This RP is inspired by Hawk by James
Patterson, and partially by -NeoSanchez-'s RP Shades of Gray. Yes, plagiarism is my favorite
tool! So, you are one of the many citizens of Crumbling Ruins.
Why is it called Crumbling Ruins? Take a look around, now you know.
This once great city is dying, yet thousands still call it home.
The government, you ask? Well, from the state of this city, you can
probably guess how good of a job they do. They are mysterious,
ruling behind the scenes, and anyone who dares to oppose them
disappears. At least most of those who oppose them. There are
exceptions, you may be one of them, no? The visible rulers of the
city are the gangs. I do not wish to imply racism with the
gang names, they are either common
names of their culture, or just a random jumble of letters. The
Smiths rule the north, the Hus rule the east, the Hemleks the
south, and the Glilinars take the west. The gangs are often at war
with each other, peace is an alien idea. So, will you survive? Or
will you perish?

Part of a gang?: Suko doesn't hold any particular allegiance, working as a bounty hunter outside of the gangs, but has a particular one they work with. Since, well... they've worked there for so long, the other gangs might not like them much.
If part of a gang, which one?: The Glilinars. Suko doesn't care for them and often works outside for various parties as a sniper.
Personality: Suko is a cheerful, mischievous person who lives in the moment. Their self-sacrificing nature is largely contradictory with their self-absorbed and oblivious behaviour. Somewhat amoral.
On the surface, Suko is primarily focused on their own feelings and disregard the existence of other people's. They have a tendency to treat others with pragmatism, while also paying a little too much attention to their own mental health. "I need to focus on keeping myself okay so I can continue on." while also treating others with a "Why can't you just do this? Jeez, man." However, they do focus heavily on social situations, and tend to be more self-sacrificing then even they realize.
They frequently act as if they are on the verge of hysteria. While these hysteric jokes are usually rude, Suko steers clear of offensive topics. That is, until they are put in a bad situation. When in grim or serious atmospheres, Suko's humour turns dark. It often has negative effects on themself and others and doesn't seem to be fully genuine. While they are quick to recover and turn their focus to relationships and gossip, their excessive levity often damages the bonds they form.
Overall, a chaotic person who's just a bit too messy to have healthy relationships.
Deep down, Suko's primary motivation is "living". They take this just a bit too seriously- determining that they have to live in the moment to make the most of their time, and also prioritizing their own life.
Suko's greatest secret is that they are dying of a disease called Pulmonary Fibrosis. They're in deep denial about this, and are quick to preserve their own life above everything else. They love people, but the idea of death terrifies them, and no matter what, they come first. The mission is abandoned immediately if their own life is in danger. Anyone else can die so long as Suko lives.
Developing bonds with others is only a simple aspect of this. They refuse to waste a moment, pushing and pushing people to grow affectionate of them, and then demanding too much emotional compensation.

Appearance: Suko has light brown skin. Their hair is a shaggy brown mess that goes down to their shoulders. They often tie it back in various creative ways, that have a tendency to be just a little too weird. Their eyes are electric blue, noted to be a little unsettling, in particular with contrast to their solid shape and slightly dark skin. They are of an average height and are somewhat stocky.
They wear a black turtleneck and a worn winter coat with a fluffy hood. Black combat boots.

Backstory: Suko grew up in an upper-class family. They were often the prized child- smart and strong. A jock, a genius, a popular child all around. That was, until the day of their diagnosis. And everything they built left them in the dust. No matter what they did, they could never achieve it ever again. Exertion made it worse faster, and every time they went home, they just saw their parents' smiles wane- something they hadn't even realized was fake until it was conditional.
They stole their father's gun and ran away from home, deciding to become a bounty hunter. Like most things, they turned out to have a natural talent in sharpshooting- and quickly became renowned for their diligence. They found that ending human lives didn't bother them much at first-
I'll join them soon, and they can have their revenge.
The thought often came up and terrified them, so they threw themself into their work, pushing the idea to the back of their mind. They primarily work for the Glilinars now- and a few private clients.
They're somewhat famous as the "Cat-Eyed Sniper."

On The Surface, Kendo seems laid-back and chill, like the ice he manipulates. He usually has a lazy smirk on his face, and constantly laughs and makes jokes. He prefers to be upfront in the midst of battle. He seems like a kind person. Underneath, he isn't the most trustworthy individual. He is manipulative, pulling the strings on every major battle and event he has been a part of. He is sneaky, conniving, and a schemer. Quite charming, being both handsome and friendly. No one knows his true name, instead being called by multiple nicknames, making it much harder to track him down.

Kendo is tall, standing at an impressive 6'5, with a thin, but well-built, frame. His hair is a dark shade of brown, messy and long, reaching down to his shoulders, often tied up into a ponytail. His smile is lazy, his skin tan. A long leopard tail trails behind him. He wears a dark jacket, zipped up with the hood on. Underneath he wears a tattered gray shirt. His pants are long, frayed at the ends, baggy, and a dark navy-blue. He wears combat boots.
Backstory: A man in constant search for new places to... have fun in. He is chaotic, and enjoys watching fights. He has caused several wars.
