"I'm Fortem," He introduced himself, observing the two pokemon. They seemed good enough. He supposed learning to analyze others through knight training was paying off after all. He didn't see the need to introduce himself further, his garb should tell everyone that he was a knight. He looked back at Emerald, concerned.

Margo nodded at the knight Fortem. "Emerald is a very good Pokémon. When the blast went off, he protected me and Leo, and took the full brunt of the explosion. Some other Umbreon tried to take him, but I don't trust anybody at the moment. Who knows who set off that explosion. it could have been anybody. He seems alright, except for a few cuts and bruises." The shiny umbreon sighed softly, and pulled her last heaven berry out of her pouch. She popped it in Emeralds mouth, and stroked his throat to make him swallow. Then she used moonlight on him, draining almost all of her own remaining energy. She sunk to the pavement as her knees gave way, though she was still conscious. Margo gave a relived sigh when Emerald stirred a bit.

“Nrgh... Fortem...?” Emerald winced and sat up to look at the face if his best friend right there and there, he winced as he put a paw on his head

Professor Thea walked into the classroom. “Those who are able to go, head towards the plaza. We have...some disturbing news.”

Clamor + Winter
“I’d advise to head towards the plaza right away. It seems as though...Jessiah wants to say something about the situation. Along with the head of knights.”

Audax
“I can feel the unnatural imbalance in mana in the air...Something must hace happened near the plaza and Sleipnir Park....”

The plaza? By this point he seemed to have fully recovered from the blow. He thought of Jessiah as he was mentioned, the Repulican leader. What would he have to say about this? Did he know who had caused the explosion? Winter thought back to the cult members from before...and the murders...maybe they were connected to this? Maybe he was about to get some answers.

Pushing himself to his paws, the fox weaved around the rubble of the blast toward the plaza. He only hoped his friends were okay...as he didn't see them at the moment. He supposed they'd be heading this way too. As he reached the plaza, taking in the sight, he stared, wide eyed for a moment, in shock at the massive damage. The once beautiful decorated paths decimated, rubble everywhere, littered with recovering pokemon, some still unconscious, most likely, as they would have taken the worst of the explosion. He awkwardly made his way through the destroyed ruins, searching for the Garchamp.

"Emerald!" Fortem's tail slowly began to wag. He tried helping his friend up and acting as his crutch of sorts so that they could both get to the plaza, which wasn't far. Hopefully nothing too bad would happen now...

Clamor nodded thankfully, and followed the advice. Knowing that the two leaders would be there... the war could possibly end right now, but more likely, there would be a lot more battling... he was ready for it, but still, he shuddered.

Audax wondered if you had to have mana to feel it, or if its just training. Either way, it didn't seem as obvious to him... "That's not good..." Audax paused, but decided that the best choice of action for him would be to investigate for information. "I'm gonna check it out," He said after making up his mind. "Thanks!"

Emerald leaned on Fortem as they made their way to the plaza

The plaza was utterly ruined. The fountain there was ruined also....everything was broken. The air seemed to overwhelm everyone slightly as they arrived...it was full of mana

Jessiah looked at the rubble. “...This is terrible...right, who are we pointing fingers at?” He sneered at the knights.

Dainn looked at the rubble. “...no one at the moment. Who knows what could have happened here...” He stepped forward to pick up one of the shining green shards. “However, it seems like someone has broken into Sleipnir Park.”

The bright green shard shone brightly. It was similar to the crystal that Winter held.

“Hm...It seems as though someone has exploded a shard. To cause an mana explosion..”

Fortem wished he knew more about mana so he could have a better grasp on the conversation. A mana explosion? Probably the type of explosions that had utterly decimated the plaza... If there were more shards to be exploded, didn't that mean there could be more dangerous explosions like this? Neither side needed more weapons at this point, that would make things worse...

Audax listened intently, picking up a few shards to examine and putting it in his bag once Dainn did, since he now knew it was safe to do it, hopefully. He still felt very tense, as fighting could still break out at any moment, and with dangerous rubble all around too.

Clamor was surprised that Dainn seemed genuine when he said that the knights hadn't done it... he was actually somewhat inclined to believe them. But then who did? Surely not republicans, and neutrals probably would stay out of the fighting... Who did it?

