“Mordred...? Are you ok...?” Emerald looked at her worried as he
guided her onto a bubble and started brushing her fur. Where was
her usual spunk...? Her energy...? He was extremely worried for
her. He was working himself trying to take care of his
three...patients
She didn’t hesitate with the response. “Tired.” Though she’d been
sleeping so much recently, this answer didn’t seem like a lie.
There was certainly something wrong, though she didn’t seem to want
to admit it.
He narrowed his eyes. Taking a few paces away from the thorn, he
watched it expectantly. He prepared for something or someone to
spring out of it in some strange fashion.
Winter sort of just lazily watched as Emerald spoke with the
Theivul. He was feeling much better after the rest and treatment,
and his hazy vision seemed to have cleared
“Geez...you have to tell someone if something’s wrong, we can
help!” Emerald pulled Winter a little closer to him as he said so,
while looking at Mordred
There was no sound from the figure instead, all it did was raise a
paw. A small burst of dark thorns shot towards Veil
She sighed into his fur. “I don’t think even I can help. I’m
sorry..” The Theivul trailed off, her shoulders drooping.
Veil reacted fast. Holding his arms up to use protect, he held the
white shield against the thorns. He narrowed his eyes, moving
slowly towards the hooded figure.
Mordred nodded in response and smiled slightly, looking at him
proudly.
“Diversæn.” Veil grunted, two medium-large plant monsters
which were a bit taller than himself appeared at his sides, large
green gaping jaws, sharp leaves and long thorned vines whipping the
purple ones as a means of defending Veil. The Drizzile used swift
when no vines were attacking him, backing away until he was behind
the monsters.
"C'mon...Shall we head out to the hospital...? I believe we can
still get there...and we can do some investigating while we're
there too..." Emerald suggested. "The recent events...they're
abnormal..." He looked at the trio of pokemon with him. Mordred,
Clamor and Winter
The thorns struck the plants, and as though they were poisoned, the
plants slowly withered as though an acting poison had the plants at
it's grip. Still the figure commanded the dark thorns to continue
raining. Though the figure hadn't actually moved itself
Thea had commanded all those at the plaza to investigate the
castle. It had to be done
Margo Hadn't really payed attention to the Pokémon that were close
to her, but when the battle started, Margo leaped in to help. She
knew on sight that the hiding drizzle what the one she needed to
help. She had already turned invisible, and snuck around behind the
attacker. She hoped that the noise of the battle going on would
distract it, so she threw a Quick Attacked Shadow Ball at it,
hoping to confuse it.
“Come on Wints!” Emerald picked up the Vulpix gently and carried
him on his back. “We’ll get you fully healed there!”
He looked at Mordred. “There’s Clamor too...”
The figure was distracted by Margo...giving Veil an opportunity.
The figure prepared an orb above them
At the mention of Clamor, Winter turned his head from where he was
on Emerald's back. He took notice of a Luxio. "Is that the guy that
was watching you?" He asked, rather tiredly.
Margo still felt the mana inside. She knew that if she tried, she
could make it. She sucked in a breath, and jumped up over the
Protect. She fired Confuse ray at the mysterious Pokémon. Even
though she half expected it to do nothing, she knew it was still
worth a distraction. She hit earth again beside the Drizzle
Emerald nodded. “That’s the one!” Emerald then carried Winter out
with him towards the hospital...beckoning Mordred to follow him
The figure paused for a moment. “...” it then summoned black vines
to lash out once more at them. These vines were thinner, without
thorns, but more numerous
Margo hissed quietly. It would be very hard indeed to fight this
Pokémon. She Whispered in the Drizzles ear. "Follow me and put down
your protect. And try to stay low. Just trust me." Margo used the
mana again to throw the blanket of Invisibility over the two of
them, and began to creep away slowly, hoping the Drizzle would
follow.
