Mira jumped slightly at the splash. "What the-"

She emerged from Sals' hug and looked into the bay. "A pokeball? Noctowl, get it for me," Mira mumbled, curious. Noctowl took off and hovered above the water, grabbing the pokeball and returning to Mira. "This... Where did-" She looked up to see Dusk and Flare.

Dusk looked down in shock and flew down to Mira. He glanced at the pokeball in Noctowl's talon. "Can I have Cyndaquil back?" he asked kindly for a moment not recognizing the Pokémon.

"Why do you want to see Lusamine? Is this some sort of trick?" The grunt asked suspiciously.

Tiger shook his head "I wish to speak with her and to get her to stop hurting my friends..." He said lowly.

"Dusk? What are you doing here?" Mira asked, tilting her head.

"Why isn't he with... Tiger?" Noctowl clearly had to think about the name before handing the pokeball to Dusk.

Dusk growled lowly and remembered what Tiger said. "He went to Aether to surrender to Lusamine he wouldn't listen to me at all! He just gave me Cyndaquil and told me to leave...I had to look for help" the Pokémon said to Noctowl darkly. "He said he didn't want the same thing that happened in Ecruteak to happen here"

The grunt shrugged and pushed Tiger in the direction of Lusamine's room. Tiger followed behind the grunt quietly. Since when do you give up? Cyndaquil's words kept repeating in his mind as he walked. As he walked he began to remember the events in Ecruteak.

[Anyone opposed to a flashback?]

(WOO FLASHBACKS)

"HE DID WHAT?!" Noctowl screeched, practically shoving Mira onto Sals.

"Hey! Noctowl, what's going-" Mira started, but was cut off by Noctowl.

"You have to come back with us. You could help, especially seeing as Mira doesn't have any of her pokemon," He said urgently.

(Also does this feel very climax-y to anyone else?)

"Of course I'm coming back!" Dusk said quickly. Cyndaquil jumped out of the Pokéball and growled.

"Tiger if you ever- Tiger? Wait where did he go!?" Cyndaquil said in surprise and looked around.

[Gonna go ahead with the flash back]

The sun was high in Ecruteak causing a heat to come across the city. "So I hear there's a festival in town today. Maybe we could check it out" Tiger said kindly and looked at his traveling companions.

"That'd be fun! It'll be great" Heart said and ran ahead. Tiger sighed and looked at Cyndaquil. He then smiled.

"Hey wait up for us!" Tiger said quickly and ran after Heart. He then saw a flyer. "Huh apparently there will be a special trainer here for the festival" he said quietly. "Wonder who it-" he continued and heard Morty calling from his gym

"Trainers of Johto welcome to the Phoenix festival! Today we are honoring Ho-Oh and his acts for the city" Morty said boldly. Tiger blinked.

"Ho-Oh? I'm sure it'll be fine" Tiger whispered. He then tried to get a better view of the. City when he saw a tree. Once he climbed into it he froze. "Frost!?" He called his dad's name in shock

"This trainer has the rainbow wing and he has an announcement. Frost go ahead" Morty called and nodded to Frost.

Frost nodded "thank you Morty. Citizens of Ecruteak we have a bad trainer in your city. One who is using Lugia for his own devices" Frost called causing Tiger's blood to turn to ice.

"What would do something like that!?" A trainer called. Tiger then moved deeper into the tree. Leaves began to block him for view. "That's despicable!" Another trainer yelled.

"Don't worry! Ho-Oh will find him" Frost called and raise the rainbow wing up. Tiger's silver wing then shined as well.

I've got to... Tiger began but froze as Ho-Oh appeared. He legend screeched. "Ho-Oh look at the trainer with Lugia and bring him here..." Frost commanded. He trainers in Ecruteak cheered for Ho-Oh, but Tiger froze in shock. Ho-Oh then began to use sacred fire on Ecruteak setting city on fire. "Come out kid, and face your date!" Ho-Oh called darkly. Tiger then froze as he saw he friends get surrounded by the flames. Two of them were trying to fight off the legend but we're failing. A rotom one owned was cursing as he fought. Tiger then jumped out of the tree.

"Ho-Oh leave them alone! I'm here!" The trainer called. He summoned Lugia and a fight broke out. Once the fight was over, Ho-Oh and Frost fled. Lugia helped put the flames in Ecruteak out and the citizens let Tiger go.

"Listen Tiger I can't do this anymore" one of the trainers said lowly. "it's your fault that Ho-Oh came and you're the reason Rocket is following us. It'll be safer if we split up" the words were repeating in Tiger's mind now.

"Hey snap out of the brat we're here!" The grunt said snapping Tiger out of his memories he looked up and saw Lusamine.

"We're getting him," Noctowl cooed to Cyndaquil. "Sals, Cyndaquil, Dusk... Keep her safe. I'm not the fighting type."

Sals nodded and outstretched his wings, ready to take off.

Cyndaquil and Dusk nodded. Cyndaquil then climbed onto Dusk and the Pokémon flew to Aether.

"What is it?" Lusamine said darkly. She looked at Tiger with a glare.

"Lusamine I surrender. Leave my friends alone, and I will do what you want..." Tiger said lowly and looked at the aether leader.

Sals took off after them. "I take it Tiger's in trouble. Again. I seriously wish I spoke pokemon... I just need a psychic-type--YOU KNOW WHAT, OFF TOPIC," Mira grit her teeth. "Sals, go as fast as you can."

Cyndaquil looked over to Mira, and jumped from Dusk to Sals. He then grabbed Mira's Pokedex and typed out what Tiger was planning on doing.

"I never expected this. You just give up why?" Lusamine said suspiciously. She fixed Tiger with a glare and the trainer sighed.

"I just don't want to see my friends hurt...leave them alone and I'll come quietly" Tiger said evenly. "I'll give you the silver wing and Tapu Koko..?"

Mira's eyes widened. "IS HE INSANE. OhmygodSALSHURRYUP," She shouted to her pokemon, who picked up the pace. "Surrendering won't do anything for us! It'll make everything one thousand times worse!"

Cyndaquil sighed and shrugged. He looked at Dusk "Any plans?" he asked his friend. Dusk shook his head in defeat.

"I've got something, but Mira won't like it," Sals grumbled, glancing back at her.

"What is it?" Cyndaquil asked quickly and glanced at the Salamence.

"Well, if I fold my wings, I could carry everyone down the halls unnoticed. The only problem is that it'd seem strange if I didn't have a trainer," Sals suggested.

Cyndaquil nodded "what if Mira acted like your trainer? he asked kindly and tilted have head.

"I don't want your silver wing" Lusamine said lowly.

"Then why are you after us?" Tiger snapped crossly. He glared at Lusamine. The psychotic leader laughed.

"I'm not looking for weak Johto legends. I need the ultra beasts to create a new world. One where the ultra beasts will thrive" she laughed.

"That'd work. Only problem is that she doesn't have a uniform."

"What about Mel? We can go and look for her and ask for her help" Cyndaquil suggested.

"Sure. Let's just hope it won't be too long before we get there..." Sals sighed, descending slightly. Mira jumped.

"Wait what did you just decide?" She asked, glancing down.

Cyndaquil sighed obviously not use to having to use a Pokedex to communicate. He then replied with Sals's plan on the Pokedex.
