Regina had finished her patrol of the city and decided to go back and check in on the Royal Family. Regina had full faith that Tirik's magic would pull through, but her loyalty would not let her mind rest until she made absolutely sure they were alright. She rode Brazen back to the stables, handing him off. At the very least, she'd be able to take a nap. Regina was exhausted. She entered the castle and started heading to her room, but stopped when she saw...almost all of the Royal siblings. And...a giant bird? "What in the world is going on?" she asked.

Noah continued at his work, completely ignoring the conversation happening behind him. He paused after a bit and looked at the pile. It was easier than he had first thought. He was already a quarter done. He looked out one of the windows nearby. A perfect escape route if things were to go badly. The windowsills were thin, but he had walked across them many times before. He turned his head back to his work and continued.

Turning his head to look at Regina, Tirik smiled. "Well, General, it's just like marching your troops through another kingdom. It's a demonstration. I'd say it might have the same effect too. If the traitor were here, peering upon these mighty Guardians, one would think the threat would die off immediately. And, I might add, I myself am not sure quite what these can do. I chose these ones from many thousands of known spirits, simply for their loyalty recorded in the past."

Regina sighed. "I suppose. I'll never understand magic, I prefer things that you can fight without the mind games. I've had to, and it isn't the best. But their purpose is to protect? All they seem to be doing is scaring poor Prince Elliot." She leaned back on her heels. "Though I suppose that that's part of the protecting, with the way you Mages work."

"I understand, thank you for your assistance." she nodded, dismissing him. "Uhm,long story short, the King is in danger by an enemy unbeknownst to us. Worry not, our knights and spies will snuff them out in no time but we have taken some security measures ourselves just in case." she replied to Ava. "Either way, what has gotten into him?" she asked back, pointing at him with her glance while crossing her arms. He was never that serious and down so seeing as they were probably together for a long time maybe Ava was the one at fault. Maybe she was pissed off that her guardian wasn't completely summoned but it wouldn't take long for it to actually form...right?

Letting out a satisfied huff, Marigold slipped some gloves on and exited the garden. Hair and dress bouncing with every step, a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth in a jolly smile. A fuzzy, numbing stress pulled her shoulders up like strings on a puppet, she narrowed her gaze very lightly in response. In the main castle now, she looked around for anybody near by before padding down the halls.

"That sounds pretty fun" Ava mildly perked up before Joy points out Noah, looking at him and then back at the Princess. "Your dad... er... his majesty, has some really weird scary punishments. I thought it was a bit too much," They shrugged "but I can't judge." They brought their left arm up to their head and spoke as Tabby "He's becoming just like his brother!" "Wow. Rude. But true (😔)" They shook their head "I really hope he comes back to earth soon enough"

"Hmph, I'm wasting too much time" Dallas mutters. She raises a piece of cloth up to her mouth, forcefully coughing into it to clear the blood in her mouth before placing the small gas mask back onto her face. They still had a full day ahead, and Dallas was eager to find something. She strolls out of the alleyway and pauses. She slowly looks around, keeping a watchful eye on everything- the doors, the windows, the streets. She keeps an eye on everyone who passes by. She tries to overhear their conversations, memorize their clothing, and analyze their expressions and body language. But nothing suspicious arose. Not immediately finding her target irritated her. Dallas wanted some action, maybe even more than her need to appease Scarlet. It had been months since she was cleared to assassinate someone and she was desperate to be able to do it again. She wanted to chase someone down, watch the fear in their eyes as they chased themself down into exhaustion, being unable to defend themself as her poison slowly paralyzed her prey. That's when the best part came when she able to-
Smack! It felt like a brick hit her stomach. A groan escapes her lips as she snaps her head up to find her attacker.
"Sorry miss!" A little boy yells. He races over to her and retrieves a ball that had been kicked towards her. His eyes are fearful as he stares at the very strangely dressed woman. Dallas was tempted to give him a piece of her mind, but she was still fighting to catch her breath, how strong is this kid!? The boy races away from her, his friend in tow. They quickly laugh off the incident, seemingly forgetting about her totally once they were a safe distance away from her.

