Mel looked up at Tiger in slight surprise. "We do dangerous stuff
all the time. I thought.." She broke off for a moment, blinking
back tears again, this time not from pain. "I couldn't see any of
you." She whispered. "Just a lot of grunts and random Pokémon. So I
guess.. I.. I automatically assumed you guys were dead." She
sniffed and rubbed her eyes. It didn't really help, as more tears
kept forming. "I just want you to be safe. Forget about me." She
whispered, drawing her legs up to her chest and wrapping her good
arm around them.
[they beat Team Skull, they captured Guzma and plan on turning him
in to the police. Mira's at the Pokémon center with Cyndaquil,
borrowing one of Mira's dad's Pokémon while hers heal. Tiger and
Mel are in the hospital, Tiger with a lot if gashes and Mel with a
broken arm (Ivan pretty much dropped a building on her). They're
talking now]
"Forget about you?" Tiger said in slight disbelief. "Sorry, but
that's hard for me to do" he said gently. "I mean who will I turn
to if you're dead...you know Riu isn't the only one who can worry
about you". He said gently and looked over to Victor. "Oh hello" he
said with a nod.
"Hi. And can we please end with the death thing? It’s getting
mildly depressing, if you get my drift. No one here's going to
forget about anyone else, and it seems rather obvious at this
point." Victor said with an air of finality.
"Seconding Victor." Riu shouted, laying on the floor. He
made a face. "This was getting too real."
"This is gonna be awkward and stuff, but I'm gonna hug you." Mel
said firmly, reaching out with her good arm to wrap it around
Tiger. "Thanks." She said, voice slightly muffled. "Victor, you
want a hug?"
"I'm not really what you might call a hug-person..." Victor began.
When he realised that things were getting a bit awkward, he sent
Torterra out of his Pokeball to create some fresh air using
synthesis.
Tiger nodded in response and looked at his pokegear once more. "I
really should go get Cyndaquil before he comes looking for me..."
He said gently, and glanced over to Mel and Victor.
"'M gonna go home." Mel yawned. "Even if they don't let me.
Hospitals are boring anyway." She stood and stretched. "Tell
Cyndaquil and Mira we said hi." She added, nudging the door open.
Unfezant flapped after her and landed on her shoulder, and Riu
sighed and chased after her.
Tiger nodded a goodbye and sighed. He then grabbed his jacket out
of his bag and threw it on. He then walked outside with his hands
in his jacket pocket.
Tiger walked out of the hospital and went back to the Pokémon
center. He looked around Melemele the sounds of the town a strange
feeling from the quiet room. He then walked into the center and saw
Mira, Ivan, and Cyndaquil.
".. On a scale of one to ten, how pissed are you?" Riu
checked, glancing at Mel, who immediately frowned.
"Eight and a half." Mel growled, stomping up the front steps. "Or
maybe nine and a half." She reached into her backpack for the house
key and unlocked the door, pushing it open. "And a solid seven on
the pain scale."
"Didn't you just take aspirin?" Riu asked in confusion,
entering the house after her and shutting the door.
"Yeah, but I slammed my arm on the wall on the way out."
There was nothing to do there. Everyone was ignoring him and he
wanted to see how Tapu Fini was doing. Maybe he needs to apologise.
He turned into her and flied off to the beach with the least people
in it- soon, he was underwater.
Tiger sighed as Ivan left he center. He glanced at Mira. "Have you
found a Pokémon to cover for yours?" He asked kindly, and
remembered hearing that she needed to borrow one of her dad's
Pokémon.
"Oh, right! Sals," Mira nodded, tossing the pokeball into the air.
A Salamence appeared next to her. "This is Sals. My dad would fly
him from region to region."
