“...Hm...I’m from the Pokemon Square. It’s pretty far away from
here.” He smiled gently. “But over there, we’re building a town in
the jungle, where everyone will live in the trees.” He said with
confidence. After all, he was helping spearhead the building back
at home. “I travel a lot, you see, so I get to see many faces.”
A town in the trees sounded like quite the adventure. Bannette was
quite interested in visiting this place once it was done. "Are you
an adventurer then?" His interest was piqued when Yung mentioned
about traveling. Bending the delicate mental into shape, Bannette
held it up the ear cuffs for inspection before making a few more
adjustments
“That’s right. I am an adventurer....” he murmured. “I travelled
plenty over the years.” He smiled as he watched in awe at the
Banette making the jewellery
Finishing one cuff, Bannette picked up the second one with a
nostalgic smile. "Believe it or not, my husband and I used to be a
team of explorers. We rarely see older adventures now so it's very
nice to see people like you still active in the field."
“It’s more a case of....me cleaning up after the mess of my
friend...” he grinned sheepishly. “He always gets himself into
trouble, so I have to chase after him. As such...I need to keep on
top of things. Plus, I do liking seeing everyone smile, so I try my
best to help out!”
Laughing, he put aside his glasses once he was finished. "That's
quite admirable of you." He hummed, putting the cuffs into plush
velvet cases. "Wanting people to smile, I mean. I'm glad that there
are still adventures out there who only want to put smiles on
others faces " pushing the box towards Yung, Bannette stretched and
heard a few joints pop
“I seriously don’t get adventuring only for the sake of money. If
you need to survive, it’s understandable but only for money....” he
didn’t finish his thought. “How much do I owe you, kind sir?”
"Just call me Minos. Being called sir makes me feel old." The
Bannette waved off with a laugh. "For these small trinkets, 150 is
all you owe." In all honesty, Minos had started out as an explorer
just to earn money. His adventures, however, had slowly changed his
mind and before his retirement he had grown to find helping other
much more satisfying that getting paid
“You’re kidding, right? This level of craftsmanship deserves more
then just that!” He paid 1000. And looked at them before gently
putting them into his bag
Surprised, Minos laughed and shook his head. "I'm deadly serious.
If our pieces of art can find a good home and some use other than
sitting around looking pretty, the price to give them a home is
negligible." Taking 150, the Bannette slid the rest of the money
back to Yung. "This money can go into something more useful than a
few decorative pieces of metal."
“Think of it this way. This money is going to a cause I
wholeheartedly believe in to be just. This money could help you
further, in making even more people happy.” He smiled. “Please,
don’t make me feel bad. Paying that little for art is...just not
fair on your time.”
Surprised at Ying's reasoning, Minos found that he couldn't argue
against it. "Very well then. In return I might use this money to
make a trip to Pokemon Square." There was a small twinkle in his
eyes as he smiled widely. "Thank you for your patronage!"
He smiled and bowed. “Thank you.” He would resume back on his track
in wandering the town, and looking for the guild. “Some people are
so nice...” he said to himself as he just wandered
Furret was patting through Kinto Grove yet she seemed to be in her
own world until she bumped into a random charizard.excusing herself
she walked away quickly
Braxien was hurriedly setting up more flyers before she noticed a
ninetales calling to her, but she had run so fast she must've just
missed the girl, telling herself she'd turn around and answer
questions once she was done she placed the extra flyers onto a
small table that were by the path leading to her guild. Things were
a little difficult by herself since she had lost her long time
partner, but she didnt want to let her old friend down and turned
around with a bright smile, ready for any pokemon that came her
way.
Meanwhile, a Ninetales with pure white fur and black tipped tails
had hurriedly padded into Akai Village, looking left and right
almost frantically, a small parchment in his jaw. He eyed every
pokemon around, noticing the lucario enter the town conversing with
a banette, a female ninetales conversing with a lovely shiny
espeon, the graceful milotic slithering between the other pokemon,
but none of these were the pokemon he was searching for. He had
simply run from Kinto Grove hoping to find any signs of a
particular pokemon, but his heart was sinking as he couldn't find
the familiar pink fluffball he called his baby sister anywhere.
"Ohh... I do hope she is alright... Perhaps i should turn in this
plea after all..."
The Espeon listened to what the Ninetales had asked her. This
caused her to gently shake her head, her leafy green colored head
tufts gently and elegantly swaying with her motion.
"Ah. Alas, Mi Hija, I have never been here before..I have ventured
far from the region of Johto. I am searching for a place to call a
home to wait for my very close friend..He is an Umbreon named
Schwarzlicht. I take it you are looking for some place to stay as
well..?"
Her eyes gently wandered over to the running Ninetales. She blinked
a little and tilted her head slightly.
"That Ninetales seems to be in a hurry..I hope all is alright."
Yung saw one of the flyers. “Aha...this must be it...” he said as
he looked at the flyer. He was debating whether he should join the
guild on a temporary basis. Should he hide the fact that he used to
be a leader of a guild? He was dueling the questions in his head.
“...mm....” he went towards the guild
Braxien, happy with her mission of flyer placing, had made it back
to her guild fairly quickly, turning around to see the pokemon in
the town below. She happened to see the Lucario making his way up
towards the guild and nearly jumped out of her fur. She recognized
him from her childhood when she was just starting her days as an
adventurer. But, it couldn't be.. could it? She felt like he really
was the same pokemon she was thinking about, but she didn't want to
jump to conclusions, Decidueye always told her to not make hasty
judgements, so she didn't want to wind up on the wrong paw of
things. "Hi there! Welcome to the Guild! What can I do for ya?" she
asked cheerfully.
Ninetales continued to look around, slowly hanging his head in
defeat before he gently shook his tails, looking back up towards
the Guild with saddened eyes. "She really isn't anywhere... I
suppose I should... I hope she's going to be okay..."
Slithering up the smooth steps to the guild, Albafica slowed down
to bask in the sunlight. The warm sun was scarce up in the tundra.
What they did receive was harsh glares reflected off pure and
innocent snow, and gliding over deceptive ice. Raising his head
lazily the Milotic wiggled the rest of the way seeing a Lucario and
Braxien by the entrance. He was interested if they were members of
the guild and self consciously bunched himself together to appear
smaller. Hiding his imperfect scales by habit, and attempted to
slip past the Pokemon by the entrance and go into the building
