"Hello?" Amelia said, poking her head through one of the doors. She
has not found any humans yet, but she needs to. She have to get
them out of here before they arrive. Shivering as memories
passed through her head, she resumed her search, failing to see 2
human in the very room she had just searched.
She sighed and closed her eyes, gritting her teeth. Amelia was
here... She hated being around the other spirits, it always didn’t
go well. Amelia didn’t do much wrong, but she still hated her.
Maybe... Just this once... She decided to give Amelia a visit,
after all, these are the first guests they had in a while. She made
her way over and floated down from the ceiling, upside down.
“Boo...” she said in a bored tone. The only reason she stayed in
this stupid hotel was to still have the feeling of purpose. As soon
as she had freed herself, she didn’t feel like it was best. She
didn’t feel needed and for the first time, she felt truly dead.
He was getting a little bit bored. Nothing was really happening and
he wanted excitement. In a very monotone voice, he spoke into the
microphone. “Please make your way to the front desk...” he
instructed.
"Huh?!?!" The mysterious voice intrigued Laura and she immediately
exit the bathroom and started heading at the base floor. Or at
least what it seemed like it. She had no idea where she was.
"Nope." Ryssu smiled when she heard the microphone. "Let's go!" She
was looking for an excuse to move around. In her mind, if you're in
a haunted house, never stay in the same place, that's how the
ghosts find you. She grabbed Miko's arm and headed through the
halls, both were on edge, whether they admitted it or not.
Miko was still thoroughly spooked. "A-aren't you scared at all?"
She stammered, which was ridiculous, considering the other girl was
younger than her, but she still didn't want to be alone in the
suspicious place due to the fact that it was, you know, haunted?
Fortunately for Laura, the front desk was on the first floor right
at the nonexistent entrance. It looked pretty well kept compared to
the rest of the hotel. There was a lady standing behind the desk,
paying no attention to those that had already made their way here.
She kept that classical greeting smile on and stood patiently.
After turning a couple corners,Laura managed to find the front desk
which was surprisingly well kept and tidy,in contrast to the other
rooms she had been.... "Uhm....hello? It might have been the
speakers but I believe I heard a male voice... Anyhow,I'm here...."
she giggled nervously. What could she,or they, whoever they are, want
from her to call her?
Laura became a bit concerned but remained still. "I'm sorry for
saying that about your voice,I'm sure it's great. You know how
devices alter your voice." she chuckled nervously. Maybe she had
insulted her or something so she opted for apologizing.
“Oh would you look at that... They’re arriving...” an
unenthusiastic voice came from the girl but her mouth didn’t move.
Meisto stepped out from inside her body, revealing herself to the
group. “Welcome to the spooky hotel, the owner brought you here
against your will, yada yada yada...” she waved her hands as she
spoke.
"Eek!" Laura screamed as she witnessed an actual ghost, tears were
almost about to fall just out of pure terror. "W-w-why'd brought me
here? I mean,I should be grateful for bringing me here,I had
nowhere to go... Is it very haunted?" she quietly asked.
She sighed and made her way over to Laura. She placed her finger
under her chin and lifted her head to look at Meitso. “These
questions are getting annoying... But I guess I kinda have to
answer...” she paused and backed away. “I didn’t bring you here,
that voice on the speaker did... And honestly, I dunno why. But
yeah I guess you can say it’s haunted...” She grinned. “After
all... You’re lookin at a ghost!”
"An actual ghost?!?" She said as she hesitantly tried to touch
it,but her hand just phased through. "Who's that voice on the
speaker and why did he bring me here?" At that point she just
thought it was an act of kindness, finding her unconscious on the
highway and picking her up,dropping her to a safer place. She
didn't really know who to trust, other than this current ghost a
bit.
The empty echoes of the run down hallway provided a nice ambient
noise as Floyd traversed through the hotel. He had woken up rather
disorientated, unable to properly remember why he was here in the
first place. Not that he minded though! This was a fun new
experience and he was itching to see what this strange place had in
store for him. Voices floated up from downstairs and Floyd
brightened at the prospect of other people being present. Taking
the stairs down, the male arrived in the lobby, looking around.
taking a few steps towards the center, he let out a small sound of
delight when he saw two other figures talking to each other. "Aha!
There are people here!" He crackled, skipping over to them. He
honed in on the first person to catch his interest, in this case
Meitso, tipping his head to regard her with a sharp toothed smile.
Ryssu and Miko still saw no choice but to go to the front office
like the voice had said. Now, Ryssu was scared, sure, but she was
hiding it better than Miko, who was visibly shaking. Ryssu smirked
a little. She wondered if she could prank her...they heard voices
up ahead, and followed them...
“Like I said, I don’t know... Go ask the idiot yourself...” she
muttered before she noticed that Floyd had walked over. He had
gotten her attention... This should be interesting. “Hello
there...” she somewhat imitated him, giving her own smile. She
still had Laura in the corner of her eye, just in case she tried
something.
Well... nearly everyone was here... It wasn’t all that great to
wait until everyone arrived, but it would all be simpler in the
end. Standing up, Yoshitiro walked away from his chair and decided
to at least try and make himself presentable to waste time
Laura's eyes widened as she noticed a person arrive at the front
desk,as well as listening to other footsteps along the way. " I
guess this isn't my hotel...we're all in the same
boat...." she thought to herself. "Will the person who used the
mic or the owner of this hotel show up?" She began to wonder just
how haunted this place really is.
Staring for a few seconds longer, Floyd suddenly burst out
laughing, bounding over to presumably give Meitso a hug only to
pass through her with a harsh chill. It didn't seem to phase him in
the slightest, a larger smile spreading over his face. "This place
is haunted!" He crackled with visible excitement. "Oh this is so
fun!" Twisting around to see two new arrivals, Floyd's smile never
really left his face as he circled around Meitso, hungrily eyeing
her up and down with his mismatched eyes.
Momentarily turning her attention away from Floyd and looked at
Laura. “Look lady, your annoying questions are pissin me off...
Just be patient and you’ll get those answers, trust me...” she said
before yawning, seeming to hardly notice Floyd’s actions. Geez...
this guy seemed as crazy as her... Well! That’s was alright, maybe
he could bring some fun! Scaring people wasn’t the only way
to stay entertained.
Miko was already not getting good vibes from the people she had
heard up ahead as she arrived. Ryssu looked rather annoyed. At this
point, neither girl said anything, just stared ahead at the people
as if to say 'We're here, I hope you're satisfied with this'.
Really, both Ryssu and Miko were surrounded by strangers, not
really even knowing each other, so they had nothing to say.
Laura tapped on Floyd's shoulder to make sure he was real. "Are you
for real? How can you be like this during a time like such! Do you
know this place?" He seemed awfully positive about this whole
situation. Maybe he was used to seeing ghosts or was a fan of
haunted places. "I-I'm scared..Is this place safe? Does this have
kind and friendly ghosts like you?" she turned to Meitso, also
noticing the other newcomers."
