Hands down my favorite starter is Cyndaquil (also the H Cyndaquil). There's something about him that I've always really liked and his H form made Typhlosion an even bigger favorite. Who does not love thet derpy face!
A close second would be Mudkip, but only in baby form.

Favorite legendary would have to be Lugia, closely followed by Suicine.
