Grew up with an older sister who left her, and was sent to Alola to
live with her cousins. As a child she was neglected by her mother,
and her father was never home. Both her parents work for Team
Plasma. She ran away from Unova after her mother called her partner
Pokémon "pathetic". She vowed to never show anyone her partner
Pokémon, out of fear that her parents would find out (spoiler; its
Riu) Other: This small child holds a Griseous Orb
Victor looks over at the mountain far ahead. Since his vision was
not very good, he took out a pair of brown glasses, and wore them,
trying to see more carefully. I think there's someone leaving something on that
mountain... He thought. The object was emitting a white glow.
Tiger looked up, and narrowed his emerald eyes he saw the silver
item in the distance. "No I see it too" he said lowly, and crossed
his arms. "I wonder what's going on..." He mumbled, and glanced at
Cyndaquil who looked at the item. The Pokemon jumped back onto
Tiger's shoulder, and tilted his head in confusion.
Mel was seated on a bench not far away from the others. Her eyes
remained narrowed as she looked around herself and then the others,
as if assessing them. She saw the odd light and her eyes narrowed
even further. Was all of Alola weird and different? She glanced at
her lap, petting the Pokémon resting in it. She finally sighed,
standing up and lifting Cottonee up in her arms. Maybe she should
investigate. "I wish Riu were here.." Surely things like
that weren't supposed to happen. Right? Cottonee called out,
leaping out of her arms and floating towards the other trainers.
Mel yelped, dashing after her Pokémon. "Cottonee! Wait!" She
called.
Tiger was about to say something when he heard a trainer call for
their Pokemon. He turned around, and saw a Cottonee, Cyndaquil
looked confused as the Pokemon floated over. "Cyndaquil quil (hey
it's okay)" Cyndaquil said cheerfully, and went over to the
Cottonee. Tiger blinked, and looked around for the trainer it left
behind. We should check out that light, but what if it's a
trap... a thought sprang into the he back of Tiger's mind, but
he pushed it away, and went over to the new trainer kindly.
Cottonee fluffed up herself, blinking. "Cottonee! (Hello!)" she
replied, her voice cheerful. Mel appeared a few seconds later,
looking rather disheveled.
"Cottonee!" Mel exclaimed, crouching down beside her Pokémon.
"Don't run off like that!" Cottonee called out an apology and Mel
stood up, looking at the Cyndaquil. "You don't look wild." She
decided. She looked towards where the other trainers were. "I'm
guessing one of them?" She asked, as Cottonee leapt into her arms.
She watched one approaching and tensed slightly. "Hi," she said
nervously. "Sorry about Cottonee."
"Yeah Cyndaquil is my Pokemon. It's fine about your Cottonee, it
didn't hurt anyone, and Cyndaquil here like to run off too" Tiger
said in a kind half laugh, and picked up his Pokemon. The small
mouse Pokemon then climbed onto his trainer's shoulder, and looked
around. "As Mira said, I'm Tiger, and this is my pal Cyndaquil."
The young trainer said cheerfully. "Nice to meet you, and your
Cottonee."
Mel smiled faintly. This people didn't seem much older than her,
and they seemed okay. "Thanks. I'm Mel." She nodded. "It's nice to
meet you." Cottonee squeaked excitedly, floating from her arms to
the top of her head and settled down there.
Mel bowed back just was playfully. "A pleasure." She responded
playfully. Her eyes sparkled excitedly, she could feel her hard
exterior breaking slightly.
"Cottonee cotton!" (Hello Dratini!) Cottonee called happily. She
seemed satisfied with her work for the day, watching her trained
converse with the others.
Tiger laughed slightly in amusement, and looked around. "So uh..."
He began awkwardly, as he didn't know whether or not to be cautious
about the three new people he just met. "Are you all going to
attend the Pokemon school?" He asked, and looked over to Cyndaquil,
who went to Dratini, and Cottonee.
"I am!" Mira nodded. Although, I probably don't need to...
She added silently. Pfft. I'll probably learn something new. Dad
couldn't have known everything. "You are too, I presume?"
A trio of best friends sat at the
beach near Kukui's lab on Route One. They were looking at abandoned
shells while their three starters ran around. The oldest of the
three, a blonde-haired girl, had a sling bag on her lap. The other
two, dark-haired males, had backpacks set behind them. They were
all talking about the Pokemon Trainer School.
"Honestly, we studied this enough before we came here," Mystique
said, flipping his bangs to get them out of his face. It ended up
with his eyes being covered with blue and grey hair. Lauren laughed
and brushed her friend's hair out of his face.
"Stick has a point though," Marshall responded. "I could go walk
into the water right now and drag a Mareanie out."
"And then you'll get poisoned and I will catch it."
