"You're monster hunters?" Hiraeth asks, eyes widening. He looks worried, as if the collection of teenagers would try and take him down right here. Which, of course, they probably wouldn't now. Against some monsters, they might lose if they don't get their act together. But against Ten... He thinks. Making a quick decision, he puts up his claws, narrows his eyes, and growls a little, the sound more akin to a cat than a dog.

Greg being in his regular not caring sassy mood he noticed the monster like features he commented "Sorry Naruto wanna be,but mind explaining why i am still alive right now?thanks" he then formed a fake smile

Talyn looked around, listened to all the jokes, eyes wide with with terror growing evermore when as Hiraeth began to growl. "Let me get this straight." She said, looking from Hiraeth to the group of other people around her. "You all find all this," She flailed her arms around like a child throwing a tantrum, referring to everything around her, "normal enough to not to run?" She let out a wheezing, terrified breath. "I mean, look at Mr.Claw-man over here! He looks like he wants to kill us!"

"I don't want to kill you, but I'm willing to if it protects Ten." Hiraeth replies. Again, he seems hesitant. "And I rather give your souls a fast death. Others will not be so inclined."

His gaze flicks away for a moment, as if he heard something, but the rest of the town is quiet. Not now, Lee. Don't look for me now.

Matt put hands on his hips and huffed, staring Hiraeth up and down "I didn't asked for any of this and if you are willing to put your life on the train track for that Ten-Person then he most likely isn't such a bad guy. Give me one reason why i would have a need to chop his head off- Which i cant do anyways, mind you."

"It's instinctive for humans to dislike monsters. Why should new hunters be any different than the old ones?"

Matthew's face grimaced as if somebody just spit on him "Slow down, Flowey. I am also a leech of a human being and nobody tried to kill me yet" Well, that wasn't exactly true- He got some death threads at his school but they were completely pathetic so that didn't count. "Maybe I was told to kill somebody but that doesn't mean I will do it. I don't have any problem with your friend. Does he need to kill others to survive? I get that. Humans kill animals to survive too- We just talked about that. I don't do that." Call him insane but Matt really didn't felt any hate toward the Demon beings. They have to survive, Right? They are doing just that. Did he just betray his entire human nature? Possibly so. Doesn't matter. He doesn't give a flying feather. Even if Ten personally came to put down Matt as a sick stray then he would most likely understand and forgive him in the end- Yes, he would also most likely throw a tantrum first but that's just what he does.

Hiraeth's claws slipped back into their hidden state, and he takes a step back. "That's... humans don't do that. They do what they have to do to survive. They kill to save themselves."

Greg walked towards Matt's and Hiraeth's conversation and interrupted "Well, not to survive, just so i can be over with this, listen here, I honestly couldn't care less about any of this, so mind doing me a favour and kill me?Honestly,..."He turned to the others "do you think just because you are back, you can fight monsters?You know, beasts with superhuman strength and abilities?With what?What weaponry do you possess?Do we even know how to kill them?"He started yelling, Greg was always a pessimist,he never really cherished anything or cared about people or life but he was always a man of logic, seeing this made it seem illogical, even if he never liked talking to strangers he was honestly mad that they are looking at the paranormal and still seeming semi-neutral,the only way he could shake of that feeling was by talking about it

"Hell, I know Naruto here" pointing at Hiraeth "will not hesitate to kill us, they are honestly manipulating us all to believe they won't do that,the only reason they playing nice is because they are afraid of you in numbers, when they get the chance we will drop, one by one"

"I have no idea what is happening right now or how we are gonna defend ourselves from monsters" Mark hummed in agreement with Greg, "But. " he continued, "if life has given me a second chance, I sure am not going to ruin it!" he didn't notice that his speech had turned into shouting. "I don't think even the sharpy claws can do us harm when we all are united" by sharpy claws, he obviously meant Hiraeth.

Greg obviously looking pissed off he replied to Mark "Ye you do that, while your own that, I ma just go kill myself if you don't mind ye, good luck with getting yourself killed ay?See ya in hell" he said and considered running off but he just couldn't he knew that if he left he would be easy prey and about him killing himself, he can't do that, he cant muster up the courage to kill himself again, the thought of it makes him feel grief and regret

Matt felt as an imaginary hammer hit his temples. There was too much noise. He threw up his hands in frustration and then pointed at Hiraeth "I can recognize people with bad intentions from miles away and my instincts are telling me that this guy is not one of them, let's view it from his point of view- He tries to protect his people. Seriously, If you don't believe me then at least shut up and listen to him since he seems like the only one who has an idea of whats going on" He growled through his teeth.
His mind knew that it wasn't a smart decision, siding with a... Other being and not other humans but he wasn't listening to it. Maybe it just because Hiraeth was vegetarian as Matthew (And as his Younger Brother taught him- "Veggie Bros stick together") or maybe just because Matt didn't want to see anybody gang up on him and beat him to a pulp... Or he just completely lost it. Yeah, Thats probably it.

Greg usually doesn't care but he won't continue on when it honestly makes someone puke, he has morals, he backed down, but he his aura, you could tell how mad he was, his aura was radiating anger and distaste but he kept his mouth shut

"That guy has claws!" Mark was still yelling, "he said he won't hesitate to kill us if qe cause his friend a problem! From that guy's prespective we stay alive as long as his friend likes us! What else is there to consider?" He then paused for a moment to think, "you know what?.." he lowered his voice, "I am probably not even thinking straight, I am still processing all the information that was suddenly dropped on me, maybe you are right"

The Pastel Boy let himself let out a breath as shouting faded. "It has been a long day, Man. I get where you come from." This was more social interaction that he had in weeks- It made him feel tired and weird but also... Good, in some way. He got to voice his thoughts and somebody would actually listen- Even if they were arguing against each other. It was a nice feeling but he didn't let that get far too deep in his mind. He mirrored Greg and sank to the ground, sitting cross-legged as he started picking on the grass.

Greg wanted to yell due to him not having his usual music playing while he is in a bad move, it angered him, but he still tried to stay silent so he wouldn't disturb the temporary peace
so he mumbled to himself "I miss my music"

Felix observed the situation. It all seemed so chaotic.
As a response to Greg, Felix was torn between agreeing and disagreeing with him. "Well you see", He started. "We don't exactly want to kill monsters. It's not like we know how to, either."

He hoped his words would calm Hiraeth, as Felix wasn't exactly interested in getting ripped into shreds by those claws.
"Right now, we should probably just try to get somewhere safe, and try to find out what is going on and why we're here."
