"Ahhh, the potentials..." Valeria starts sketching on a separate paper. Well, sketching is an overstatement, because when looking on the paper, it's all full of equations and symbols and everything.

Kaori carefully moved the flower pot with the seed in it to her desk. Turning away from everybody else, she carefully hovered her right hand over the seed and chanted slowly under her breath. She moves her hand back and forth, left to right. Continuing to chant under her breath, she started her spell, and the seed started to sprout slowly.

When was everyone going to come? Hecate had already almost finished her book, she reached into her bag and pulled out her own book :Deep dark magic and the ways it’s used. She levitated it out of her bag with telekinesis, the school’s staff needed to be told to hurry up 100%. Hecate wondered is Cath and Kendo had known each other beforehand, they seemed to like each other enough to talk within themselves. She preferred to keep to herself unlike those giggling girls from the good school.

Valeria was about to show her complicated equations, when the door closed with an audible, but not strict, thud. An elderly woman entered, looks about the mid-40s with streaks of grey in her otherwise blonde hair and wearing a vine-patterned dress.

"Good morning new students. Welcome to your first class on the School of Good, where you will be taught and raised to become heroes or princesses. Or teachers, if you play your cards right." She chuckles at her own joke a bit, her laughter sounding like several instead of just one. "Oh, sorry, I never introduced myself, did I? I am Miss Peri and these are my friends." From under her dress, a few small fairy-like creatures emerge and giggle, as they make it themselves comfortable on a bonsai tree nearby.

"But enough of me. Who would like to be the first to introduce themselves to the rest of the class?"

"I'll go first. I'm Athena Luminia Lediana, daughter of Aurora, or more commonly known as Sleeping Beauty." Athena internally grimaced at this. She had no intention of following her mother's footsteps, or becoming any traditional princess for that matter. Heck, she didn't even look like her mother! Ok fine, maybe she did. Mostly. But not the wings. And quoting herself, "There are many differences that anyone with a acceptable eyesight would be able to discern."

Still, she kept a smile on her face like she was totally ready to sleep for 100 years and wait for a true love's kiss. That sounded totally ridiculous.

"Impressive. Well, with a background like that, I might as well raise the bar for things to come, hm? I heard good things about your mother." Miss Peri gave a slight chuckle, the fairies behind giving her thumbs up. "Well, I forgot to mention that but... if you have any form of preferred pronouns or names we shall refer to you as, tell them now so I can note them myself. You know, having thirty new faces every year to memorize isn't a cakewalk." She gives a warm smile towards Athena, before looking back at the class.

Kaori turned away from her spell. Oh, right! I need to introduce myself! she thought and quickly hid the plant behind her back. She turned towards the class. "Hi, I'm Kaori. Um. . . I like gardening and plants, and that's it!" she said, shyly. She really did hate presentations, introductions, etc. They all forced her to say something that is memorable, confident, and relevant. Kaori? Well, Kaori was not memorable, confident, or relevant to anything. Most of what she cared about was her plants, and her studies, and rarely her friends, because she didn't have any.
Turning back to her plant, which she had hid behind her, she continued the spell, growing the plant to be a couple inches high.

Miss Peri was not surprised at Kaori's briefness and makes a small hand gesture, as a fairy went from her bonsai tree to Kaori's plant, patting it a little and blessing it with some of her own magic. "Well, that's certainly a way. Let's make sure you get to feel comfortable during class, yes?" After dismissing Kaori, it was Valeria's turn.

The girl simply stood up and walks to the front of the class, turning around and nodding. "Greetings. I'm Valeria G-..." Short pause. "... I'm Valeria. But some just call me Val. I'm into making potions, tending to plants and my hobbies include reading books and making perfumes. I hope we all get along wonderfully!" She walks back, leaving a surprised Peri behind.

"Two girls with plant knowledge. I'm sure friendship between you two will just blossom!" She giggles, though a quick glance later at the attendance sheet, Miss Peri's look at Valeria was one of confusion. Though only brief, as she went back to normal. "Good, three introductions should suffice for today. We do another three tomorrow. Well, how about we do the organizational things first." She takes a few papers and hands them out to everyone. "This is your timetable. Best memorize it, some of the older teachers are still very conservative."

Athena thanked Miss Peri and took the timetable. Memorizing it was easy enough, a quick glance and she slipped it into a gray binder labelled 'General'. There were many others in her bag, one for each subject.

Kaori bowed a thanks, and skimmed her schedule. Sighing at the fact that there wasn't that many herbology/gardening/etc classes, she carefully put it in a plastic sheet made out of leaves, not plastic, and put the plastic/leaf sheet in the front page of her green leaf-book. She carefully pulled out her tote bag of vines and leaves, and put her leaf-book inside the bag gently. She picked up the pot, thanked the fairy for it's help, and encased the pot, and placed that inside her tote, too.

Valeria looks over to Kaori, looking a little surprised. "You... seem to love plants a lot, don't you?" She gives a little chuckle, looking at her Silviculture book again. "Hmmm..." She takes repeated glances at the bag, then into her book, before switching to the Horticulture one.

Miss Peri smiles a bit and shows the top-most thing. "With that, I welcome you to my class: Faerie Familiar 101. Where we learn to not just accept fairies and magic but learn how to utilize them proper. Now, who here has a magic ability they'd like to share."

"I can speak to animals." Athena preferred to keep her telepathy secret, and no one suspected in the slightest that she had more powers than what she let on. Though her mother knew that she had wings, but that was another matter. People were easily distrustful when they met a telepath, and it was just much simpler to have everyone think she was as normal as the rest of them. And being a secret telepath did mean she could play pranks and convince people easily.

"Mostly convincing animals to help me, and gaining insight which otherwise wouldn't be accessible." It was a boring power to be honest, telepathy and flight were thousands of times more exciting, but of course Athena tried to make it sound as interesting and useful as possible. Not that there was much to say.

"Not bad, not bad. Well, you see, your powers are a gift from magic. And it would be a shame to waste it." Miss Peri turns to her bonsai tree, picking up a fairy and letting it rest on her hand. "We all have wondrous powers, right? You with your animal telepathy, I'm guessing Kaori has plant powers and I can see through every lie. Powers vary in strength but make sure to put them all to good use!" She exclaims proudly, smiling down at Athena.

Miss Peri nods, going to the blackboard and sketching a little bit. Thinking, she smiles back at the whole class. Don't worry. She said in her own mind, thinking to "herself". I won't tell anyone about you hiding your powers. ... she wasn't telepathic. What the-?!
