Forum-Index → Roleplay → Kingdom of Aeraya"I JUST TOLD Y- whatever. Page 41. '(Insert Kingdom) is Falling Down'. You begin, I'll join in, understood?" He leans forward to look his brother exactly in the eye. He stands on his toes to try and look intimidating. "What's this dump called anyways? Area? Arara? It sure looks like it's falling down. The air is tense."
...
And they didn't want to lose their only friend due to this depression. But they believe that's jumping to conclusions. They aren't going to lose Noah they know so suddenly.
Feliciano snorted a little "yep, yep, got it, surely" he was really fighting the urge to laugh at his brother's attempt to appear intimidating. Literal idiot. "I'm pretty sure it's called arabia actually" he cleared his throat and takes a couple of steps forward
"Arabia is falling down," he started. Absolutely stupid.
~ Arabia is falling down,
Falling down, falling down,
Arabia is falling down,
My fair Lady.
Set a knight to watch all night,
Watch all night, watch all night
Set a knight to watch all night,
My fair Lady.
Suppose the knight should fall and die,
Fall and die, fall and die,
Suppose the knight should fall and die,
My fair Lady.
Sad aside, deploy a new
Deploy a new, deploy a new
Sad aside, employ a new
My fair Lady. ~
He looks around briefly to see if the number caught any people's attention, and sure enough, a little group of people has gathered around. Some watch from afar but - he nods to his companion - how long till they'll join the group, too?
"Next one's your pick, dearest foolish brother of mine."

A new mask over her face, this one a pantalone style-mask, Quill let out a tired sigh. Seated on a bench near the bakery, she kept one eye on the young and carefree royals as they cheered and bounded from place to place. Occasionally she would flash one of them a small smile, seeing such joy, no pun intended, was pleasant for Quill.

Hanging from his shoulder was a large sack with a scratchy texture and hay poking out of the holes in the fabric, Avery lugged the sack towards the horses with a fresh bucket of water in the other. Panting lightly and desperate to hold his shoulder from the strain it felt, his eyes narrowed. A black horse with black and grey flecks was at his side, a horse he liked to call Walter, huffed and lapped gratefully at the water.
Slowly walking through the city, taking the time to talk to each person he could, the soft lyrical lilt of a song cut through the chatter of the crowd, drawing Kanata's attention. The high priest inclined his head and gently weaved through the crowds to find the source. Two boys, Kanata found, sang a short melody with complementing tones flowing from their bodies. He stuck to the edge, letting his more eye-catching robes blend in with the crowd as he observed discretely
Ah, Mother was here. Elliot thought with a tight-lipped smile. That meant that his chances of drawing Father away to hand off the papers were close to none. While it was frustrating, to say the least, Elliot didn't mind. His own work was minor compared to the safety of his family so he discreetly tucked away the documents into his pockets and began to slowly and invisibly excuse himself. He'd have other chances at a later time to speak about political issues, Father was occupied with other more important things.
Kalinda nodded eagerly. "Sounds fun!" She exclaimed, a smile breaking onto her face.
rosaline gave thea her key. "so..." she smiled. "take care, ill pick you up at..." she looked at thea, asking for a meeting time.
Ava hummed for a second, trying to think. They never really understood responsibility or whatever the king had to do, or why their duties and work are important. "I think it just adds to your charm, you know, like the very fun teacher that everyone likes" they leaned in a little and whispered "No offense but your dad is the very scary teacher type" they shot a tiny grimace to really emphasize the scary part
"Ha, we are so cool" Feliciano clears his throat "I'm way better at this though" he quickly remarked before singing his pick
Almost Heaven, West Arabia
Real big mountains, do theyevenhave a river?
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, growing like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
Not Arabia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads
"See the message in this original of mine is that you should listen to me and my brother right now"
Thea looks around the hotel. This is so much bigger than her own house. Of course it is in theory, it houses so many people, but when you're actually there yourself... looking around... well it's simply breathtaking, isn't it?
She takes the key in her hand, letting it rest by her hip as she responds to the girl before her: "Would 3 PM be alright? That's in an hour or so.. I really would love to sleep a bit, I always used to nap around this time." She yawns discretly.
Lovino stares at him dumbfounded and opts to cough into his arm to gather attention to himself.
"My brother is right, we would like your attention on us and what we will do to this city while we are here," he clenches his fist and pumps it up in the air. "We would like to reform this city in the name of the goodness of our hearts. We will listen when no one else will. We will be the ones you can turn to when everything else seems too dark. We are the evolution of Arabia; the new Priest Brothers!"
Looking at his map again, he notices that there's already a church present. He groans. "And also all other priests can go now bye"
As he listened to the two sing with voices that turned heads, Kanata laughed quietly to himself. What an interesting duo, he couldn't say that he didn't hate them. He didn't seem all the phased by Lovino as he declared their intentions for the city, tipping his head in confusion. A new pair of priests? While he didn't mind providing lodging and perhaps even taking the two under his wing, it was perplexing, to say the least, that they declared it abruptly instead of talking it over with him.
Gently easing his way through the crowd, Kanata stepped through the gathered people. His garbs spoke of his position as high priest, painstakingly crafted by himself and embroidered. "Hmm, I'm more than willing to 'go' but this is a bit too 'sudden', no?" Kanata spoke up, his voice washing over the crowd like the rolling waves. His words held no malice, genuine confusion bleeding into his tone, yet it soothed over any irritation Lovino may have had over the presence of a pre-established church. Even if only for a moment
A darker emotion flickered over Kanata's face and before he knew it, he had crossed the small space between him and the two brothers and none-too-gently, hit Lovino over the head. "Now now," he huffed, his face returning to a more peaceful pout. "It's not nice to throw around "accusations" like that. You shouldn't go around "insulting" people's fathers." Glancing over to Joy, he tipped his head and smiled reassuringly to the princess. Her bold declaration was admirable and though Kanata was more inclined to at least hear out what the brothers were planning, he couldn't say that he hated Joy's methods of chasing them out before they could do any damage
