I was talking to a friend about their art, and they told me something I'm sure every artist has thought before:

"Maybe one day I can be good enough [for people to like my art]"

To all the artists out there, please listen to (or read) this.

You are good enough. But there is always room for everyone to be better.

Theres a better way of looking at it. Think of it as maybe one day you will reach the point you wanna get to, whatever that may be. And thats only a maybe because you have to keep at it and put in the work for it. There is no objectively "good" point to reach in art, because art is subjective, meaning its all in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has their own style. I have a more anime-esc style, while some others like my old friend Venom have a more realistic. Heck, theres art in The Louvre thats just colorful lines or dots. All you have to make is something thats your own, instead of trying to be someone youre not, and as long as you're happy, then that's what makes it art

Hey everyone, I've got some unfortunate news. I've debated saying anything so as to not worry y'all, but due to the current situation, I feel I have to give a bit of insight.

Recently, I was diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctors say that its likely from secondhand smoke when my mom and dad were really bad smokers, and while it is very early and can be mitigated, it's still causing me problems. I've started treatment to hopefully reverse the growth of the cells, however, it leaves me fatigued and unable to get out of bed some days.

Because of this, i will be stepping down as host of this years Oscars. I do not have the energy nor time that is needed for the event, and thus cannot perform my duties to the best of my ability.

That being said, they are not cancelled. The team I got together is still working hard on the event, and will hopefully give you all a show youll love, though the stream is likely not happening.
