Winter used ice beam on the ground, quickly using his small size to
slip between the breeloom's legs, grabbing a shard still intact
from the ground. Whipping around, her wielded the blade in his
mouth, using his frozen breath to strengthen it. He was painfully
aware his opponent was strong, so he'd stick to his
tricks...luckily the breeloom was big enough that Winter's small
size could be of an advantage
Margo nodded and went to retrieve her friend. As she picked up Leo,
she threw the invisibility over both of them, still not
understanding Emeralds need for secrecy. and she ducked into the
alleyway, she became visible again and sat down, dropping Leo, to
let him explore the alleyway. "Why do we need to be private?"
whispered Margo to Emerald. Her iris was shimmering a very bright
shade of gold however, because inside, she was secretly happy to
have a potential new friend.
Winter
The Breloom kept calm as it tracked Winter. It hadn’t decided to
attack yet.
Margo
“So we can continue this conversation without being attacked~.”
Emerald said happily. He formed an aura bubble and sat down on it
in front of her, causing the bubble to jiggle and squeak
Margo laughed quietly at the riolu. she now realized that it wasn't
actually that old, and playful at that. Her iris pulsed and seemed
to glow softly with golden light, and Margo rather enjoyed the
feeling running through her at the current moment. "It's ok, you
dont have to worry. If we got attacked, I could get you to safety
using invisibility. and I'm pretty strong so i bet I could carry
you a short distance." She sat down, eyeing Emeralds bubble
enviously. She watched Leo out of the corner of her eye, and took a
battery out of her pack. She tossed it to him, and whispered "You
can eat that if you want."
Margo
“I’m no slouch in a fight either you know?” Emerald said
cheerfully. He saw her eyeing the bubble, and grinned. “Oh?
Interested?” He made a large bubble spring up beneath Margo. It
felt really soft and squishy
Margo's mouth opened in an "O" shape and she bounced up into the
air, laughing softly. she twisted up and around to land on her feet
in the bubble, then almost fell off and dug her claws into it. The
shiny umbreon whisper yelled as it popped under the stress of her
sharp claws, and she sat down hard, her iris mixing quite a bit of
pink in with the gold. "I'm sorry..." apologized Margo, a bit
sheepishly.
Margo
Emerald was giggling as emerald green sparkles were flung upwards
in the area from the popped bubble. “The look of shock never fails
to be funny, but you enjoyed it, right?” He formed another one,
this one unpoppable, and helped her onto it
Margo's eye lost the pink as she climbed back onto the bubble. It
wobbled, but made no sound until she stepped directly into the
middle of it, and it squeaked. It startled her so much she bounced
sideways off of it, and almost landed on Leo. But he was to busy
eating the batterie to notice anything. The umbreon shook herself
and got back onto the bubble, letting nothing surprise her this
time. she settled comfortably into it, and finally replied to
Emerald's question. "It was fun." She thought for a moment. "wait,
I cant pop this one, right?" and she instantly retracted her claws
as far back into her paws as they would go. It was a bit
uncomfertable.
Margo
Emerald nodded. “Feel free to dig your claws into this one~. But
it’s not gonna pop.” He walked forward and gave this bubble a goid
wobble, making it wobble beneath her stomach
Outside the alleyway, the fighting had moved a little bit. Still,
it was fairly small, but both knights and rebels have been given
the order to attack on sight
Fortem padded past the pokemon who had tried to console the absol.
Not because he didn't think they would be friendly enough (their
interactions with the absol had proven that they were), but because
he recognised the absol as a loyalist and assumed that if they were
friends, they might be neutral pokemon as well.
Audax, naturally, approached the library. Of course, as a bookworm,
he was curious to see how grand the library of luminia's great
castle was. Reading might help him brainstorm up some ideas, and he
might be able to find some more neutral pokemon as well...
Clamor nodded at the shinx with a smile. He reminded him of himself
a while ago, actually. He stepped onto the battlefield, flicking
his tail for the blue and black pokemon to follow him.
Fortem
"Let's see here...what is this...Ryn...?" Conall padded past
Fortem, holding a piece of paper. He turned back to nod in greeting
to him before he continued onwards. Something seemed off.
Thea was holding a letter also...
Audax
The library was grand of course, larger then the public libraries
available in Luminia, rich in books of all genres. There was a
Shiny Leafeon, trying to get a book off of the shelves. Upon closer
inspection, there seemed to be shelves with books missing.
Clamor
The Shinx bounded along excitedly with him, excited to train
Fortem reckoned he wasn't supposed to be involved with this... but
then again, luminia probably wasn't supposed to be having a civil
war, so he chose to try putting together the pieces. He didn't see
Ryn at that moment... maybe she was somewhere else in the school...
or outside. The letter could be important... Fortem didn't want to
ask directly about it, so he just nodded back at Conall and
observed.
Audax marvelled at the library, but couldn't help but making
another connection to the civil war. It was cool that the castle
had the library in the first place... but didn't only knights and
royals get access to it? Those were mostly just castle-born
pokemon, something that was completely out of their control. Didn't
castle-born pokemon who had access to education and resources like
this library have a much better chance at getting ahead at life?
Just a couple months ago, he was working almost minimum wage at
Remus's... no offense to Remus of course. It was a fun job, but
sometimes he found himself wishing for a little more. He'd drifted
off though... snapping back to the present, he noticed the leafeon,
and was reminded of Lumi a bit: another shiny eeveelution. Maybe
there was a connection, or maybe it was a coincidence. Whatever the
case, Audax pushed over a nearby stool. "Maybe this will help?" He
offered.
Clamor squared up and waited for the shinx to strike first. Most
pokemon would assume they'd be stronger than any of their
preevolutions, but Clamor had heard of many cases where believing
this made a pokemon get cocky and lose, caught off guard, so Clamor
had to stay alert. Though he was bigger, the shinx was probably
quite fast as well, and would be able to dodge attacks more easily
because of his size.
Fortem
“Hey Fortem?” Thea padded over to him. “Is everything alright?” She
looked over at him and looked up at the ceiling
Audax
“Hm?” The voice was male. “Mmn...no I’m fine for now, thank you
anyways...” He went back to looking for books. It was a little but
before. “...You’re a knight right?”
Margo's ears flipped sideways towards the joltik and he finally
chewed open the batterie, and sparks crackled loudly. Margo wanted
to test something on her bubble. she flopped off of it, and backed
up a ways. she took a running jump, and landed on the bubble. The
blue umbreon shot skywards, like a trampoline, but bouncier. Margo
hit the bubble, and she let it bounce her a couple more times,
before she decided it was enough. She settled herself into the
bubble, making it squeak a bunch. "So, are you a knight?" she asked
Emerald quietly. "I saw you coming out of the arena, pretty smug
lookin'. I'm assuming you won a battle."
Margo sighed. "You never know these days. Just today, I had a
sparing match against a Lairon. I mean, I've NEVER seen a Lairon or
Aron in knights armor. it was always lagrons. They're much more
powerful." She shook her head, then tried -and failed- to hold back
a quiet laugh as the bubble tickled her stomach.
"Hmm? Oh yeah, just looking around..." Fortem responded to the
umbreon. He supposed he did look pretty distracted... he should
work on acting more nonchalant so guards and other pokemon asked
him this less.
"In training," Audax confirmed, after a second of hesitation. He
was still getting used to that; after all, he'd only been knighted
a day ago. "I'm Audax," He introduced.
Clamor dodged to the side. Yep, the pokemon was quite speedy. He
whipped around, trying to kick the shinx and missing, before using
take down.
