Margo sighed and decided to do something good for a change. she
bought three blankets and a bad of small stuffed animals and went
to the hospital. It took her a half an hour to get there, weighed
down as she was. She entered the hospital and whispered, "I am here
to give gifts to the injured young Pokémon."
The books lay open at the library desk...what could be in them?
Emerald leaned his head near Clamor, whose head was resting on a
bubble. He had his notepad in front of him too.
The nurse looked at Margo. “Thank you, be safe out there. There
have been some hooded figures about.”
Thea looked at Veil confused as she took the note and began reading
it. She wondered what he was up to...she had heard of the
mysterious Drizzile who ran another cafe in the District
The joltik climbed onto a dew soaked web, and drank the orbs of
water. He clambered over to collect a caterpie from a web and ate
it. Then started to practice its attack moves on a dummy.
Margo nodded in agreement and went past the elevator to the stairs,
where she began making rounds. When she got to the middle, she was
halfway out of things. She knocked on the door, then pushed it
open. Inside were a riolu and a luxio. Margo gasped and dropped the
bag. She rushed over to Emerald and gave him a hug, being carefull
not to hurt him. "Oh Emerald! I was woried!" She whispered, her eye
flashing to gold instantaneously. Margo stepped back and looked at
the luxio. She bowed slightely and whispered, " plesure to meet
you. My name is Margo.
Yours?" He kind of looked familiar, but she wasn't sure.
Veil narrowed his eyes and thought about his options. “Now I’ve
given you information, mind telling me what happened?” The question
was a bluff. He unfurled his tail, one of his lying tells.
Thea could sense he was neither Loyalist or Republican. So she felt
safe in telling him what she knew. “To be honest...there isn’t much
information.” She sighed. “All I know is that a great explosion
happened at the plaza because of a mana crystal exploding.” She
looked at the sky. “Now Imm suspicious of both strongholds of each
faction...
Emerald smiled upon seeing Margo. He was happy to see her
“...And the hooded figures?” Veil honestly didn’t care about the
war, but he attempted to sound interested. If this district fell,
it may or may not be his fault. In the end, however, it wouldn’t
have mattered to him.
“I’m drawing a blank on that one. I’m afraid I have no idea
myself.” Thea stated steadily as she looked at Veil. Her own
thoughts were concealed from him. Her expression didn’t give much
away
Margo squinted. "Wait a sec," she whispered. "Your that luxio that
I tried to get the attention of a while back!" Here eye turned pink
and she looked down sheepishly. " Sorry about that. . . I really
am."
He didn’t think he was getting anywhere, however it was worth a
try. “Are you sure?” Veil’s suspicion may be seen as suspicious
itself, but at this point he couldn’t care.
Thea would sit down. “I don’t gain anything from lying to you.” She
let out a deep sigh as she thought of the group that was snooping
around the castle upon her suggestion
He paused, looking at her. “... No.” It wasn’t wholly a lie,
however if Thea thought he was lying, there wasn’t much to debunk
that thought. The situation was beyond poor in Veil’s opinion, and
he was aware of this.
Margo looked at the luxio, and whispered "I bet you have a speaking
problem. Kind of like me, except you cant talk at all. I cant talk
louder that this." She addressed Emerald. "What is his name?"
Margo stood up and tentatively bowed to Clamor. Then she turned
around and forgot all about Clamor as she saw how bad Emeralds
wounds really were. "Are you leaving soon? do you need more
energy?"
“I’m fine for now Margo...” Emerald smiled. He hopped off the bed.
He still had some wounds but they were healing fast. “Wanna sit on
a bubble with me? Just for a little bit?”
