her classified as a sociopath. Or at least a parasite. Something to look into, perhaps.
.
"So you're Femi," She said, looking the ghost over with interest. "I am indeed Paiyoon. I... I wish that I could say that I've heard much about you, but Suko was... reluctant to share. I take it that's in character for them?"
.
Paiyoon paused, and continued.
.
"This is probably the wrong thing to say, but strictly speaking, you're not dead. You're part of The Game. The fates have brought you here because they find it amusing to control your soul. You can look at it two ways: either they decided that you deserved another chance because you died too soon, or, less optimistically, they're f*cking with us. Either way, if the fates allow, you may come back. I've played three rounds of The Game, Suko has played two. You may both live another round."
.
"But other than that, let me clarify. Suko loves you. Not me, you. It... took me some time to realize that. I- I don't think we could ever be happy long term. We would graduate from each other, so to speak. And because I never met you within The Game, I couldn't talk to you. Don't get me wrong, it f*ucking hurts like hell. But I can't blame you for existing."
.
.
"Blame is an interesting thing. From the little I know, you both blame yourself for everything, hmm? Suko blames themself for your death. Well, both of your deaths now. And y-you blame yourself for... everything. So, like, stop that, silly."
.
It was impossible to hate Femi. As long as she kept her eyes from traitorously glancing back down as Suko.
.
"You'll get another chance soon, fates be willing. And when you do see Suko again, you'll confess your undying love, and they'll do the same. You are so obviously meant to be. And I'm- I'm okay with that."
.
"I... really am okay with that." She nodded. To her surprise, it was true.
.
.
.
This hurt would pass. Paiyoon could get through anything. She always had. And maybe, she would be able to ignore the romantic feelings for a little longer next time. She was one for one on heartbreak. What wonderful odds.

Alice
Current Time: Night
No characters may speak at night. Night will end once all characters complete their night actions.
Alice sighed.
"It's taking awfully long this time...Perhaps I shall show you all a taste of the great Legion of Alice. Anyways, I still can't get out of Elysium yet and I'm suuuuper bored," She paused for a moment.
"Well, anyways, Kotone Miyashita, the Noppera-bō, will be condemned to the Extermination Chamber today. I have...something exciting planned for tomorrow. By the way, Kotone's death means that the Yōkai no longer possess a majority, unless the Ghost Author decides to side with them. Good luck, and I hope you die!"
Alice
Current Time: Day
All characters may speak during the day. They may also choose to condemn a character to the Extermination Room.
Current Event: Necronomicon
Dead characters may interact with the living again, and cast votes. The requirement for majority is unchanged (at 4 votes).
"Hmm...an interesting choice. Tetsuo Matsushima, the Ghost Author, was killed by the Yōkai last night." She took out a piece of paper. "Here's his will that I picked off his dead...uh, spectral body, I guess."
Goreon was alive?
Goreon eyed the other people with a glare
She was just trying to vote out someone suspicious
Instead she sat down and pulled out her portable game
The screen lighted up with a faint glow and the words Floppy Penguin come out on the small screen
At least her game worked.
