"I suppose... it's just, y'know, the tension," He responded,
looking down at his paws.
Audax nodded. "Thanks for letting me know." He's already gathered
some useful information, which he would relay back to Yung this
evening probably, if he could. He wondered what the others sent to
spy were doing right now.
Clamor yawned. "I might go home early," He wrote. "I'm tired. See
you around," He waved at the new recruit before padding away. The
snow fell onto his black pelt, covering it with little white spots.
He shivered.
Winter
As Winter would find out as the spell struck him. Magic...pierces
defenses. Thankfully, it seemed as though the Tyrunt didn’t have
much of a grip on the magic it was casting and was immediately
knocked out by the Ice Beam on counter
Fortem
“I see...in times like these, it’s even more important to hve
friends which can support you...who knows what could happen to you
psyche if you decided to face this alone...” Dainn said surveying
the area.
Audax
Dalsin nodded. It seems as though the little Eevee was someone
truly on his side...and he had hope that there had to be others in
the neutral faction too that were fighting back..
Clamor
The evening was cold but it wasn’t too bad in general, despite the
snow
Emerald waited a little longer before exiting the arena and finding
an alleyway to slip into the costume
He winced from the impact of the spell. At least it wasn't
fire...he thought. The hail buffeted the rock dragon as he padded
up to the unconscious creature, making sure it was out for the
count. That's what you get for acting so rashly! he thought
before perking his ears, searching for any incoming attackers.
Fortem nodded. Dainn's advice was often pretty good, and although
they were technically on different sides of the war now, Fortem
still took it. He'd try to find Emerald tommorow, and hope that he
wasn't... still in prison. "Thanks, Dainn," He said with a yawn as
he began to pad back to his room. Hopefully he could find both
Emerald and Yung tommorow to share what he knew and who he'd
recruited. Maybe they had a chance in this after all.
With a wave of his fluffy tail, Audax padded outside where the sun
was starting to set. He hadn't gotten any specific instructions
about where to meet back up with the pack of neutrals once the day
was done, so he just calmly headed to the stage where the portal
was. Hopefully the others knew where to find him.
Clamor reached home, grateful to be inside, though it was a little
barren in the house. He was fairly cold sensitive, so to knock out
two opponents with one strike, he began to battle train. Slowly but
surely, he felt his limbs warm up as he followed through with each
swipe, hitting imaginary opponents. His dream for a long time had
been to become noticed for his skills and not his disability, and
this war seemed like the first time he actually had a chance of
doing just so. After a while, he flopped onto his bed, and fell
asleep relatively easily due to how much energy he had used today.
"I'm back," Audax announced to the lucario and the glaceon. He was
grateful that nothing had happened to them. Though it was quite
beautiful, the forest also looked a tiny bit ominous and scary,
especially for a pokemon that had never seen one like this before.
Audax
“Ah Audax.” Yung stood up. “I’m guessing you haven’t looked for any
suspicious activity, judging how early you’re back...”
His expression softened though when he saw him. “But disregarding
that, I hope everything is alright, especially with the situation
at the moment.”
Winter
Emerald was definitely waving towards Winter...it was definitely
him in the thief’s costume. He looked like someone from one of the
comics, especially with the mask
Winter quietly trotted over to him, whispering "Emerald?" He hadn't
realized his friend would be here, especially in the middle of
battle between sides.
Winter
“What’s up? Yeah...it’s time to look for suspicious activities.”
Emerald whispered to him. “But whatcha think?” He giggled lightly
as he did a small pose...thankfully they were in an alleyway at
this point
"You look like a comic book theif...I suppose I need to put that
outfit on, too?" He cringed at the thought of how weird he'd
look...but they were on a mission...
Audax nodded. "I'll tell you what I know then... so all of the
knights get to help strategize for battles, so I'll probably get
information on that soon, as soon as I get a chance to do that.
There's also a neutral grovyle named Dalsen who's a knight trainer,
and I've also seen Fortem speaking to a few pokemon, so he probably
knows more. Oh, also, I know my dark magic mentor Thea is neutral.
I'll make sure to search for suspicious activity tommorow," He
promised.
Winter
“It’s the colours that help.” Emerald said. It’s all black after
all...that would definitely help them during the night
Audax
“There’s a lot more neutral people hidden here and there then I
thought...” Yung said thoughtfully. “Yeah...that would make
sense...” he began pacing around
Audax
“I see...but there were guards right? The prison can’t be broken
out of then right...?” She tilted her head. “Ah well...they’ll
catch them again, I’m sure of it...”
Winter
“Snazzy.” Emerald grinned and they both entered the Republicans
base.
It was fairly dark...and they blended in well with the darkness.
There were some conversations around them but nothing of import so
far
Audax nodded, but that didn't really sound likely to him, more like
wishful thinking. Still, he didn't want to sound too pessimistic.
Besides, being neutral, Audax thought that maybe the republican
jail break could be a good thing. Lumi was probably leaning towards
the loyalists which was reasonable, so it would look worse to her.
Winter simply followed, listening carefully. It still felt weird
sneaking, but there was also a weird thrill to it...like an actual
spy game with stakes and all that...probably due to the fact he was
doing it with a childhood friend.
Winter glanced at Emerald. "We should get closer." He flicked his
tail toward Jessiah and the figures. "It sounds important, don't
you think?" He whispered
