"Woah!" Luna signed, "Did you make that? It's amazing!" She
realized that Therese might ask her if she had an instrument, but ,
Luna had only asked to change the subject. "Do you think you could
teach me?" Luna asked.
I have no friends due to the massive hole in my heart. Would you
consider being the one to plug up the hole of feeling?
"Unlikely... it's a prototype, nobody else knows even what this
sounds like." Therese admitted, looking away a little embarassed.
"I... prefer to stay inside, but my family insisted that I learned
to play music, to show my refined nobility. But I was too big for
any traditional one... so I made my own and added my own flair to
it." She puts the guitar next to Luna, which shows it reaching to
her shoulders, and when she attached the Kanaille to the tip, she
made it as tall as Luna herself. "Though... maybe we can play
together some day."
A strange moment of silence... before a voice came up. "You seem
unwell." The voice, it was... a little strange. Though definitely a
female one, it had weird pronounciation and the s was surprisingly
sharp. Therese went beet red almost instantly, before signing
again. "Sorry, I... am not used to speaking. But you... heard me."
She tilts her head and puts her hand on Luna's shoulder, signing
with one hand. "You okay?"
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
Juzi looked down from the branch, her eyes watching the grass sway.
"Oh...They've all gone..." she muttered, jumping down from
the tree with Ezria close behind. "C'mon Ezria, let's go find
some people" she said, beckoning to her fox and walking away
from the tree.
Elliot jolted awake, breathing hard. "Just a dream..." he
said to himself. Taking deep breaths, he began walking towards a
pond near him to try to relax, as nobody had told him where to go.
"I'm not stupid, I'm just too lazy to show how smart I
am." - Oreki Houtarou
Therese felt something off with Luna. Which is when she played one
riff with her instrument, a powerful one at that. It was a simple
accord but was a lot deeper than usual riffs and let Luna's hair
spike up as well, as some metals now shoved themselves closer to
her. Her expression now read something else entirely, going from a
shy blush to... a pouting glare. "You okay?" She asked one more
time, while plucking some strings one at a time.
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
“No, no. I meant your training, not Toffee’s. I heard you were
fighting Sir Filsch? Or was it the other one….let me see….what was
his name now. Tell me about your fight.” Thalia says. She sends
Midnight to venture into the forest and explore while she talked to
Kynik, sensing Midnight’s restlessness. She knew the dark elemental
could take care of herself
If wind magic transmitted sound, light magic transmits, well,
light. Often called clairvoyance, this ability is the cornerstone
of any war. However, searching without a particular target is
equivalent to asking for your head to explode from all the
information.
Using said clairvoyance, Samton looked for his 'classmates' whom he
had met prior. Some saw it as advance scouting, but Samton just saw
it as introduction.
"NO, OF COURSE I'M NOT!" Luna snapped. Her expression suddenly went
back to shy and confused. "What did I just say?" She signed. "I
think it's the flower. If you don't mind, could you stop playing?"
I have no friends due to the massive hole in my heart. Would you
consider being the one to plug up the hole of feeling?
Therese flinched, backing off a little and throwing the bass onto
her bed and then onto the flower. "Can it be... that you're
sensitive to electricity...?" She signed, her hands trembling and
her face looking a little frightened. "Or... am I... harming you?"
When signing that, tears started to roll down her cheek, her
tremble only getting worse.
"No, no, no!" Luna signed, "I'm a water mage, so, I am sensitive to
electricity, you're not hurting me!" Luna looked at Therese, both
scared and sympathetic at the same time. She gave Therese an
awkward hug, hoping to calm her.

Therese went back to blushing, a little stunned by the hug before
returning the favor and hugging Luna tightly. "Thank... you." She
whispered, her voice sounding euphonious and a little stuttering.
Mira had found herself stumbling out of the inn she had stayed in
the night previous as she made her way to the academy. She wasn’t
the biggest fan of large gatherings and for this reason she was
coming a little late to skip the entrance ceremony. It seemed the
meeting had dispersed a bit when arrived, so she started to walk
through the s academy. Navigation wasn’t her strong suit and so she
had to rely on a map to give herself somewhat of a tour. She found
herself walking along the lake while having her face deep in the
map.
"O-oh, right. That." The boy shuffled in his seat, starring
back down at the river and its opening on the lake. It seemed he
may feel as though he had embarrassed himself a little. He felt his
ears get a little hot and reached up to subtly pull on the one
closest to his conversation partner. It would cool down the longer
he talked. "It was a team of 5. Tien, Riley, Samton, Elliot, and
I. Samton was using earth magic on the ground to mess with his
footing. We tried a couple things but in the end he fell for my
feint and got caught by Tien and Samton in a pincer."
Kynik looked back down, fiddling with the grass between his
fingers. "Sir Fisch certainly wasn't happy about it. He made the
rest of the knights class work with golems instead of continuing
his group battles. Well... Up until the golems fell apart and they
canceled classes for the day." The boy pulls up a rather thick
blade, pinching it between his fingers to fold it in half.
The plant was brought to his lips with a tight blow, causing a note
to whistle out. He readjusted the tightness, changing the pitch
when a second note was played.
Thalia smiles. “It seems as if Sir Filsch was irritated by the fact
that you guys won. To be expected, of course, he was beat by a
bunch of students. That’s a nice tune, by the way.” Thalia picks up
a bunch of grass blades, weaving them together in a intricate
braid. She points to Mira, Tien and Samton, the three of them
walking towards the lake. “Look over there”
Kynik nodded. "To be fair, it was not expected for students to
win against a Royal Guard in his prime even with a team of 5. From
his perspective, his pride may have been hurt." The feeling of
cool grass against his skin, he continued playing with the
makeshift reed instrument. Though only a short time elapsed before
her voice rang out again and he looked over, following the
direction in which she had pointed.
He squinted holding a hand above his eyes. "There is no surprise
in seeing other students outside." He blinked but held his
position, still actually visibly interested despite his statement.
"It's a nice day but then again after the physical exertion of
the early day, most of them are likely in the common quarters of
the dorms. I wonder if they have board games in there. Some of them
probably brought cards as well."
"It appears Miss Feyrer has already
noticed us." "Wonderful, is it not?"
Samton walked up to Kynik and Thalia and gave a slight bow,
greeting them. "Greetings. I hope we're
not intruding."
Saying this, Samton smiled at them.
Luna smiled,"I think we can be great friends. It'll benefit both of
us. I'll stop being shy and cold. It's easier to get your voice
back if there's someone you can talk to comfortably."
I have no friends due to the massive hole in my heart. Would you

After scanning the map, Mira had decided she wanted to go to the
dorms and specifically the magic field. Even though it was her
first day and she should be settling in, training helped relax her.
This wasn’t too easy for her, as she wasn’t the best with
directions. She continued walking and found herself a few feet from
Thalia, Samton, and Kynik. She waited politely to ask for
directions and to not intrude on the conversation.
