"Alien race that hides among humans quite easily. We tend to become
world powers of sorts. At least half a dozen presidents have been
Time-Chasers. Sadly, we're dying out. The gift is fading." Vix
sighs.
(Krys doesnt exactly help. Gray and hers realtionship is purely
based on what he was like before. But clarify, please. And recap,
basically, the went to eat and are talking and I introed Krys.
Basically it)
"I'm bored too. I wonder if Inky is up yet." Krys says.
Nobody payed much attention to Cir, so she stayed quiet. For now,
at least, she decided, she'd stay quiet, and wait until the arena
to show her true nature.
Locus looked at the other, eating and talking. He himself wasn't
very hungry. He glanced around, taking in the space. He heard
random snatches of conversation which mildly roused his interest.
And then, suddenly...
'Then someone fight me. Anyone.'
He looked at the person who had spoken. Did he have anything better
to do? No. But if he should do it was another matter entirely. He
hesitated. He decided to tread lightly, neither accepting or
rejecting. "You want a fight?" Locus asked in a casual manner.

Locus looked the girl up and down. 'Hmm... she's actually fairly
pretty.' he thought. He pushed that to the back of his mind.
There were two conflicting voices in his head. One told him that
fighting her was irrational. The other told him that he was going
to have to fight sooner or later. May as well make it sooner. He
thought for a moment. "Fine." he finally said.

"I don't understand why you people want to fight." Cari muttered,
propping a random book open. She'd found it on the table. "It's a
waste of time and energy, really." She shook her head. "No. I don't
want to know." She sighed and returned her gaze to her book.
Locus looked at Cari. "Honestly, I agree with you." he muttered.
Then he turned back to Krys. He saw the frost on the table. So that
was her ability. That could be dangerous. The temperature didn't
care if you were invisible. Not that he could turn fully invisible
with the damn bracelet on. "Okay then." he nodded.
