The pokemon that had entered the school...they were now squaring up
against the three teachers as well as the headmaster. It was
currently a standoff...without any words. The glares between the
pokemon were intense at any rate
Xatina was broken from her frustrated walk when she heard the
sounds of Pokemon entering the school. Immeadiently the questions
about the explosion were shoved down, and she knew that she had to
investigate this. The tension was clear as she slipped in and saw
the standoff. Xatina moved through the crowd trying to get closer.
Who were these pokemon, and what were they doing here? Should she
step in? Xatina moved to the front of the crowd while hesitating as
to what to do.
Fortem watched the pokemon carefully, trying to make out what
species they might be, as well as remembering what they were
wearing. These pokemon might be important to remember as friends or
foes (more likely the latter, he thought, based on the glares) and
he wanted to keep and eye on them.
Sure enough. The tension soon snapped upon the two group breaking
out in a fight. This fight particularly was dangerous, with the
four faculty members flinging magic spells at the group. However,
the group seem to be firing back with their own unique
attacks...darkness...
Xatina was shocked when the fight broke out. She started to step
forward to help when a thought passed through her mind-This was
magic. Xatina hardly had to deal with magic, so it was as foreign
to her as it was to anyone else. Xatina glanced at the other
students in the crowd. Should she try to protect them? Xatina was
starting to panic, she'd never felt this helpless before..
After finding a safe place for Emerald, Audax sensed the commotion
happening at the school. Maybe he'd heard something or sensed
magic, or both; he wasn't actually too sure, but he bounded into
the fray.
Fortem was relieved to have a more familliar face here at the
battle, especially one who was versed in magic.
“All students, stay back! Do not move a step closer!” The
Headmaster called as he held a staff.
A purple circle appeared around the group that was trying to attack
them. There was a moment of gravity as a force dragged the group
inwards...before purple meteors rained down on them.
The arena was in chaos. It would be best to escape at the moment...
Fortem and Audax could only watch, though Audax was looking for an
opportunity to help out in some way. Fortem decided to leave. It
wouldn't be good to put himself in more danger than was needed...
still, he felt a little guilty about it.
Xatina backed away, trying to decide if she was awed by the
display, or terrified by the chaos. As the fighting continued,
Xatina's debate ended. No matter how amazingly powerful this was,
she needed to get away. Fast. With adrenaline, fear, and speed in
general on her side, she hurried out of the way, stopping at the
doors for a minute. A voice in her head accused her, calling her a
coward for running. She had to admit that the voice had a point but
now was not the time. She tried to catch her breath as she watched.
While Atlas had managed to di heavy damage...even then that wasn’t
enough.
He whispered something to Thea who pulled Audax and Fortem with
her
“Miss Knight, I’d like you to come with me as well.” She saw a
Vulpix as well, Winter. “You too! This is urgent! To Sleipnir
Park!”
From the camp...there was a resounding boom..,
Yung looked up. “Mordred...we have to go back.”
The creature's ears pricked. "Sorry what?" He hadn't been paying
attention, only to hear an urgent voice calling to him. Sleipnir
Park...? Alright...He changed his direction to follow
Yung looked at her. “I don’t know if you heard that...but there was
an explosion in Luminia.”
The Umbreon guided everyone to Sleipnir Park. “I think I have a
guess as to what the source...of the explosion could be. The
crystals laid around the plaza gave me a clue as to what it can be
Fortem and Audax followed Thea. Audax was glad to be with his
mentor again. They arrived at the park, and they listened to what
the umbreon had to say. "So what do you think?" Audax asked. He was
pretty baffled by the shards he'd picked up.
Xatina was startled from her panicked stupor when she heard someone
talking to her at least, she thought. She tried to find the source
of the voice, saying, "Er-me? Why?" She wasn't sure why she was
needed, and a knight of higher standard giving her new orders
probably wouldn't call her, "Miss Knight." Hesitantly, she decided
to follow anyway, if anything to figure out what happened. She
looked down at the ground, seeing the crystals littered evreywhere.
This was strange, indeed.
Winter breathed as he looked around at the park. He was pretty sure
he already knew about the crystals...unless this Umbreon knew about
who had possibly caused it. Winter had noticed she carried a
similar scent to the Shaymin from before...maybe the two were in on
something?
“We go up right now...and check. My son is up there at the moment.”
He grimaced as he walked up to the portal
“Those crystals...I hazard a guess that they are located here.
There’s a reason why the park had more of an affinity in terms of
mana. They came from here. They’re mana crystals.” Thea closed her
eyes. “Why weren’t they ever seen on the surface? It’s because
they’re buried. Perhaps it was for the best, you’ve seen the
results of one exploding.”
