Main Plaza
The main hub of the city, it lies in the centre and acts as it heart. All four schools connect to the plaza.

Fountain - A perfect marble fountain where the water always runs crystal clear. Plants and benches are scattered around the main landmark of the city
Stores - A choice selection of stores circle the fountain, the main life of the plaza. From restaurants to boutiques, there's a store for everyone that can be found in the Plaza
Library - the main city library can be found in the plaza. All students can loan books and other resources here.
Residential Area - Above the stores, there is an option for students to live in the idyllic apartments that overlook the heart of the city
Hospital - Located closest to the west, it rarely sees any usage because of the low rate of illness and injuries that Rakua City sports yet has some of the best technology available. Of course horror stories and urban legends exist that surrounds the building but overall its nothing but the ideal hospital

North Campus
Officially known as Rakua Community College, the North Campus is bare none the largest of all the campuses in the city. It accepts students of all ages into its institution.

Courtyard - The courtyard is a large green space that students can grow personal projects on if they so wish. It is carefully maintained by the Student Council and has easily accessible footpaths into the nearby forest.
Main Campus - Filled with Classrooms for the 1st and 2nd Years, it is a place where anything can be taught. Home Ec., Shop, Labs, everything that can be taught is offered and there is a room specifically for that, all located within the various buildings that form the campus.
Side Campus - Specifically hosting 3rd Year courses, this side campus also holds the club rooms for the various clubs that the community college funds
Dorms - Students who don't have a residence in the City proper are offered free room and board on Campus grounds where a complementary breakfast and room cleaning service is offered for everyone
Gym - Behind the school is a gym outfitted for every sport conceivable. From winter sports arenas, wide open atriums for competitions, olympic sized swim areas, everything that one would use is available with enough space for the student body to play with

East Campus
Rakua High School is located just a stones throw away from the main city centre, accepting students from the ages of 12 to 18.

Community Gardens - East Campus boasts the largest community garden in the city, with enough plots of land for it to be classified as farm land. There, sutdents can personally grow things though the land is owned by the city and thus is used for food production on a small scale
School Building - A three story building where the first and second floor are dedeicated to first year classes and the third floor to second and third year courses. It is quite large, but still isn't as large as the college campuses
Dorms - For those who want a taste of independent living, students have a choice to live on campus with complementry breakfast, cleaning services, as well as a weekly option for chores to be done by hired hands.

South Campus
Rakua Childcare Centre is located on the south of the city, with Rakua Elementary as its neighbour. Individually, both facilities are quite small but do take up the second most square footage due to the sheer amount of outdoor facilities

Playground - The entirety of the Campus is in essence, one large play area. A large retractable umbrella serves as its focal point with classroom materials scattered about with plenty of play items to be found
Aquarium - Connecting to the residential area, the Aquarium holds all sorts of animals, even ones that you have never seen before. And its always expanding, its displays different each time you visit

Residential Accommodations
To the west of the Main Plaza is an area dedicated to housing and other such amenities. From townhouses, lane-way houses, apartments, and condos to mansions and other such delights, there is no shortage of accommodations for families of all sizes

Institute of Infinity
Located within the forest by North Campus, this is effectively the political centre for the city, where all the big decisions are made. This is the one part of the city that can not be directly accessible through the Main Plaza

Student Council Office - On the first floor, behind grand mahogany double doors, lies the Student Council Office. It is where the Council will audit any complaints, recommendations, and concerns that the community has.
Office Spaces - Scattered around the first floor are the various offices of each Student Council Member, a personalized space for each of them to work in
Communal Break Room - Somewhere in the Institute, it is rumoured that there is a break room and in that room holds a cupboard that will never empty of delicious sweets. I wonder if that's true
Archives - The entirety of the second to fourth floor is the Institute Archives, kept by the Secretary and the President. No one else has the keys but them, not even the Vice-President
Fifth Floor - A floor only accessible to the President. No one really knows whats kept there
Roof - There's a rumour floating around that at midnight, if you enter the Institute, a sixth floor will appear where the roof is. On the contrary, there is another rumour that at midnight, above the trees, one can see a lone figure standing on top of the roof before falling off of it only to disappear before it even hits the ground.

