Matthew recognized when somebody is on the edge- He had a lot of experience and he was good at reading people- Plus this Guy admitted to be suicidal soo... That certainly played a role. He dug into his bag and took out a fruit muesli bar- A diabetic one if the blue wrapper spoke the truth. Who in their right mind gives Matt a diabetical muesli bar?... He probably put it there himself. "Catch," He said and tossed it toward Greg, it fell just inches away from his feet "Your inner demons are showing. Also, I have to give points to Felix here- Safe Space would be certainly lot better than just standing in the middle of nowhere."

Greg picked it up "thanks, i guess" he said then got up and looked at Felix "ye good idea, lets procrastinate our deaths" he said then realized his shirt is a reference to BMTH-True Friends "Cool shirt"
he commented then put his hands in his pockets

It took Felix a moment to realize that he was complimented for his shirt. He started panicking a little as he looked at Greg, who was the one to compliment him, and scanning him really quickly in an attempt to find something to compliment back. He ended up sputtering a quick "Thanks, I like your hair".
He smiled awkwardly before he turned away and took a few deep breaths to calm down again.

Dear stars, why was he like this?

Hiraeth glances away nervously, the shifting gears of his mind practically visible on his face. Last time you made a deal, Lee wasn't happy with you. But, you also got a chat with Tallian that led to his death. Plus, humans without weapons can't do that much harm, right? "All right, what kind of deal?" He asks, eyes narrowed at Toby. "I might be able to supply you all with a safe space and a way to arm yourselves, but what's to keep you from turning on me?"

Matthew flopped onto the ground with a thud as if it was a mattress. He put his hands under his head and looked to the sky "The deal sounds ominous. Cant we just exchange Friendship bracelets or something? But Yeah, I guess that could work." His gaze remained on the sky. It was different than the sky he used to know... Was it weird that it didn't bother him?

Matt was almost ready to get back on his legs and slap Toby with the most power his noodle arms could manage- Luckily, Turns out that Toby didn't meant it seriously so Matthew allowed himself to calm down again "And once again, Yeah. True words. When do you plan to run for office, Toby? America needs you."

Felix, finally calm again, turned back to the group, again looking at Greg. Before he could reply to what Toby just said, which probably would have resulted in a fight between the two, he interrupted.
"Right now, he is the only being that knows what's going on. And he knows this place. Without help, we would probably just wander around, clueless where we are and where we go, so why shouldn't we just accept help? If he turns out to be lying, we can still run, I suppose".

Felix wasn't exactly a diplomat, and Greg didn't seem to be very easy to discuss with or to convince for something. But at least he tried.

Matthew bit his lip and draped the hood over his face in annoyance "Then why didn't he killed us already? He pretty much has no reason to wait if we are such a delicious treat. Maybe we outnumber him but we clearly couldn't fight against these things." His words were muffled but reconizable enough. He motioned to Hiraeths hands, making few circles in the air and he had to let out a soft giggle at Tobys comment "Congratulation, You just got roasted. Drop it already. You cant judge somebody just because of their diet or species. Listen to Felix, The Left Hand of President Toby and Almighty President himself."

Greg getting honestly mad at this point he yelled

He said and backed down walking back to his spot swearing under his breath
