Winter
Emerald almost tripped immediately but once he got his bearings
together, he did his best to skate. He initiated with a Force Palm
towards Winter when he got close
Margo
"One move at a time." The knights that were watching said calmly.
"That's the rules of all battles. There is no exceptions, even in
sparring. The Lairon shrugged off the damage as it charged once
again, barreling into Margo with an Iron Head
Winter was knocked back by the force palm, but soon used the ice to
his advantage, slipping behind Emerald and sending forth a fairy
wind. He was gentle about it though. He didn't want to seriously
injure his friend.
Digging his claws into the ice, Winter braced himself for the
unavoidable swift attack, the star shaped blades stinging his eyes.
He hated unavoidable moves...even though they weren't all that
strong., all they were were distractions for the opponent to get
the upper hand by doing damage or just being in the way. Growling
slightly, he sent an ice shard back at the riolu.
Winter
Emerald skated around the should, though it grazed his arm. He
would get much closer to Winter, though it didn’t seem like he had
an attack ready yet
Winter
It soon became apparent that Emerald had a mischievious glint in
his eyes. Winter would have a bubble form behind him as he was
bounced into it, causing him to trip over
Margo hadn't realized that she had broken the rules of battle, so
she let the Iron Head move smash into her. she gasped as it sent
her flying. Margo thought that the Lairon hadn't expected her to
stay still, and had gone faster than needed on order to hit her.
The umbreon twisted in mid air to land on her feet, the impact
jarring so she felt like her teeth were going to fall out. She was
still inside the circle, so she closed her eyes, and her iris went
swiftly back to blue as she went invisible. She did not count this
as a move, and sucked in a huge breath, and made the biggest shadow
ball she could. It was about the same size as the Lairon, and she
took a running jump and slammed her entire body into it, sending it
shooting towards her opponent.
Margo was still invisible, and she darted around behind the lairon,
didn't even use a move, and bit down as hard as she could on his
tail, as she became visible again.
Winter leaped over the bubbles, ice beaming Emerald to the face.
The second bubble had done little more than bump his paw due to him
not moving, so he proceeded to use it to his advantage with an
attack. "You aren't taking this seriously!" He barked, genuinely
frustrated.
Winter
“S-Sorry! I sometimes use my bubbles as a distraction to
run...a-anyways!” Emerald was flustered. He was having fun with his
friend but...if he wanted him to be serious, he had to deliver.
“Alright then, here we go!” He sent a spinning wind blade across
the ice, like they did in curling
Margo + Leo
“Alright now! A small break is in order!” The knight barked out.
“Was that enough time to test your moves?”
In his sparring sessions with Roran and Kiro, they hadn't allowed
him to let up, not once. Winter's reaction to Emerald was a perfect
echo of how they had acted with him. Something about 'not having
time to mess around in a real battle'. As sweet as the two warriors
were, they took their training seriously, and so did he. He
countered the blade with an ice shard. At this point the attacks
were starting to crack the slippery ground.
Winter
There was a slight change in Emerald’s expression..the happy glint
in his eyes, that even surfaced in battles...had all but
vanished.
He casted Elwind, a large blade of wind hurtled towards Winter, as
the shard struck him
Margo nodded, her eye turning gold. she trotted over to her
opponent, and bowed respectfully. "thankyou for sparing with me,
good knight. But I really must be going now." whispered the shiny
umbreon. Margo smiled, and then faded back into invisibility. She
walked over to Leo, whispered in his ear, "I'm right here. just
walk out through the gates. I'll be there."
Winter probably wouldn't be able to avoid the attack, but he tried
anyway, leaping to the side. In any case, he was planning his next
move, glad he was being taken seriously now. He tried to think back
to his training, instead of rapid firing attacks. Where were his
old tricks...? Oh yeah! He used ice shard, but aimed it at the
ground instead of the opponent.
Winter
While he was being taken seriously, there was a small hint of
sadness behind his attacks. He jumped over, skipping over the shard
and used Ice Punch

The boulevard was very quiet, no fights down this street
