"... you got to be kidding me... you guys are a bunch of idiots."
Facepalming as she groaned in annoyance. "I have lived in this room
for the whole of my spirit life and it holds a lot of meaning to
me. Like you said, there are a lot of rooms here so why don't
you guys move? This day possibly can't get any worse."
Looking around, Floyd gestured a little helplessly at the food
scattered around the floor and his discarded clothing as well.
"Kinda hard to move when we've made it look more lived in than you
have." He argued, shrugging. Sure there were other room to go to,
but it'd be a pain to move everything to another room at this
point. There might be other players who would take advantage of
their moment of vulnerability and attack them and Floyd didn't want
to take that risk
"Ughh fine, I'll let you guys stay here. But you have to go
in the morning and no attacking me when im sleeping." Amelia said,
it was too late for this kind of things but still.
"Pfft so much for a ghost..." She glanced at Floyd. It almost
seemed like teaming up with it,not attacking her when she's
sleeping and whatnot. Laura didn't trust her one bit. "Wait do we
have to go when morning comes? What's up with that?"
"Yes. This is my room we are talking about. How do you feel
about 2 strangers entering your house in the middle of the night
and sleeping in it. This is a freaking breech of privacy! " Amelia
complained, turning to her human form. Landing on her feet, she
winced a bit. The previous injury at her ankle didn't fully heal
yet but she has to deal with it.
"We didn't voluntarily come here,duh..." Laura noticed her land on
the ground and somehow didn't float or move in a peculiar way,so
after tightening her grip on the knife, she took a step and reached
out with her arm, entending his finger and laying it on the ghosts
body. After coming in contact with it she immediately pulled back.
"Hey! What the hell?!? You sure you're a ghost?"
"... That is a very good question to be honest. I'm sure I am a
ghost, I know very well that I died on that day. It's just that i
always been able to become human. I don't know why but apparently
when i died, my spirit and body somehow merged into this? Just
don't question it, it will give you headaches. Trust me, I
regretted doing that." Amelia said, as she let down her hair. "I'm
only in this form as it makes me feel more... humane?"
That... Answered exactly none of Floyd's questions. Oh well, at
least they were allowed to stay in the room which was stupid in the
first place. This room didn't belong to anyone. Crossing his arms,
he scowled at the... Ghost? Human? Half human/half ghost? Thing?
Whatever, the ghost like creature was his enemy anyways there was
no need to categorize something that was insignificant. "Well, at
least we can kill you now." He drawled
Morning was nearing and the spirits began to calm down. The morning
announcement would be heard in about an hour, waking those who
weren’t already awake and begin breakfast.
Laura didn't sleep a wink. The reasons being that, she didn't fully
trust Amelia, she wasn't comfortable and she was also worried about
stuff like Amelia hurting Floyd, others intruding and so on. She
kept looking at the ghost from time to time,to see if she was up to
something. Did they really have to leave?
Floyd on the other hand, slept pretty easy until he was roused for
his turn for watch. It wasn't that big of a surprise that he slept
like a baby, given the fact that he was a manchild and an overgrown
baby. He didn't mind the presence of the ghost that much, keeping a
careful watch over her as he packed everything up for easier
access. He didn't have any plans on leaving but it wouldn't hurt to
keep things close by and accessible.
Amelia ,herself, slept quite soundly. Resting on the other bed, her
mind wandered into the dream world. She wasn't too particularly
worried about the humans killing her as they probably do not know a
ghost's weak spot. It is not the heart for her at least. She has no
heart after all, thanks to a certain spirit ripping it out of her
body, killing her.
When the morning announcement finally sounded, Floyd clapped his
hands and cheered. "One night down, who knows how many more to go~~
I wonder if any's died yet~" Humming happily to himself, he busied
himself by making sure that everything was all neat and tidy.
Plopping down onto the ground, he waited for Laura to get up so
that they could get some more breakfast and hopefully cull some of
the participants
"Don't you think you are a bit too cheerful for a human who might
die?" Amelia said, grumbling under her breathe, burying herself
deeper under her blankets, wanting to go back to sleep. Stretching
a bit, she made herself comforatable again.
Before the announcement was made, Meitso woke up and slung Turata
over her shoulder, not accounting the pain that would come to her
chest while doing so. She winced before telling herself to get over
it and walked out of the room. She knew that Yoshitiro would pull
something dirty for everyone to get breakfast, so she decided not
to get stuff.
“Wake up everyone, it’s a new day and there’s stuff to do...” the
voice in the speakers told the group.
"If I'm going to die, I'll die laughing and on my own terms." Floyd
grinned spinning around to blow an exaggerated and obviously fake
kiss towards Amelia just to see what her reaction would be. Ah, but
they were doing pretty well on the whole food situation so maybe
they didn't need to go down to breakfast. It would be safer to just
stick with what they had since they seemed safe enough
"Ew... Gross" Muttering under her breathe as Amelia finally left
the comfort of the bed. Floating around, she tidied up the bed and
the room. "Better." Folding her arms, she glared at the pair before
leaving. Poking her head back in, she gave a warning, "Dont Mess up
the room!"
Laura yawned and stretched as she got up. "Mornin' Floyd.... and
ghost... D'ya reckon they could tone down the microphone or
something?" she said while rubbing her eyes. "Even if we do mess up
the room, how much worse can it get from a haunted and somewhat
abandoned hotel?"
"I take pride in keeping my things neat and clean. " Amelia
grumbled, rolling her eyes. Using a gust of wind, she pushed Laura
off the bed, before tidying it up too. "And the microphone? Get use
to it. you do not know what I had to deal with leaving here. And a
certain spirit turned human was not helpful in keeping things
quiet."
Laura faceplanted onto the floor and just stayed there, idle, making
a subtle "Ow". She wasn't in the mood for anything really. "I don't
care about your ghost businesses nor will I meddle in them." she
said as she was still on the floor. At least Floyd has a good
night's rest.
