The sensation of the knife against Ethan's throat scared him. He would have teleported away, but he was confident enough that he could do it. If had tried and failed, he would have gotten stabbed. He just stood there, helpless. He watched as Crystal was knocked unconscious.
He heard Locklear shout, then everything went dark. Suddenly, the everyone caught by Locklear's ability, reformed in the air. Ethan escaped the grasps of the demon holding the knife to his throat as they fell. Everyone hit the ground with a large crash, even the tree that was caught. They were definitely going to have bruises.
Luckily for Ethan, his staff has come along with them. He grabbed it and sprinted to Crystal's side.
"Crystal, wake up." He said shaking her. She wasn't responding.
Some of the other had begun to walk inside the building.
"Why did you bring us her?" Ethan said, anger and confusion in his voice.

Aroura was being carried inside by someone. She didn't know who and that scared her. She hoped it was Evander.
"Evander?" Aroura used his first name for the first time. "It hurts..."
Her head throbbed, her body ached and her eyes where white hot pain. She struggled to stay awake. She was terrified of what would happen if she lost consciousness.

Gabriel had flown Terminus back to the Lux complex and the pair immediately started calling in recruits.
Terminus gave orders in the flurry of activity around him as people began showing up. People of all sizes, colors, shapes and abilities flooded to complex in the next half hour.

Evander looked at Ethan. "We brought you to with us to make sure Terminus doesn't send a tactical nuke to our location." He set Aroura on the bed and began to clean her face. When she mumbled something to him he whispered, "Shhh, rest now. I will keep you safe." Hoodie and Toby glared at Ethan. "So your supposed to be 'one of the good guys'?" Toby asked scornfully. "Since when do the good guys kill little girls based on what they look like, and what they think they might do?" Hoodie continued. He walked over and put his hands on Synthia's shoulder. "Pretty sure that's called racism, kid." Masky pulled over a second cot. When he went to lift Crystal onto it, Ethan looked like he might try to stop him. "It's ok," Masky said soothingly. "I'm just want to make sure she's ok. Kate can get violent sometimes."

Cool blessed relief. Someone was cleaning her face. She heard Evander tell her she was safe. The pain began to recede and she tried opening her eyes. It hurt, but was bearable. "Locklear? What happened? Slendy disappeared and I...saw something."
Ethan was there and so was that woman. He called her Crystal so Aroura guessed that was her name. Ethan looked confused. Synthia was standing next to a man with his hand on her shoulder, protectively. Aroura noticed the four new people in the room. "Who are they? Are they Nox?"

"Not exactly. We weren't doing so good against the Lux, so Synthia called for some back up. That's probably why Slendy disappeared. This is Hoddie, Maskey, Toby, and Kate." He said pointing at each of them. Toby studied Aroura intensely, before speaking. "You look very familier, but I can't for the life of me figure out why."

'Can you here me Synthia?' A voice echod in her mind. 'Who are you?' She spoke in her head. 'It is I, Slender. I have a job for you sweet child' the voice said. 'Of course! Anything!' She replied. 'When the time is right, I will need you to go to a specific place and call for me. If this works, I will be able to come to you without my Proxxys leaving.' 'Ok Slendy, I'll do my best!' 'I know you will child.' Synthia's face appeared emotionless, and her eyes unfocused as she conversed in her mind.

"Really?" She asked Toby. "I'm sorry, I don't remember much of my past. Will you let me know if you remember?"
Toby nodded and Aroura smiled weakly.
"So what happened?" She asked Evander. That's when Aroura remembered her vision. Suddenly terrified, she grabbed Evander's wrist. "No one was seriously hurt right? No one is dead?"

"John and I are pretty banged up, and Synthia got hit in the shoulder with an ice shard, but nothing serious. Oh yeah, Hoddie got impaled, but apparently that's not that big of a deal for him." Synthia walked towards the door. "Where are you going?" Evander asked. She looked awkwardly at him for a moment. "Never mind ." He said turning back to Aroura

As Synthia left she was glad Evander didn't ask her to many questions. She wanted to do this on her own. She walked for several minutes before coming to a dense forest. Another few minutes, and she was in a large clearing. 'Stop here.' Slendy said. 'Are you ready to try a calling?' 'Yes, I'm ready.' She replied. 'Good. I will try to use my disruptive field to block the energy signal. That way Terminus won't find it'

"So you're basically holding us hostage?" Ethan stated. He was angry at every single one of them.
"And we weren't trying to kill her just because of how she looks. She is dangerous, and she needs to be taken care of."
Ethan couldn't even escape if he tried. There was too many of them, he was outnumbered. If Crystal was conscious, maybe they would of had a chance to make a run for it. But right now, all he could do it wait. He gripped his staff tighter. He wasn't going to let go on his only weapon.

Aroura slumped back onto the cot. "Good."
Aroura turned to Ethan. "Really? What danger is that? Taking care of guy who was trying to murder us? Last time I checked it was self defense. And Synthia can control her powers. Do any of these people look like they're going to go on a rampage?"
Point made, she looked back at Evander. "So, does anyone know who that guy was? Or why he attacked you?"