"Ah,I see. My father is trying his best to shape him into a fine heir of the throne and sometimes he does cross the line a tad bit. But it's for the better." she shrugged, ignoring the comment they made about Elliot. After a short while, she spotted her mother looking and aimlessly walking around. She lifted up her dress and jogged towards her. "Mother!" she cried,as she hugged her tightly. "I haven't seen you ever since you went for a walk with Father, and with all that's been going around..." she sighed. "Is he safe?"

She hesitated, before giving a warm smile. “He’s fine,” Something shimmered behind her gaze. She returned the hug, her head gently resting against Joy’s. “What are you all up to?” Her eyes remained closed, until she withdrew from the hug they opened again.

William was in his room, reading a book under candlelight. He had sent a messenger to retrieve Noah for him. The servant made their way through the castle and arrived at Noah’s room. He knocked on the open door and bowed, “Master Noah. Your father would like to see you upstairs. Please come alone” the messenger relayed to him before leaving.

Elliot scowled at the jab at his work ethic but let it slide off at the appearance of his mother. "Hello, Mother." He offered, a small wave given with an awkward wave. He was at a slight loss as to what he should do, but he supposed that dispelling his guardian would be a good start. Pressing his thumb and middle together, with just one word, the Raven guardian melted away as inky darkness splattered onto the ground before coalescing back into the coin it was summoned from. "We were simply learning a little bit of magic from Tirik." His eyes darted over to the messenger relaying a message to Noah and felt a small ugly part of himself rear its head before he firmly quashed it.

Noah continued to shut out the world around him as he worked. He was halfway through the stack now. He looked through the window again. He really could easily escape through there if something were to happen. He shook his head and resumed working.

After a few minutes had passed, the servant went back down to check if Noah heard. He walked up to Noah, “I really hate to intrude Master Noah, but your father has asked for you upstairs” the servant said while bowing next to him.

"Self-protection,really." Joy added to Elliot's words. She let go of Marigold and showed her the coin. "With this,we can summon a spirit to protect us from harm." she said as she kept fiddling with it. "What brings you here, dear Mother?" She didn't mind her company at all but something just didn't feel right. Maybe because Joy barely spends time with her mother alone. Part of her was extremely worried about Esmeralda but the other part knew guards were making sure she's safe, even just by checking from a distance.

"I think I'm going to go now, but is there anything else you need before I do?" Regina could feel her exhaust catching up to her, but she wanted to put the Royal Family first. She stood up a little taller and glanced at each of them, waiting for an answer. It had been a long day, but she needed to put them first. "I'd be happy to help in any way I can."

A mischievous smile appeared on Tirik's face, and he spoke. "Well, I could use some help. See, up in my tower-" He broke off, his smile falling as Regina's serious face didn't show the hint of a smile. "Err.. Nevermind." Tirik couldn't exactly understand why Regina never acted on her emotions, never even smiled at any jokes that were made. For him, emotions could drastically improve his Summons and better the results. But being a swordsman wasn't anything similar to Summoning, he supposed.

Regina frowned. "Were you trying to say something, Tirik?" She crossed her arms and stared at him, lifting one eyebrow. "Wouldn't want you to forget what you were saying, might as well say it at once." She hadn't had much interaction with the Mage, so mentally, she was bringing up everything she knew about him.

Tirik's smile came back. "Well you referenced it yourself, the mind games that go with magic." He placed his hands on his hips, raising his own eyebrow. "Surely you're challenging me to a match of verbal jousting? One can only assume that somebody with as fast a sword as you has an ever faster tongue. Am I correct?" Inside of the Mage's mind, he was close to pulling the General into a rabbit hole, one that he usually used to distract somebody, but rarely used to leave others speechless.

"I only challenge those I know I can win against. Being a general requires more than just strong fighting skills. A good general can plan, can change those plans at a moment's notice, and still win. I'm afraid I can't say the same about Mages. Your mind games can only do so much, I'm afraid." She had to resist the urge to smile. Regina didn't let herself smile anymore. She had more important things to do.