Nature Points
Located on a unique natural collision of three different biomes, Rakua City has many natural wonders to offer

Grand Forest - The forest lies flush against the city, enveloping parts of it in its lush deciduous trees. Wildlife has long since adapted to living with other humans and are quite friendly with a wide range of flora to be found growing within. Clear trails have been marked out and wandering off them is discouraged but even if you do, you'll soon find a trail anyways.
Sailors Wharf- The westernmost side of the Residential Accommodations lie a flight of stairs that leads down to a beach. This beach offers various amenities such as a swimming area, boardwalk, and boat rentals. Every morning, there is a fisherman's market that occurs, selling high quality fish caught of Rakua's coast. The high variety of fish seems almost impossible but the presence of the market speaks otherwise.
Mountain Trails - On the East lies a gorgeous mountain range that protects the city from harsh weather, keeping everything mild. Trails of all types ranging from simple walks to challenging hikes litter the mountains, offering spectacular views and a chance for citizens to see the great outdoors

Of course these are only the major landmarks! Feel free to explore the glorious city and find out for yourself the wonders that Rakua City offers!
[MORE TO BE ADDED AS THEY'RE FOUND IN RP]

Of course, there is much to be found in this utopian paradise! But first, as is the rule of our city, it is time to go to school!

Live out your youthful lives and remember, your mission is as always, to graduate!

Good luck new resident~

Another Normal Day

*sigh* AnOtHeR normal day... What had she been thinking, accepting the position after mere minutes of receiving the offer? It was probably Dear's eagerness to help others. Or it was Desire's hunt for any form of power. Either way, Emika Eclipsar was in her Student Council Office Space, typing away on a keyboard as her eyes boredly took in information as it either was entered or appeared as a result. It was just another normal day, nothing more...

A whole new day! Eager excitement filled her as she prepared for the day. Ever since becoming enrolled to Rakia Community College, Nightrekra Sharma was as bubbly as soda fizz. The potential of the new place and new faces was thrilling! With a happy pep in her step, she exited her Dorm Room of the North Campus to start the day officially...

It was a nice normal day, where the citizens of Rakua went about their lives without a care in the world. The sky was shining with the perfect amount of stars, light pollution nothing but a words as the clear sky shone through its eternal nightly backdrop. The moon shone with the perfect amount of light, guiding travellers and citizens alike as the lack of clouds meant a clear view of the moonlit paths that glowed under its touch. Nothing was out of place as residents moved through the city at a leisurely pace. Bartering and sales went smoothly while professors set up their lectures for the coming influx of students soon to come. Even in the Institute of Infinity, everything was running as normal with work flowing smoothly between the members of the council.

A loud bang shattered the peace as Pyry, illustrious student council and figurehead of the city, kicked down the perfectly serviceable door to his office, a deranged laugh following him as he waved around a stack of papers positively drenched in ink. "To whoever drained our funds on gacha games of all things, I'm so going to find you and murder you twice over." He cackled, musing up his already bedraggled hair. Another fit of maniacal laughter followed as he stumbled into the wall. "13M gone. Just like that. Whoever did this is so gonna get it, I swear once I get my hands on you!" Adjusting his askew sunglasses, Pyry squinted at the crumpled up ledgers as the letters swam under his shaky vision to see who exactly decided that the most important thing to fund in their city was a gambling addiction. But when the name of the previous secretary treasurer stared back at him, he let out another groan and slumped against the only thing that supported him in the long long years since he had risen to presidency, the good old pristine walls of the institute.

While he was so glad that he had more or less overhauled the previous council and placed much more competent people in their stead, sometimes Pyry still dug up old records that detailed exactly how negligent his predecessor had been. And there was still the matter of the two empty seats that mocked him, the absence of a better secretary treasurer the hardest blow of them all. Pyry was not cut out for finances. "One of these days, I'm gonna take up alcoholism as a hobby." He bemoaned to the empty hallway.

All in all, a regular day in Rakua City

†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†*†

Locking the door to an empty house behind her, Kai let out a breath and adjusted her bag conscientiously. Rakua city was still big and frightening for him, still unused to the winding paths that labyrinthed through the residential area. The main plaza wasn't any better with the filled streets swelling and ebbing like a swollen river, the foot traffic frightening to he who had only lived in small towns up till now. But still, she had school to go to. He wasn't too thrilled about that, but according to the stories, Rakua Community College was actually pretty good despite its designation and offered a varied course selection. Kai wasn't too sure what she wanted to take, but she was holding out the hope that it would at least be nicer than her old high school.

