Within a few minutes, he was asleep.

(Side note, I realized almost every character in the RP is under 5'7 and Kendo is just towering over them at the height of 6'2)

A long time ago, when "Kendo" was a child, and before becoming a Nexus Guard knight, He was a common street rat, who stole and fought and stabbed his way to the top until the commander of the Nexus Guard took notice after they captured him.

How had this 10-year-old child incapacitated many of the guard's finest men? The child had a natural talent for combat. Armed with only a dagger and his inhuman speed he managed to take out 2 fully grown men before he was captured. After that, the Captain of the Nexus Guard took him under his wing, training "Kendo", or rather, Neo, in the way of the knight.

Neo quickly fought his way to the top, overcoming every obstacle. Then came the only case he did not solve. Capturing the girl named "Prophet." He was sent out of commission for a while after being incapacitated by some members of the criminal underworld, then was sent to The AGI to train. Then his life turned around. He became popular. He got friends. Life was fun. Though, Neo had the feeling it wouldn't last.

Of course, he was right. The start of the second year came. On the very first day, he did a number of insane things. After mulling it over the summer, he (kind of?) came out and confessed to his best friend. Then he met the person whose lackeys had caused him to be unable to do his job for almost a year. Then she said she'd been trying to change. Sure. Whatever. Neo didn't really trust it. Then said friend, who he knew had feelings for him was playing hard to get. Neo decided at that moment, as he slept, he was gonna do something. If his friend played hard to get, Neo would just have to leave. He wouldn't be waiting forever for Theo after all. He would move on. he had things to do. Though that was a last resort. He also decided that he would forgive Prophet for her dark past, and let bygones be bygones. They were not so different after all. It was just that Neo got luckier than her. If he hadn't been saved by the Nexus Guard Captain, who knows? Maybe he would've ended up like her. And, she seemed like a nice person in general. He didn't really care about the evil spirit with her anyways.

(Ararora is like 6 feet and a bit, probably taller with her tail factored in)

The reptile lady fell asleep in the library as well, her tail emitting a soft red hue, reminding one of campfire. She even made low growling sounds, like a newly hatched dragon of sorts, sleeping under one of the tables. Being a bit of a sleep walker, the humanoid animates and starts crawling around, low profile like a chameleon.

Theo shifted a bit in his sleep, then woke up noticing Kendo. He felt a little bad. Love is hard. Complicated. Do I really have feelings? He took out his writing journal, writing something down then closing it and putting it back into his bag.

... reptiles. They're a funny bunch. Have lots of unknown powers too, or rather dormant ones. One of which includes their affinity for sounds. Well, during the daytime, they can resist the urge to dance and run but when barely conscious, they behave more akin to moths to light. As such, Ararora was now directly next to Kendo and Theo, still a low profile and her soft light shining on the two... almost like candlelight.

You know the first rule in combat? Shoot them before they shoot you.

Theo couldn't resist the urge to smile at Kendo. He noticed something nearby, but didn't pay too much attention. he's like, half asleep, he doesn't pay attention to what's going around him that much.

Ararora's eyes where closed but the emotional tension between the two was felt, even in her sleepy state... but she didn't do much to either help or hurt it, instead just laying down in a circle, making soft growls again... her lit tail now between their faces and dimming a bit, they only see each other now.

The sound of a door creaking. It was enough, Ararora follows Kendo, her light getting to a campfire level again.
