War
Thats all we ever knew growing up. I remember as a child being woken up by my father and rushing us to the cellar. I remember seeing armored men strike him down with their sword as he fought to protect his children from them. I remember running into the darkness as the slaughtered my brothers and sisters. But now, here we are, defending A'Oura, the last standing city in the kingdom of Rupratinra. If they break through our walls, Rupratinra will fall. There will be no reignforcements. No one to come to our aid. We are on our own. This will be our tomb. So let us all die, in a blaze of glory

Appearance:
A man with a thin, muscular frame, standing at a respectable 6'2. His hair is a dark shade of brown, and is long and wild, jutting out in curls in every direction, reaching down all the way to his shoulders. He wears thin, half-moon glasses, carefully balanced on the bridge of his nose, with hs eyes being a light shade of blue, with a mischievous twinkle to them. A jagged scar runs across the lower right side of his face, starting above his mouth and ending just before his chin. He wears a dark cloak over a black shirt. His entire outfit is black, in fact, from his cloak to his gloves t his pants to his boots. EVERYTHING. Even his shortsword and shield are made of dark metals and wood, repectively. He usually has a glass of beer in his hand, or has a cigarette stuck in his grinning mouth.
Personality:
A free-spirited, playful character, Kendo doesn't act the part of his outfit. He's a light-hearted trickster who loves hanging out and having fun. He has a nasty habit of smoking and drinking, but his personality never chenges, even if he's drunk and stumbling onto the battlefield. He may seem like a fierce, outspoken man at first, but he's a real softie. He would do ANYTHING for his friends. He has low self-esteem, however, and cares more about others than himself, often going days without a meal, simply to take care of the hurt. He's a well-respected member of the community.
Weapon(s):
He wields a roman gladius, made of a dark metal with no special qualities other than being extremely durable and tough to make weapons with. It's a very good sword. He also has a hatchet that he wields in tandem with his sword. It's just a normal hatchet. Lastly, he has a quarterstaff slung over his back. He's strong enough to wield the staff with only one hand.

Other: At the age of 9, she saw invaders kill her father and siblings before eventually escaping into the woods, where she was taken in by a man named Setanta, who taught her how to shoot a bow and arrow, craft her own weapons from stone, etc. He died when she was 15, but she soon joined the army and soared through the ranks as a great marksman

Appearance: (image preferably, but description is fine as well) Kaori has black hair with purple tips. Her hair is semi-long, and reaches to about her waist. But she normally keeps her hair in a high ponytail, shortening her hair a little. She has a purple butterfly pin in her hair, which is used to keep her hair up. She wears a dark purple dress, which has black designs and white buttons. She has as scabbard at her waist, which holds her dark purple broadsword. She has a black cloak, which has small white designs on the bottom, and goes down to the top of her boots. She has black boots with white laces, and make her a small bit taller. Her normal height is a little short, as she is 5"4, but her boots make her 5"5.
Personality: She is a little shy, not saying much until she believes that she can trust that person. She doesn't have major trust issues, but she does make sure that they are a person that is sincere and okay to trust. When she trusts a person, even a little bit, she is very cheerful (optimist!) and tries to make light of any conversation. When she doesn't trust a person, she is blank-faced, cold as ice.
Weapon(s): She has a dark purple broadsword that she keeps in her scabbard at her waist. Here is some info about a broadsword. Kaori's broadsword is a little different, though. Her sword has a special bottle inside the hilt. A bottle of mild poison. It is Kaori's last resort, and she will only use the poison if her sword breaks, or she is unable to kill her enemy. There is a special latch that she can open to drip the poison onto the blade. But since the poison is mild, it only lasts for 30 minutes before the enemy is able to move again.

Elliot has a youthful face with fair skin from perpetually locking himself in the library and reading as much as he can, blending with his pale blond hair and light eyes. He burns really easily and so wears long layers, coats making up a large portion of his wardrobe. He isn't very tall, his face quite boyish for his age and it is a source of his explosive temper. His attire is formal and stiff, especially when attending social events. When he's alone though, he loves to wear warm and comfortable clothing. Something thats perfect for curling up by the fire and reading a good book or a day spent inside with the people he wants
Personality:
Elliot is proud, hot-headed, outspoken but compassionate and has a gentle nature even if he hides it under hundreds of layers of formality. He presents himself as prim and proper, the proper gentleman that is ready to act at a moments notice, all in an facade to keep his face as someone who once belonged to a house of high standing. His knowledge of battling is extensive and exhaustive but he doesn't like to battle, instead content with just living out a simple life. He is dedicated to his values but when confronted with an experience that challenges his prior knowledge, he is open-minded enough to reassess what he has learnt. Those who earn his companionship are his friends for life, loyal to the end. He is selfless and understands the sacrifices that he needs to make to ensure the safety of others, but he will always hold one person above anyone else

A black rapier emblazoned with his former family's crest. There's nothing special about it other than that, but Elliot still holds it with pride.

Once the third biological son of a high class family, Elliot disowned himself to marry the man of his dreams. He still visits his adopted brothers but lives a life seperate from his birth family

Description: Gold Bangs, and eyes. Usually wore a turtles neck paired of with a traditional robe. Black pants, and boots. A mold under his left eye and whole black gloves.
Personality: Ayran is usually a person who is carefree, mischievous, and always a gentlemen. He is a very humane being, patient in some, while frustrated in others. Once he held onto something, it belongs to him forever. Quite teasing, but knows his boundaries. He is also a germaphobe, thus the reason he wore gloves all the time. Quite stubborn, but knows when to relent when he is in the wrong.

Backstory: Ayran's mother was a prostitute, so it is unknown to him how many half-siblings he have. He doesn't know who his father was, but he is certain that he doesn't want to know. Having gotten enough of the life where he doesn't get treated with respect not only from his mother but others who look down on prostitutes', he ran away. He ran to the mountainside where he met kind people who was willing to bring him in, and teach him the skills that isn't taught anywhere else.