Shuddering at that reminder, Kai hiked his bag up higher on his shoulder and set off towards the main plaza. If she wanted to make it to class on time, well she better start walking.

...

Wait, was he supposed to take a right here or three blocks down?

Phaenna Gratiea
'The Shining Grace'
────────────────────

The frigid air glides through her lips as she inhales deeply. She has always preferred to sleep with the windows open, making her bedroom more like a walk-in freezer. She elongates her body, aligning her spine, and maintains a butterfly stretch for thirty seconds. The tranquility and quietness make it feel like an eternity. Phaenna could easily drift back off into slumber, completely at ease in her position. But she eventually exhales, prepared to embrace another day.

A normal day for Phaenna would consist of waking up early and reciting some of her ballet stretches. The silence of the early morning has always helped her to focus on her body and the movements it made. But, even if she knew she wasn't going to dance that day, she found that the routine helped to relax her, as well as being good practice to keep her in shape.

Despite her whimsical doll-like appearance, Phaenna wields a surprising amount of flexibility and strength, due to partaking in years of Russian-styled ballet lessons throughout her childhood. She had begun her training - pretty much - from the moment she could walk, her parents believing the sport to be able to help develop her etiquette. It had not been an easy path to take, having to constantly work hard through pain to maintain her skills and technique. But, in the end, her efforts were worth it. The strict discipline and intense training had molded her into a graceful and powerful dancer, something Phaenna was proud of.

And that pride radiated from Phaenna, evident in every step she took. With effortless grace, she glided through the streets of Rakua City, her head held high with the unshakable confidence of the Gratiea lineage. The moonlight danced off her flowing locks, casting a mesmerizing glow around her. Her presence was captivating, like that of a wingless angel among mortals.

As she made her way to the city's community college, she sipped the crisp air. Her pace was leisurely, a clear indication of her unwavering self-assurance. After all, it was just another ordinary day for her.

────────────────────

"The sky was clear, the stars hung high overhead,
and the moon was just a sliver, rather than a full moon, so that it proved to be significantly dark out.
However, the coating of snow upon the ground looked bright in the moonlight.”

Whizzing through the hallways like a cloud, Adalia’s sharp eyes scanned the area for lost sheeps.

“Wrong way, dear, class is that way.”

“One more time I catch you attempting to skip class you’ll be attending it with me.”

“Yes darling, you’ll be okay, run along to the medbay, okay?”

“Of course, sweetheart, you’re always welcome in my office”

She hummed quietly to herself as she heralded the first-years along. Being Student Councillor meant that there was little time for slacking, and a lot of time for being a mama bear. Something she definitely didn’t mind. Promises to chat after school were made, smiles were brightened and merry laughter could be heard as students chattered away to each other. All in all, a normal school day.

“One of these days, my dear council president, should you succumb to alcoholism, I will whack you on the head with the book of humankind in Rakua.” Adalia whizzed into the hallway he was complaining to, bringing with her a thermos of freshly brewed apple tea. “And don’t talk to walls, the students will think you’re mad. Anywho. I may not know you well, President Pyry Pythios, but I certainly will stop such foolish acts. So leave the financing to me, I’ll take care of it. Or get something competent enough to. Lest I find you wailing in agony and drowning your sorrows away with alcohol or worse. And perhaps we should fix your office door as well”

Leaning against the lockers, Kimora called out to a group of boys, currently bullying a younger girl. “Pick someone your own size, will you? Or are you so bad at fighting you have to gang up and pick on someone half your size?” She taunted. Dull rose-pink eyes stared them down, a challenging smile on her lips. The boys, obviously furious, tried to lunge at her, only for Kimora to roll her eyes, sidestepping them with ease. “Run along now, class is starting, isn’t it? Wouldn’t wanna be late for class now, would we? After all, it wouldn’t make a good impression on the Student Council~” An empty threat, but effective nonetheless. But too be honest, it might also have been her general appearance and aura- looking like a delinquent that took drugs and beat kids up. The terrified boys scampered away. And with that, ignoring the thanks of the little girl, she walked off to her next class.

Kae Cynthius

Just another day.

Another day of school on that grand campus of Rakua Community College made them feel as small and as insignificant as a star in a constellation. At least it wasn’t too bad, just a few hours of focused hard work and she would be home again. Back in the comfort of the familiar hum of boiling water when she made tea for their foster parents.

