Pokemon: Heaven's Duality
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → Pokemon: Heaven's Duality"I'm Rene..." The Fennekin said uncertainly. She wasn't sure what Fortem was up to, but felt he wasn't a bad person at least...
Audax
Audax joining the Loyalists was an easy matter, as everyone believed he was loyalist already, unlike poor Emerald who was currently going through tests to prove his loyalty. He was knighted for the occasion and joined as a squire.
Winter
"A moment, Winter." Remus called out to him. "Have you chosen to help infiltrate a side?"
Audax couldn't believe that he was technically a squire now... or that the knights would believe him so fast, or that knighting ceremonies could happen so quickly. He wondered if he'd be serving under any other knight, like how Emerald had been training under Fortem before this chaos begun. He wondered how Emerald was doing in with the Republicans, and felt a knot of dread tighten in his stomach.
Back at the arena, Clamor watched the little riolu try to prove himself with interest. Hadn't he spotted him hanging out with that lycanroc a while back? What were they up to? He decided not to interfere, as either the riolu had wisely changed his mind, or he and his friend had something planned. The lycanroc had been good to him, so he wouldn't say anything. He went up to introduce himself, and although the breakout had happened just this morning, it felt like long ago already.
“Apparently one of the Republicans managed to break a lock off their cell.” The knight sighed. “It seems as though the security wasn’t tight enough...no casualties though.”
Margo
“You need to rest, you’re not fit enough to go anywhere yet!” The Bayleef nurse addressed Margo sternly as they rushed back over to her
Fortem
Slowly but surely, she was calming down. Perhaps it was someone else’s presence that calmed her, or perhaps she was getting absorbed into the book
Audax
Audax was immediately sent to do agility training, a suitable instructor would be found for him straight away.
Clamor
Emerald had ditched his scarf and pin at the camp, and had replaced it with a red necktie, all part of the disguise. But...
He noted that Clamor was approaching him. Keep calm, keep calm. He was a Riolu, he was able to detect emotions...he should be able to twist that in his favour
Audax stumbled into the training room. Wow, the loyalists really were no slouches when it came to speed - both training wise, and the speed that they had gotten him from regular citizen to training squire. He looked around the space. "Hello?"
Clamor still didn't have his chalk board, so he tried to greet the riolu without one. He calmly gave him a tail wave and a respectful dip of the head. The riolu seemed a little nervous, and Clamor half wondered if it was because he was a new recruit concerned about the loyalists, or if it were for some other mysterious reason.

“This is...the Stone tome...” Rene said nervously. By that statement, she was an Earth mage. And that was true. The gray covers on the book as well as the runes give it away.
Audax
A Grovyle walked up to him, white armour, dark green cape with a silver trim, with silver leaves on the hem. Only Instructors wore that kind of cape, which symbolised a plant growing with the help of others. “My name is Dalsin, I specialise in agility...or more specifically, your jumping abilities!” He seemed friendly enough, and it could be noted that he was very easy going.
Clamor
“Hello!” Emerald greeted Clamor with a cheerful smile and a nuzzle of affection. That was definitely genuine at least, though he didn’t seem to know he was mute just yet...
Xatina
“A small group it seems.” The knight continued to talk about it. They weren’t involved in the prison break though. “They knocked every guard out before escaping.”
The grovyle certainly looked very regal in his uniform. Audax supposed that when he wasn't gathering info, training would be great, which was why it was a good idea for him to participate wholeheartedly in his knight training. It would also make him blend in better. He smiled, realising he'd get to experience what Fortem had, and that maybe they could talk about it after. "I'm Audax," He introduced.
Clamor was surprised by the Riolu's immediate affection, but huffed, amused. A smile spread across his muzzle. Right then and there, Clamor decided he would show this kid the ropes, maybe help him out a little bit. He seemed nice enough.
“Every magic is interesting...but you have to fund yourself after the first magic.” Rene continued. “And spellbooks are not cheap, especially since they break after a certain amount of uses.”
Audax
“A brave name.” Dalsin smiled. “Let’s see how high you can jump! Right away!”
Clamor
Emerald quickly caught on. “Oh? Are you mute? Let’s see...um...” he scrummaged through his bag...and found a spare notebook and pen. “Would this help?”
"Oh-! Okay!" Caught a little off guard, Audax hesitated a moment, then leaped as high as he could. With stubby legs and no run up, it wasn't the highest. Still, it was decent for his size.
Clamor grinned. It wasn't every day that someone was accommodating enough to lend him a notepad to speak with. He happily grabbed the pen, and scribbled down: "I'm Clamor. Nice to meet'cha!"
“Me neither...” There was a rumble outside. It seems like there was fighting outside the School of Magic and the arena.
Audax
“That’s good! A good start! Now we need to improve your jump! I’f recommend...one of thosr over there!” He waved an arm to a training trampoline over there
Clamor
“It’s good to meet you, I’m Emerald!” He stepped in and gave Clamor a hug. He really did seem like a nice guy...he didn’t have anything against the Republicans after all
A fight was beginning outside
"Got it!" Audax scampered over the the trampoline, and began bouncing. "Any tips?" He asked Dalsin. He thought he heard something, but ignored it for now.
Clamor moved his head into a more comfortable position in the hug. Yup, Emerald seemed fine to him, at least for now. A noise caught his interest, and his round ears flicked up. It seemed to be the noises of battle...
“Everyone outside. Defend the school!” Thea commanded. “Do not let the battle come into the school!” Note the words she used.
Audax
“Remember to use you leg muscles properly, time your jumps.” Dalsin said calmly
Clamor
Emerald looked outside. “It seems as though there’s a fight..do we have to go?” He looked at Clamor
Margo
While she wasn’t in the battle, she could definitely see the battle raging on behind the gates
Audax did his best to follow the grovyle's instructions. As he did, he felt his jumps get just a little bit higher. He tried hard to time the bounces just right, hoping his legs wouldn't buckle.
"I'm going," Clamor jotted down to tell Emerald. "I guess it's up to you if you come, but I'll battle with you for now if you do." Clamor knew that the knights had a mentor and training system, and had suggested earlier that the republicans get one too, though it hadn't been implemented. It seemed to help new recruits on the loyalist side, so he would try to do the same for Emerald.
Fortem would stand face to face against...
Battle Theme - Paths that will Never Cross
“...Fortem...” Emerald’s worried face looked at his friend, they were no longer standing on the same side, not for now. Of course, neither knew of each other’s plans.
Audax
“Good!” Thirty minutes later... “and a brief break is in order...” Dalsin would smile. If Audax wanted to ask him of anything, now was the time
Clamor
There were knights ready to be fought...but it was too chaotic to pick one and fight them.
Margo
Attacks flew everywhere, just missing the tree that she was in...