The Shaymin's words from before returned to him. Something about the crystals entering the wrong hands could be disastrous...it seemed that was exactly what had happened, judging by the damage and the crystals everywhere. He thought back to where he had received his own shard. From a thug...he wondered what the scraggy's connection had been to the crystal...where had he gotten it from? Was he related to the explosion? Or did he steal from someone who was? Whatever the case, he made his way closer, mingling with the gathering crowd.

Jessiah looked at the Gallade. “Those crystals weren’t ordinary yeah?”

“Of course they aren’t ordinary...they shouldn’t be on the surface though...why is one crystal broken right here...?” Dainn looked around. He knew what they were. But he never actually thought he’d ever get to see them.

“...What are you knights up to eh? Magic...The crystals and explosions. It all points to you having a part in this, no?” Jessiah crossed his arms, with a smug expression.

“Do you really think that we’d have a part in this? To cause damage to Luminia like this?” Dainn’s expression darkened.

“Sure sure, cover everything up. Tell me...are you truly protecting Luminia? Perhaps it’s time you retire.”

At this point, Thea spoke up. “Do you really think something as unnatural as this can be caused by anyone here? Think logically for one moment here. You claim to want the best for Luminia. Think logically.”

There was silence after that as the crowd around them comprehended this... it was a supernatural event. There was an explanation but the origin of these crystals were unknown...

“Truce. For now.” Dainn spoke up. “...the fighting we’ve been doing is pointless...”

“ Jessiah growled. “If I see any reason for a provocation, then I won’t hesitate to sully my hands myself...my orders won’t change. Attack if you feel it’s necessary. On sight.”

Margo was utterly flabbergasted. On one hand, She knew the knights would never do something like this to luminia. on the other, Jessiah might just be right. She shook her head, confused. She trotted up next to Emerald and Fortem, kind of enjoying the mana in the air. It made her feel warm and energized. She felt. . .Powerful, almost. Her eye blazed rainbow, not deciding on a dominant emotion. She shivered, almost knocking Leo off her back. She jumped a little as his electrified fur shocked her.

So fortem and audax could be right... perhaps it was the cult's doing? Maybe even a mistake, thought both were doubtful about that.

Clamor nodded at the command. It was tiring, but necessary to fight... right?

“Mhm...My only advice for everyone is this. Stay far away from Sleipnir Park.” Thea said before turning heel and leaving.

Emerald looked at both Fortem and Audax, before picking up a fragment of the exploded crystal

The crowd began to disperse...everyone was shaken up by the explosion

Within the crowd...there were some that didn’t seem to belong though

"You ok?" Fortem asked Emerald. He was probably still shocked and injured a bit by the explosion as well.

Audax curiously examined the bit of crystal he had picked up. Maybe he could find out more about it or who had created it or the explosion by observing it.

Clamor eyed the crowd suspiciously. Chaos could break out at any moment, and there were many shady figures he could notice.

Xatina was still near the school, pacing back and forth over and over again. The explosion seemed to make her all the more restless and filled her with questions that begged to be answered. Who caused the explosion? Why? What would happen now? She felt as trapped as a Rufflet in a cage, but she had orders that needed to be followed. Still, it felt as if Xatina was walking on hot coals. Xatina's mind battled between that of a loyal soldier and her burning curiousity. Why did it have to be so difficult?

“Not particularly...it’s been ages since...I had time with friends...” Emerald murmured. “...everything just hurts...”

Some mysterious figures seemed to ve entering the school of magic...they weren knights at any rate. And if they were rebels they had a death wish. But they were going im regardless

Clamor watched them go in... no way would he be following them, though, he'd just get beat up for nothing. Fortem saw the pokemon enter too... "I can try and find you a healer," Audax offered to Emerald. Fortem glanced at his friend, feeling slightly guilty. "Sorry Emerald, there's something important I need to check out... I hope that's ok with you. I'll be back sometime," Hopefully, he thought, before following the pokemon into the school. Clamor noticed that too. Huh... it was that wolf pokemon again. Maybe he was going to investigate...? Clamor was pretty sure he was neutral, seeing as he didn't announce their presence that time at the jail break.

Winter began to leave the Plaza, unsure of what to do now. Should he head back to the arena? Meh...he had no desire for more battling, a bruise still painful on the back of his head. He began to just wander around.