She would usually spend the day cleaning or caring for the spidery plants that littered each room. That, or reading various novels and literature; whether it be historic scriptures that would be the prime topic at dinner, or more relaxed fairy tales to their siblings. All three of them.

She had reached a decision of residing in one of the apartments in the Main Plaza, or one of the dorms in the campus if it were possible, when she was eighteen years old. But for the time being, that cosy little bungalow would suffice; more than, in fact. She had been lucky to live with such kind people. Not everyone was as fortunate.

Before reaching a hand to the silvery knob, Kae’s glance flickered to the mirror. An oval shaped object, surrounded by a rim of pale wood and a wavy pattern etched into the grain, reflected their appearance. Thin sandy locks tied away from the face, just touching their left shoulder and framing polished grey eyes that stared back at them. She shivered slightly, but polished the surface with a white sleeve until it sparkled and the material became dull. Habits. Content with the cleanliness of the mirror, she bid the empty house a brief goodbye and slipped through the door.

Just before she tripped on a lace and face planted the floor.

Ah. Another day.

He sighed.

Softly.

Another normal day.

Connor stared at himself in the mirror, one hand to his face, the other holding the razor, the blade pressed against the porcelain sink, as his eyes stared straight at his reflection.

He put a hand to the scar on his neck, flinching ever so slightly.

He stared at himself for a moment longer, spotting the fading streak of white through his dark brown hair.

He closed his eyes, and sighed, before straightening his back, flashing a sunny smile at himself in the mirror.

“Looking good, Murphy!”

He said to himself, putting away the razor and walking out the bathroom, humming quietly.

He passed the window, taking a moment to absently brush his fingers across the glass of the framed picture of his family.

He grabbed his jacket off the coat rack, pulling it around himself, sighing, before he opened the door.

School wasn’t all that great, honestly, but he found joy in the little things. He uttered soft greetings to everyone who bothered to say hi to the walking advertisement, humming a cheery tune, a bright smile on his face as he casually walked through the halls. A clipboard in hand, he calmly walked out of the school buildings, into the courtyard, taking the path up to the Institute of Infinity, a cheerful bounce in his step.

Per usual.

“Sir, alcoholism is a vice you may not want to get into.”

Connor was writing down a checklist in neat, perfect handwriting on his clipboard.

“And, as Adalia stated, you seem quite insane at the moment. Would you like a mint?”

He asked that last question rather cheerfully.
Bubble gum and depression. Those things summed up Brooke Hollis pretty well.

Fruity and depressed.

Brooke chuckled to himself, flicking through his phone, calmly weaving his way through the halls of the campus, heading for his first class of the day, the hand not holding his phone keeping a bag slung over his shoulder by the straps.

It was chaotic and orderly at the same time.

A walking paradox. Brooke quite liked this place.

wickedness?

Or is it
weakness?

Emika's head whipped around when Pyry burst in with a deranged laugh. Wait, did he say drained funds on GACHA games?! Of all things?!? She felt a snarl buzz in her throat, but she kept it in. She caught sight of the papers in the President's hands, with the name of the previous secretary treasurer. That pathetic imbecile..... Letting her bloodlust build up, Emika allowed herself to shift. Bored, cold grey-blue eyes closed and opened into steel grey eyes with an haunting glint in them. Deadly Desire was here to... help~!

Skipping her way to the Rakua Community College Main Campus, Nightrekra kept her eyes moving, taking in the sights happily. There were so many people here! She momentarily stumbled as her leg suddenly spazzed in feeling and caused her to nearly fall. She frowned a little. The stitches were still bugging her nerves, it seemed...

Ah great, now everyone had come flocking to his side. Well, Pyry really should have expected that with how much he was yelling but couldn't a guy be dramatic without everyone asking if he was sane? The answer was very clearly no though which question that would apply to was up to one's discretion. Not even the utopian Rakua would allow for some sorely needed theatrics. "Alcoholism is a perfectly valid way of coping, I'll have you know." He argued weakly, though even his own words seemed feeble against the heavy disapproving stares of his Student Councillor and Events Coordinator. Man, he just had to go and pick people who actually cared about their jobs huh.

Wilting under the combined disapproval and collective concern for his liver's health, Pyry sighed, ruffling his unkempt hair that definitely needed to be brushed out. He really shouldn't have fallen asleep at his desk after showering and the tangles that knotted his rats nest of a hairdo up was its proof. "Well, moving on from my bad life decisions, its almost time for class so.... unless we want to get written up again maybe we should book it?" He suggested with a meek smile to throw the attention off of him, instead choosing to take the offered thermos of tea with a grateful nod.

