"And I'm Hiraeth," a boy says, poking his head around from a nearby alley where the dog came from. His voice matches with the second one, the one that had said 'sorry' for some reason. At first glance, he really doesn't seem out of the ordinary, until the hand clutching the corner twitches slightly as he sheathes his claws. "What are you all do out here this time of night? Don't you know there's monsters lurking about?"

Felix felt a bit uncormfortable. "Monsters?", he repeated, insecurity in his voice. He was always the kind of person to believe in things like demons and monsters, and the fact that he had watched a series called Supernatural didn't quite help.

Matt protectively put arms around his backpack and pulled himself back onto his legs, he looked like he was ready to hiss if Hiraeth came any closer. "That's it. This is my Brain projecting some traumatic-experience blasphemy again or i am-" He shut himself off, that was impossible. He was clean for some weeks now. He ran a hand through his hair, his braid going slightly more undone. "Dammit." Apparently, he had nothing else to say.

Hiraeth narrows his pale eyes for a moment. "Yes... monsters." He says, slowly, as if thinking it over himself. "I thought newbies came on Fridays? And you haven't even had the talk?" With a gentle 'sh' sound, his claws are out again, digging into the brick of the building. He seems hesitant, however.

Felix retreated, taking a few steps backwards at the sight of claws. "What are you talking about", he asked, trying to sound a little more brave than he actually was, but failing miserably.

Talyn stares at the new-comer, tugging at her hair now. "Okay, am I really crazy, or does that man have claws?" She asked, trying to sound as nonchalant about it as she wished she felt. "Actually, no, back up, is he also saying there are monsters out here and we're just standing around? I mean, if this is all real and not what," she motions at the kid who had just stuffed jellybeans in his mouth moments earlier,"he said, I would rather not start my day by becoming monster chow."

"Hm. Good thing I'm vegetarian." Hiraeth smiles. Suddenly, he seems a lot less threatening and a lot more like a friendly kid. Except for the claws, which are a little disconcerting. He steps from around the corner, not coming any closer, but moving enough so he's fully illuminated by a yellow glow from above.

For some reason, Matt instantly felt himself calm down. Was it the candy? No, that doesn't react soo fast. His breathing was ragged but otherwise, he felt fine... He could have sworn he was nearing a headache just a minute ago. He decided not to question it- Not question this whole situation, for now. "Same, Dude. Having no bloodshed in the system is great- We are not going to take a part in Mass Genocide, Right?" Maybe he should listen to that thing about Monsters and well, scatter and try to find a safe place to hibernate or something.

Hiraeth's smile widens, then drops completely. "I might not harm you, as long as you stay out of my path, but there are other monsters that might. I suggest you stay inside for now. Unless you have a reason for being out?"

Despair wondered if she could trust Hiraeth. She figured she probably should, at least for now. She wanted to say something, but she didn't have a real response.

"I, for one, am ready to be anywhere but out here." Talyn said, still eyeing Hiraeth suspiciously, but moving her fingers from her hair. "Preferably out of 'monster menu' area, because wherever 'here' is, it honestly doesn't sound all that appealing."

Greg was a bit behind so he didn't really get any attention to himself,he was stuck frozen at the spot shaking,he didn't want to come back,he wanted to die,(edgy Ik)he gave himself a moment to breath in then slapped some sense back to himself and walked up to the rest of the group,barely catching the person's scooby doo joke,being the edgelord he is he decided to comment "but I thought Fred was supposed to be funny"

Gokul had woken from a dream that he was doing parkour and some security had caught him so he thought of doing the leap of faith in assassin's creed and died.But this was not his house,it looked like hell and he muttered finally I am in hell.Then he saw teenagers and went there and said "Name's Gokul".Then he saw a person in whose hands claws where coming out.At first he all this a gaming dream it was so real then he started swearing.
