Riu sighed and shook his head in amusement. "Yeah, pretty much. It's a wonder she's not dead yet." He sighed, following after Mudkip. He crouched down and dragged Mel back onto the couch, dropping her on the cushions. "Do you have any family?" He asked curiously. "No pressure to answer, of course."

Mudkip shook his head sadly. "Uh no...my mom was killed in an experiment with Aether. We were forced to leave our home so I don't know how my dad is" he said quietly.

(I don't think too much has happened? The Mudkip from Aether is back, chilling at Mel's house with Riu. The Mudkip wants to help them take down Aether, and Riu's like "k fam". I'm not sure what's going on with anyone else)

"ARCEUS--" Mel rolled off the couch again, hitting the ground with a thud and a groan. "Someone answer the door please." She groaned, facedown on the living room floor. The pain in her arm had almost vanished (Giratina must be magic, she doubted she could heal herself that fast).

"Oh no, they found out I was the one who stole the.. the.. Uh.. The thing! Whatever will I do?" Riu gasped, opening the door.
