"Ahhh, basically, his mother and father are murdered young and he
has to battle his brother to the death for control of the forest.
And- stars, that's bloody." Vix bites her lip. "Hm... i cant
translate that."
"You can translate anything. What do you mean?"
"I mean it just looks like Ancient and my brain isn't automatically
unscrambling it. I actually have to think. Uhm... Endless stars
coated with blood and humming a song of sadness that made
everything in the forest wither and die."
(Introed Krys and now they're just sitting eating but Vix is
reading from her book.)
Vix blinks. "Uh, I've heard that before."
"What." Jaxin says.
"Yeah. When the night sky is stained crimson and the moon shines
red. When the seasons cease to exist and space slows to a halt.
Time will crack, and break, and shatter. It's an old Time- Chaser
fairytale. My mom used to read it to me when I was young."
"No wonder you have problems." Krys says, earning a kick under the
table.

fighting, one where Vix lost and Cari won, and one where Vix won
against Beyond. They have on bracelets to prevent them from using
their Abnormalities, other than a few of my characters, and now
they're just sitting in a room eating)
Locus sighed. "Is that all you can think about?" he asked,
facepalming. "I'm sure that they're serving some somewhere else, I
dunno." He didn't think that he could bear being stuck with these
people for much longer... and it'd only been hours.
4. It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
"Really old race that mostly lived underground. They could survive
temperatures much hotter than what humans can, so they were never
discovered. Died out about... oh, a 100,000 years ago." Vix
replies.
