Xatina nodded. "Yeah, I suppose-I'm just not very good at talking
about that sort of thing. If I just get back to work, there will be
nothing to worry about!" She tilted her head and smiled. "But it's
nice to think about that. Either way, I should probablly get back
to protecting all of you from the Republicans." Truth be told,
sometimes it felt like fighting was the only thing Xatina could do
and feel as if she was doing it right. That was one good thing
about being a knight-she could fight honorably. The Loyalists were
the ones in the right, but it would take time to make the other
side see that.
Winter approached the fighting cautiously. He didn't know what to
expect, being in the middle of a war. He barely noticed if there
were eyes on them, focusing on possibly addressing whatever
squabble was over here.
Margo sat up slowly as the feeling of being watched left. She
heaved a sigh of relief, and hopped up onto the roof. The shiny
umbreon sprinted across the rooftops, and eventually landed in
Leo's tree. She spoke with him, expressing her guilt that she told
him to stay. she picked him up, and started running. After a solid
five minuets of nonstop running, they came in sight of the battle.
Margo set Leo down, and she almost immediately spotted two young
Pokémon; a strange white vulpix, and a rattata. The vulpix seemed
fine, so she went to help the rattata.
Winter sighed. At least in wasn't an all out battle. Just a little
skirmish...he turned around, figuring he should go back...maybe
check on Emerald, or try to socialize with the Republicans. He
hadn't really done enough of that
Xatina nodded. "Yeah, I guess so. Thanks for telling me, it's
always nice to know that!" Inside though, she knew that she didn't
need to depend on anyone. It was better if she focused on becoming
strong and doing her job.
Winter
Emerald was sat up and just talking to Harringale about various
things. He seemed a little better and was recovering
There were other Republicans that were looking to spar at
least.
Xatina
The three friends looked at each other and went back to talking.
“So...Has anyone managed to practice at all..? My nerves...” The
Axew said uncertainly to the others.
There were some other knights walkikg around the school
Winter showed himself to his friend, before weaving through the
crowd of eager opponents, eyes sparkling as the thrilling
anticipation for battle entered him.
Winter
Emerald did glance over at his friend. He flashed a small smile
before he went back to talking to Harringale. There was
something...wistful about it
The first willing opponent was a Breloom. It went over to one side
of the area prepared for them. He looked to be stronger than
Emerald at least
Winter wasn't sure if this opponent would want to go gentle, like
Emerald had. He decided not to let himself hold back, just in case.
As he took his place, he noted the mushroom Pokémon's springy
limbs, and mentally prepared himself. He'll probably go for a
poison move... He anticipated
Margo
Invisibility actually didn’t mean anything to the Lucario and Riolu
family, since of their abilities to detect auras. However...
Emerald walked straight into Margo without realising she was there.
“Wha?!”
Margo fell over, and became visible again as she scrambled up and
whispered an apology, her eye turning a light pink slightly. "I am
very sorry good sir. my apologies." She whispered good naturedly.
her eye flashed back to blue, the momentary embarrassment gone.
Margo
“No worries! Didn’t see you there...literally.” Emerald had a
friendly grin on his face as he picked himself off of the floor, he
brushed the snow off of himself and her
Winter's snow warning activated. He used aurora veil, weakening the
punch's power. He had wanted to work on his defense, so this would
be perfect. He used ice shard, angling it toward the ground while
some of the shards still flew toward the breloom. Not a poison
type move, but I wouldn't be surprised if he still pulled that
trick. Winter had come against plenty of shroomish. He knew
they just loved to status their opponents
Margo winced as the riolu touched the injurie on her neck, but let
him do it none the less. She put out a paw, and whispered, "Thanks.
Sorry about the whole.. Invisible thing. It's new to me as well. I
don't know if its magic or something else, but I'm glad you're O.K.
My name is Margo. Yours?"
Margo
“Names Emerald...” His expression turned a little more serious. “We
should head somewhere quieter, perhaps more out of sight to
continue this conversation.” He darted into a nearby alleyway
Winter
With one swipe and a leap, the Breloom knocked away some of the
shards and leapt over the ones skidding on the ground, and was now
standing in a defensive stance. This Breloom didn’t seem to be a
pushover
