Fortem was heading back to his room. The main gate had tons of guards and Fortem didn't really feel like interacting with anyone, so he decided to take the entrance nearer to his room. It would be quicker, anyway. There weren't as many guards, and at the moment, there seemed to be none. As he entered... Fortem shockingly found himself face to face with a horde of pokemon. Recognizing the luxio in front as one from the jail, he concluded that these must be republicans making a jail break of sorts... The group looked about ready to attack him... But making his first big neutral move, Fortme stepped back. "I won't say anything. I saw nothing," He said, turning his head to the side.. Even if the jail was good, Fortem didn't think these republicans deserved to be there.
Clamor looked at the lycanroc skeptically. Was he lying? Was this pokemon a loyalist tricking them, or a republican ally, or just neutral? Either way, Clamor recognised this as the knight who had tried to get them food in the jail. He was already feeling guilty for making all those other knights faint... wow, a day had really changed him. Deciding to show mercy for once, he nodded begrudgingly at the lycanroc and walked past him. If one of the other republicans decided to attack him, he wouldn't stop them, but he told himself he was doing this as to not add to his own guilt. Hopefully the knight kept his word.
That was reasonable, seeing as Yung was well known. "The school of magic guards already think I'm loyalist," Audax put forward. "I can help there. Well, I'm actually pretty free to do whatever you need." Audax volunteered.
The exercise was initiated. Take out the other team stealthily
Neutral
“I advise going at least in pairs.” Yung said. “That way you can look out for each other...” He thought about who would be up for going in the Republicans...
Clamor
No exit in sight. However, there was an unsured exercise springboard/trampoline to the side...and a low part of the wall...
Clamor flicked his tail, leading the republicans to the trampolines. How convenient. He used them to heighten his already high jumps, and landed up on the top of the wall. He looked down expectingly at the others, with another tail flick, as if he were saying "come on up!"
“We’ll figure it out soon, hopefully everyone is listening in...” Yung murmured as he looked around at everyone
Emerald was deep in thought and Lumi was just frolicking around
Clamor
There was little incident as they made it over, the safest place to refuge would be the arena
Xatina
The exercise continued, soon, the two teams would swap around and the same would happen
“Hey Riptide...do you have a preference on which faction you’d infiltrate? We should at least send a duo teach one.” Remus asked in a pleasant voice
Xatina
The exercise was over and the commander called that everyone did a great job and that snacks and drinks would be available at the castle. And with that, they were dismissed
Audax looked to riptide, the greninja. Where would he choose to go?
The ragtag bunch of pokemon made it back to the arena. Thankfully, they hadn't been caught again. Clamor let out a sigh of relief. They'd done it!

There were some knights nearby. "Did you hear about the breakout?"
"Yeah...a few of them managed to escape...none of the guards were killed though, only knocked out."
They continued to discuss the breakout.
Audax
Emerald looked uncertain, even worried. "I...will go infiltrate the Republicans."
Yung looked at him. This would be an unfortunate turn of events...especially if something happened...
Fortem
Perhaps the castle was too dangerous for now...the School of Magic would be a good place to start. If anything went awry, having a strong magic user would prove to be useful
Audax internally admired how brave Emerald was being, too shy to say it out loud. He at least knew some of the loyalists and where they were, and somewhat how they acted, but the republicans were more of a mystery. It would be dangerous, though. "Stay safe, ok?" Audax asked of him, putting a paw on his shoulder.
Each study was deep in study, whether it was actually studying or they were reading to take their minds off of the events that had been happening recently. There did seem to be a Fennekin looking fairly stressed...
Riptide
"With a skilled Greninja like yourself...I believe that you might do well infiltrating the Republicans..." Remus said slowly. "Here take this, though you may not need all of it." He smiled as he gave a thief's outfit, which was practically all black. "That's for the night time sneaking around."
Audax
Yung looked at Audax and Emerald. "Alright... I need you both to take these." He gave them both what looked to be fancy outfits...it looked like thieves outfits and a mask. "Those are for sneaking around at night...try to see if anything is suspicious." He put his paws on his hips. "I have but one warning. Prepare yourself to fight against your former friends. It may be inevitable."
Emerald looked at Audax and started walking, with his friend back to the portal. "I'm scared...we may have to fight each other..."
Audax accepted the outfit, then looked at his paws. There were probably ways to avoid fighting, but maybe it would be inevitable... either way, he would put it off as long as possible, and just gather information. "It's gonna be ok," He tried to smile at Emerald, hoping to reassure them both.
“I just...don’t want anything to do with this war...” The Fennekin looked more then a little stressed. “It’s just too much...” They were looking at some runes in the book they were reading
Audax
Soon the reached the plaza once again. “Alright...we have to both join a side for real now...” Emerald sighed. “But...be careful alright?”
Audax nodded, though nervously. "I will," He told Emerald.