Take a cautious sniff of it, tense shoulders immediately sagged at the comforting spices that wafted out of the warm container. Gods was he a sucker for freshly brewed apple tea. Any thoughts about murdering the last person who budgeted the city's finances immediately flew out of his mind as he took a nice long dredge of the blissful leaf juice. "Gimmie mint." Came the childish demand as he stuck out his hand, opening and closing it several times to punctuate his point. Disregarding his own words about class starting soon, Pyry practically melted as he lost himself in the bliss that was drinking some damn good tea, expertly brewed by a hand that knew what it was doing. Man, if only for her tea making abilities, boy was Pyry happy that Adalia had agreed to join the council.

Speaking of his council, where was Emika?

That question was swiftly answered when a heavy aura that promised blood and pain emanated from the vice-president's office, rusted steel and sharpened blades replacing the fairly neutral tone that had previously only just settled.

"Ah." He intoned, sipping away at the delicious beverage.

"Listennnnnn, last night, I saw a ghost! I'm not joking, it really happened! You know how my apartment is on the top floor and you can see the whollllleeee forest from there, right? Well I saw a ghost in the forest! A eerie purple glow was moving around the trees but when I went to open my camera app, it disappeared!"

"Girl, are you sure you haven't just been watching too many horror movies?"

"No, seriously! I know what I saw!"

"Hey, I'm just saying. Last week you were saying something about an Institute Ghost or something and now this? Didn't you just watch The Ring a few nights ago too?"

"But the Institute Ghost keeps showing up! I'm serious! I tried checking the ground today but Councillor Adalia directed me back to class. Boooo."

"I'm pretty sure even if you could check, you wouldn't find anything. I mean, a ghost who jumps off the roof and goes poof before going splat? That's just silly."

"Well if you're so sure then sleep over at my place! I'll prove that its all real!"

"Girl, if you wanted to cuddle with me, just say so lol."

Connor quietly dropped a mint into Pyry's hand, smiling kindly. he jumped slightly when the sudden rush of heavy danger fell over him. he took an unconscious step back, rubbing the back of his neck.

"'Ah' indeed, sir."

he muttered quietly, glancing down at his clipboard.

"The vice-president does not seem to be in a good mood today," He said, stating the obvious. He did that a lot.

Connor popped a mint into his own mouth, quietly glancing away.

"-anyways..."

he tapped his pen on his clipboard.

"What are we doing today? Anything out of the ordinary you need me to do?"

“Well, for starters. We need to haul our deranged asses back to class, despite our life on the student council I do think we should quit being so tardy. It really doesn’t do any good to our already crumbling reputation. Though, Connor, might I suggest you help collate a list of things to do today, and distribute evenly the work amongst us? I fear our dear council president would be drowning in paperwork if he dared continue. Force it out or something, heaven knows he’s trying to lighten our loads by biting more than he can chew.” Glancing at the walking, talking, storm cloud that entered, Adalia grinned, dipping into a brief curtsy as a greeting. Looking through the sheaf of papers Pyry possessed, she shuffled through them, tutting and clicking her tongue, before turning to Connor again. “Do you have time to spare? I think, between you and I, we should be able to handle the financial crisis.”

Adalia’s name, whispered, and he heart felt it. A small frown graced her lips. Who was talking about her? She closed her eyes, and thought. Ah, well. No matter, nightmares could be dealt with at a more appropriate time. She had a couple hours till night fell and nightmares came, anyway. And then perhaps she’d bring more tea. Chamomile, when mixed with a little something special, was good at soothing the nerves and improving sleep, anyway.

"Great ideas, Adalia!"

Connor's cheerful smile was back on full display, as he started to flick through the papers on his clipboard.

"Let's see... My schedule seems empty enough, I should be able to get the list done if I just... hm... No, not that."

He scrawled something onto the paper, before nodding to himself.

"I'll get the list done in an hour and ten minutes. In the meantime, you are probably correct once more, Adalia, we really should be getting to class. Don't overwork yourself, sir! If you send yourself to the great beyond, who else will lead us?"

bam.

The door to the classroom slammed open as brooke strolled in, casually, as if he hadn't just kicked the door open. He absently walked over to the seats, taking a seat at the very back of the room, kicking his feet up, absently chewing on his gum as he flicked through his phone.
