Pokemon: Heaven's Duality
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → Pokemon: Heaven's DualityThere were some thuds and other noises from downstairs. Sounds like there were some people training after all.
Fortem
“J-Just calming down...” she murmured as she kept her eyes on the book and continued to read. Her breathing was slowly slowing back down to a normal rate
Clamor
In the chaos, Clamor broke Emerald’s cage...he was free. Despite the Thunder Wave, the knights were attempting to leave to get reinforcements
Clamor used takedown again, blocking their path, and used crunch with giant, black astral jaws. He hoped to free one or two more pokemon before leaving, but that might not be possible. If the guards escaped, Clamor would leave too. However, Clamor would try and knock them out before that happened. He felt comfortable now, battling.
Rene nodded, understanding. “I’m not very strong though...I don’t know if I can help...”
Clamor
Emerald got out and they fled together. Once outside the castle walls, Emerald gave a tight affectionate hug to Clamor. They weren’t able to free many pokemon on their way out though
Eh, at least Clamor had gotten some pokemon out, namely Emerald. He grinned, happy to have done something good. He was also surprised that he managed to get into the jail and back twice in a day... Wow! He wouldn't be going back if he could help it, though. They would probably ramp up the security a ton.
Rene thought about it. She did want to be able to make a difference in some form, no matter how insignificant that was...was she brave enough though? She was always the extreme timid type...at this point the she wasn’t too strong but...
“The teachers wouldn’t mind right...? I’ll try and lend a hand...”
Rene then offered her student card. She was a D-Class mage, knowing two Earth spells
Clamor
“Oh dear...how am I gonna repay you for that?” Emerald smiled happily as they walked back, he just nuzzled and showed affection towards Clamor every step he took. He did mean it. Being thrown into prison really did surprise him in the end, he never expected to land in that situation...
Clamor was overwhelmed by Emerald's affection. He wasn't expecting to be praised... still, it was a welcome surprise. Clamor did like attention, as much as he hated to admit it. With a flick of his tail, he led Emerald back to the arena. Along the way, he picked up his slate and chalk, which he'd left in the street from yesterday's fight. He was surprised it was still there.
Rene nodded and started wandering around the school to see what she could do...figure out who to talk to to recruit them to their side
Emerald did notice Fortem exiting the school but said not a word. He just focused on following Clamor back to the arena, where it was mainly quiet. There weren’t many people there now
The fighting was still going on, but not at the castle. It had once again been pushed to the District and Plaza
"I think we've had enough fighting for the day," Clamor scribbled down on his board once they were back at the arena. "Are you ok?" The riolu had probably had enough adventure for a week, joining the republicans, going into battle and getting sent to and escaping jail, all in one day.
The food and drink available was very lustrous, fitting for a sky kingdom. But it was bittersweet in times of war, and the fact that not everyone had access to it...
The High General of the Knights, Dainn would be talking to various knights and eventually wound up near Fortem himself.
"Ah, I trust that you've been well?" His voice was as formal as always, polite yet commanding and still holding a great presence. The civil war didn't seem to wear him down one bit.
In the corner, there was Audax and a Grovyle, Fortem would probably recognise him as an instructor, judging by the armour and cape.
Everywhere you could see, there were knights that weren't fighting, just talking to each other, and trying to lift their spirits while it lasted.
Winter
There was a rumbling outside. Harringale came into find Winter.
"Bad news...I'm afraid the fight has come to our doorstep, if you could help in any way, that would be appreciated.". His voice was calm, composed but there was an urgency within his voice. He would half sprint, half fly out of the building, presumably to join the fray.
Strangely enough, Jessiah didn't seem to be participating in the fighting...
Clamor
"Oh I'm fine...trouble finds me easily, and well, I'm used to days with much on my back...all I need is this really." On his word, he lifted his paw up and with a small burst of emerald green sparkles, a giant bubble was formed and Emerald flopped onto it. He felt safe in doing so since the fight had been taken away from the castle and arena.
Margo + Xatina
While this was going on, the fighting shifted. Elsewhere, towards the shopping district. There was no telling when this would end, as fighters on both sides were willing to fight, get injured, be rushed back to get healed and then leap into the fray once more; the more serious fighters anyway
The first adversary he came to was an enemy mage Tyrunt...this might be the first time Winter would be going up against Luminian Magic. This mage didn't seem too experienced though, and on top of that, they seemed overconfident.
"Rebel Vulpix! Accept judgement, and admit defeat! What you are doing is wrong!" A blue magic circle appeared in front of them
"Thanks for the training," Audax thanked Dalsin. He really did think he had improved, and though his paws ached, he also felt like he could jump triple his own height, though that might be a bit of a stretch.
It was getting late, and Clamor was exhausted as always. It wasn't easy being a fighter republican luxio! His priseon escapes hadn't improved his energy level either. He pulled out a few berries, and tossed one to Emerald with a tail flick while munching on one himself.
“...I wonder when this war is going to end...” Dainn mused for the moment as he then looked back at Fortem.
“I trust that you’re taking care of yourself, sometimes you definitely overexert yourself a bit too much.” Dainn crossed his arms at that point, looking at the ceiling of the hall, which was well lit, and since it was inside the castle, it was fancy
“It’s a shame that Emerald never completed his training to be a squire...”
Audax
“Hmph, my pleasure.” Dalsin grinned and placed his hands on his hips. “But it’s only just the beginning to becoming strong.” He took a berry juice drink off the table and drunk it heartily
Clamor
“Want to join me...? There’s space..” Emerald murmured as he patted the bubble before catching the berry to eat it. “Thank you!” He ate the berry with gratitude
Audax agreed. How long had Dalsin trained to be able to jump in armour that looked twice his own weight? Probably ages. "I'll keep practicing then," Audax promised.
Clamor decided to join him. The bubble was very soft, and it reminded him of that bubble emporium shop he'd seen earlier. If it still existed when the war was over, Clamor would want to check it out.
“...Come to think of it...it’s been rare to see you two together in the recent months, is everything alright?” Dainn looked at Fortem, a little concerned. The two used to be almost inseparable, and now...
Audax
“Of course, you won’t just have me as a trainer.” Dalsin said. “You’ll have others too, which specialises in different aspects. Some are definite loyalists, without a shadow of a doubt...” He looked around the hall. None of the other instructors seem to be here at the moment.
Clamor
Emerald cuddled up to Clamor. The bubble would wobble and squeak due to the duo being on it. He was definitely worried about the future...as well as the thing he had to do in a bit. Sneaking around.
Margo
For the first time that day, the sounds of the wind and nature could be heard again. It was....pleasant amidst the falling snow
A singular beam of water snakes its way towards Winter, at a high speed. Unlike Water Gun, the water here was much more condensed, almost looking like a white laser headed straight for him