"I would have said random mugger, but he had that syringe that negated your abilitys. I doubt we'll find out though, seeing as Slendy tore him apart." Evander sighed. Masky spoke. "Even if Synthia wasn't 'controlling us' as you say, we wouldn't have rampaged. Well mabye Kate but she's a different story." He frowned at Ethan and Aroura. "You both seem to have a rather negative impression of us, despite having never met us. What do you think we are, demons?"

"Even if you wouldn't have rampaged, that's not to say anything else she summoned wouldn't of. And also, when someone tries to kill you, it usually gives you have negative impression of them." Ethan spoke. He was getting severely angry now.
Ethan continued, "Oh, and neither does holding someone hostage. I actually used to like you, Locklear. But I suppose that is my own fault for trusting someone I just met. Any idea on when you will be letting us go, or are you just gonna wait till you get bored of us?"

"No, I think you're like us. I think Synthia is able to create a portal and call you from her past," Aroura reasoned. "You all have powers like us."
She listened to Ethan vent but couldn't follow his meaning. What was wrong with her?
Aroura slumped back and closed her eyes. She was so tired. "John, that guy drugged me. Or at least I think it's a drug. I'm so tired. Is...it's nothing serious right?"

"Look, kid." Evander said, getting angry. "I'm not holding you hostage. If you want to leave, go! I only brought you two because I didn't want to get hit with an immediate air strike. We'll patch the girl up and send you on your way. Stop acting like we're the villains. You attacked us, we attempted to defend ourselves. So far we have had nothing but unprovoked threats and attacks by Lux since we got here. Now get off your high horse and figure that out."

"Oh, okay, night..." Aroura slurred, unable to think strait. Soon she was asleep. she was holding Evander's hand.

"The Nox have kidnapped three of our own. We have to get them back. But we have to kill the chanter at all costs." Terminus began his speech. "Gabriel, lead a group from the skies. I'm going to lead the rest of you on the ground. We're going to surround the mansion. I'd like as little bloodshed as possible. Knock people unconscious."
Gabriel pulled a group of guys close. "There is a kid in a red trench coat. He kidnapped the girl I love. He is hurting her. Can I count on you to help me save her?"
The man nodded and Gabriel laid out his plan.

As Synthia sang the portal open faster than usual. Out of it came the same white beast from earlier, but the portal didn't close. The creature beckoned for her to continue singing.

Slender man, Slender man, his branching arms are for collecting. Slender man, Slender man, his face is empty of expressing. Slender man, Slender man, he won't let you say goodbye. Slender man, Slender man, you most certainly will die!

As she sang a low hum of static filled the air as Slender blocked the power surge out, keeping others from feeling it.

(Evander and Aroura went on a date. Gabriel hired a hitman to kill Evander and Synthia. Evander was stabbed, Aroura was drugged. Ethan trained with Crystal. Synthia summoned a creature and it killed the hitman. The Lux came, Ethan fought and Aroura had a vision. Synthia summoned 4 other people. Evander got them to the Nox mansion with Ethan and Crystal. Synthia is calling another person. I think that's it.)

"We may have attacked first, but we care about the safety of everyone else. One of these days, your sister will summon something that she can't control, and it will innocent people. You'll regret not letting us stop her." Ethan said, anger in his voice.
Suddenly Crystal began to wake. Ethan ran to her side, "Crystal? Are you okay?"
"Yes. Where are we?"
"We're at the Nox Mansion. We were forced to come here. But we'll be leaving now." He said as he helped Crystal up.
The thing that attacked Ethan earlier began to speak, "Hm, are you we should let them go? Once they're gone, we lose all leverage we have."

Terminus arrived on the mansion grounds with his team. They had spread themselves around the mansion. He was going to rescue his fellow Lux. Gabriel was flying above the mansion with his group from the skies. He was going to save Aroura at all costs.

Both Violet and Opal had returned to the Lux and Nox, oblivious to the events of the day. After a short nap Opal felt much better, shifting into a hawk. The elegant bird's eyes shifted to the golden color of Opal's as she spread her wide wings. Hopping to the open window she spotted a commotion in town with keen eyes and glided out, unknowingly heading towards Evander and the others.

At the words, "You'll regret not letting us stop her" Evander barely kept himself from smashing the boys teeth down his throat. "Yes Hoodie, I'm sure. Now get out kid, before I change my mind." John started up. "Their here!" He cried "prepare defenses!" An alarm sounded throughout the building. War was at hand.

As Synthia sang something began to rise from the portal. It took her a moment to recognize it as the building she and Evander lived in with the others. 'We're bringing the house here?' Glancing at Slender she saw he was undergoing some kind of change. Instead of simply being a monsterous creature, he grew till he was at least 15-20 feet tall. His suit formed on him and the ragged hole in his face sealed, leaving nothing behind. He looked like his normal self now. When she finished her song, the house made a groaning noises as it settled on its new foundation.
