Mel was not very pleased with the results, but whatever. She had a
sling now, so that was fun. However, being confined to a small room
was not. She banged her head against the window several times,
causing Riu to sigh and shake his head.

Unfezant cocked her head and fluttered up to the window, glancing
at Riu in amusement. The fighting type seemed ready to bang his
head on a wall too. She flapped outside the window, shaking her
head.
Unfezant glanced down at Tiger and landed on the lamp post. "The
usual threatening to jump out the window. You should get those cuts
checked out." She added in surprise, spotting the wounds.
Tiger nodded and sighed "I'll go see her when I get this stitched
up" he reassured the Pokémon. "Just tell Mel if she jumps I'm not
going to forgive her for breaking her leg...or worse" he mumbled,
and walked into the hospital.
Unfezant relayed the message to Riu, who translated it for Mel, who
immediately flung the window open and attempted to get through
it.
"NO." Both Pokémon shrieked, Riu grabbing her and pulling
her back, and Unfezant shoving her back inside.
"Arceus. Hospitals are so boring." Mel sighed, reaching into her
backpack. Her arm still hurt a bit (okay, a lot, she was fighting
back tears at this point), so there wasn't much she could do except
talk. "We're gonna play a game. Riu, truth or dare?"
Tiger walked into the hospital and checked in. Upon seeing his cut,
the doctor took him to a room, and began to work on him. Tiger sat
down and looked at his pokegear as the doctor worked. He tried to
ignore the pain in his arm.
A few more doctors flitted in and out of the room, asking her
questions such as "how did this happen?" (They were met with a
blank stare) and "when did this happen?" ("thirty years ago")
before finally giving up and leaving the room again.
"What? I'm not telling them I broke my arm because a Tapu
Fini-lookalike dropped a building on me." Mel said flatly,
attempting to cross her arms and failing miserably.
Mira opened her Dad's PC box and looked through them. Any
region, hm? She thought, wondering which one to pick. She knew
almost all of them, of course, but she needed one who loved her the
most. She glanced back to Nurse Joy's desk every now and then.
Tiger glanced at the doctor. The doctor then finished up by
wrapping his arm, and nodded as the wound was stitched. "Alright
take it easy for a few days and your arm will heal" he said kindly.
He then examined the burn wound on Tiger's arm. "I think I have a
cream to get rid of your scar would you-' he was cut off as Tiger
jumped off the table, and looked at his bandaged arm.
"Thanks doc" Tiger said evenly and went upstairs to Mel's room
where he had seen her try to leave.
The doctors intended to keep Mel for at least a few more minutes,
at least to ensure her arm would be alright. She sat cross legged
on the floor, resisting the urge to break through the window and
run for it.
"Tiger!" She exclaimed in surprise, nearly leaping out of her skin.
"I thought you were another doctor and I was actually gonna kick
you, Arceus." She groaned, flopping over on her back. She was
fighting back tears of pain, because broken arms really hurt,
okay?
Tiger looked at Mel and dug through his bag. "It's alright wouldn't
be the first time I was kicked" he said kindly. He then pulled out
some aspirin and handed it over to her. "Here this should help with
the pain... I'm surprised they haven't given you anything for the
pain yet" he said softly.
Cyndaquil ran out of the treatment room and looked around. He then
ran up to Mira and jumped onto the PC.
Mel accepted it. "They offered it, but I said it didn't hurt." She
shrugged, swallowing a few and handing it back. A few stray tears
slipped past her defenses and she rubbed them away. Ow.
"Glad you're okay, though."
Tiger nodded and put the aspirin back into his bag. He then got
Mira's message, and responded with a thanks. I'll go get him
soon he turned back to Mel, and gently wiped a tear that Mel
missed away. "I'm just glad you're alright...that building Ivan
dropped on you.." he trailed off and shook memory away. "I was
worried that he killed you" he whispered.
Cyndaquil nodded and sensed Mira's anger. He then glared at Ivan
crossly.
"Sals! Nice choice," Mira grinned, tapping on the Salamence. The
pokeball was transferred and dispensed. She attached it to her
belt. "Awesome. Is Ivan still behind me by the way."
