Luther's eyes narrowed at that. "Oh. I see." He stepped a little to the side. "I think I'd rather stay with you. Keep an eye on the place." His gaze was calm, but his eyes had a strange glitter to them-

"If the killer is here, I can't let you be alone... now can I?"



"My dear, I saw you, my poor old friend sitting here all alone! And no one should ever be doing such a tragic thing. Particularly a friend of mine." He smiled disarmingly. "Basic Pokémon empathy, you see, is not lost on me."

Luther yelped, ripping his tail out of her grip. "Don't touch me," he snapped pulling back. "I'll follow you." He narrowed his eyes again.

"The others..?" His voice was soft, gentle, nay a whisper on the breeze, flowery and light. Soothing. Comforting, almost. On weak-minded Pokémon, it might even seem fatherly. "Others...?" he prompted again.



Luther stared down at the flower. There was something in his expression- something odd. Something angry. Maybe even feral. "No thank you," he mewed politely. "I don't need it."

Willow stared at Luther. Perfect. She hopped down, stayed in the shadows, and started using her signature move. Her cloak perfectly disguised her in the shadows.

Careful, his mind warned. You could be dealing with a highly erratic, mentally unstable murderer. "Hey, slow down a bit," he said, careful not to meet her gaze.
