Crystal felt the spray of water and almost felt as if she had to attack. It was like how bubble beam felt on her but she calmed herself down. She handed her ticket to the man by the boat and walked in. She looked around to see who was around she saw a slightly younger girl and a boy her age. She moved across from them not wanting to attract too much attention. It had been a long day and she didn't want people to notice if she started to shift back. She leaned her head against the wall for she was exhausted but she couldn't let herself sleep or she would change back. Then they would have her locked up again and she couldn't let that happen.

Selene looked up as she saw a girl enter, about the young man's age. She looked on in interest as she briskly brushed by. Another person she was going to know later. She looked directly in front of her again, not knowing what to do. Perhaps she could strike up a conversation with the person sitting near her, but she didn't know how she would start off.

The fifteen year old decided to stay silent, as she was to nervous to start a conversation. She was never one to approach someone first. Selene closed her eyes, waiting for the ferry to start moving. Which may be awhile.

He was relived that his fit had finally stopped. Raffaelu couldn't help but shift his focus near constantly. Occasionally he would look at Selene, but more or less her Pokemon. It spoke? He hadn't heard a single Pokemon talk before, it amazed him, but he did not want to stare. He did not want to scare them away. So he watched the door, hoping that other would waltz in and sit on down. It would fill the space, and take up more of the damp air he couldn't handle. Sometimes he thought it was funny how eyes could capture the world through such a small lens.

When Crystal walked in he relaxed further into the deflating cushion of his seat. He heard a familiar noise register, and his closing up lifted again. He saw the red beam take a shape of defined young dancer. Till the colors washed in and the Kirlia spun on it's agile foot a few times over. Kirlia looked over at Crystal for a long time, and them gave the other girl a brief glance. The Pokemon's gaze turned back to her trainer. "Kirlia!" she exclaimed, not sounding to pleased. The Pokemon climbed on his lap and crossed her legs.

"I never said to come out." he whispered, pulling the tiny figure to him. He blushed lightly from embarrassment, his cheeks a light pink and filling with heat. If there is any more...I hope they make it on time... he thought to himself, closing his eyes.

Crystal watched the Kirlia as it stared at her. The Kirlia knew she wasn't human, she was quite a smart pokemon. She slightly shook her head hoping the pokemon wouldn't try to tell her trainer. She sighed when the pokemon still tried to tell him but, couldn't get it across to his language. She looked at the girl who seemed to be looking at her but smelled nervous. I guess I should talk to her. She seems like she wants to talk. She faced the two of them and said, "Hi, I'm Crystal. What are your guys names?" She lifted her head up when she was talking so she didn't seem so tired.

"Oh...uh..."
"Kirlia."
"Kirlia please, uh no that is not my name. I mean. My name's Raffaelu, what is yours?" he asked, his sweet blue eyes dulling out for the time being. He took the liberty to look in her general direction, but he avoided eye contact like the plague. His tongue slide across the plump edge of his lips, tasting the salt of the sea. Due to a nervous habit he started to smooth the seas of ruffled in his midnight black tux, jacket. Her fingers ran almost shakily down the elevation of fabric on his sleeves. He repeated the process until he made the surface into a flat land. When his fingers twisted around the nothingness of air the headed south to wear his pants were, brushing them down as well. It gave him ans excuse to dip hos head down too. Kirlia watched Crystal from her masters lap. She wanted to warn him, just that Crystal could be dangerous.

She would not tolerate any games. This was her master and she would not allow any harm to come of him or her pride. She was cautious but silent. Raffaelu on the other hand stayed within the sanctuary of ignorance. Twenty minutes and or so minutes and the ferry would move to the next stop, so on and so forth. It was a long way to Sanctuary Island.

Crystal smiled seeing how happy he looked being able to talk to her. The both seemed to want to talk to each other but neither would. At least I could help these two. The Kirlia came out again and glared at her. She sent a her intentions out to the Pokemon since they could sense intentions. "I know you know what I am but I can promise you I don't want to hurt your trainer." She made eye contact with the Pokemon and smiled. She knew th Kirlia didn't like her since she seemed suspicious.

Selene was on the verge of stepping into the world of dreams when she was jolted awake by the other girl's voice. Her eyes fluttered open as she listened to the young man say his name. "O-Oh! I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" she asked, blushing. Her Chatot rustled his wings and answered for her. "Her name is Selene." he chirped. Then, after a moment of decision, he added, "And I'm Beethoven."

Kirlia closed her eyes happily and nodded now understanding. She was calm as she sat up with impeccable posture in his lap. Raffaelu couldn't help but curl his fingers and place him to his lips as he laughed quietly to himself. Unfortunately it turned into a coughing fit, but this one didn't last as long as the other. "Nice to meet you." he said, his voice for of warmth and genuine pleasure. He looked over at her Pokemon and and nodded. "You too Beethoven." His Pokemon stood and jumped off the his lap, embracing air spinning and landing with a rotational bow. "Kirlia!" she chimed pleased to meet them as well."Kirlia is glad to meet you acquaintance as well."

Title: The Vault (Forest Stream)

Euan slowly opened his eyes, awakening from his sleep. Spots of sunlight danced across his face as they found their way through the cover of the leaves above him. He took a deep breath and sighed, not feeling like getting up just yet. He had covered a lot of ground yesterday, but such progress had taken its toll on him. His scrapes and bruises from attempting to fly still hurt and just remembering about them sent another wave of pain through him. Euan groaned. I could fly fairly well with my old wings, he thought, frustrated. So why is it that when I get wings better suited for flying I'm suddenly back at square one?

He sighed again. Well, I'm not getting anywhere just lying here, he resolved, forcing himself up to a sitting position. He stretched, shaking the tiredness from his limbs and taking stock of the area around him. No one seemed to be around; that was good. At least his decision to plop down and sleep without giving much thought to his surroundings hadn't bitten him in the butt. The Murkrow had gone off somewhere, though. Euan stood up and walked through the trees towards a stream. He knew better not to worry. The bird did what she pleased and would return in her own due time.

Reaching the stream bank, Euan knelt down and splashed his face, erasing any grogginess he had left. He smiled down at the sparkling water. Today's gonna be a good day. I can feel it.

A faint smile danced across Selene's lips. "Pleasure to meet you too, Kirlia." She gave a small wave to the Kirlia and leaned back against the plush chair. A small splash of sea spray scattered from the window and into the ferry. Selene had never been at sea before, and she enjoyed the sensation of the Wingulls squawking, the ferry rocking gently, and the water rushing by. It felt comforting, and the fifteen year old girl felt as if she was being lulled to sleep.

Beethoven, on the other hand, was sharp and alert. There was something about Crystal, something she couldn't quite place. He cocked his head, ever so slightly. Being a Chatot, he didn't have much of a sense of smell, but he could smell something different about this girl. Maybe it was the way she looked at the Kirlia...

Ready to take on the day, Euan took a moment to watch the graceful flow of the current. Its peaceful bubbling soothed him, and he decided that he'd try following the stream to see where it let out. From there, well, he'd look for anything that caught his interest.

A small black bird lighted beside him, giving a quiet "caw" in greeting. Euan smiled at the Murkrow. "So how did your little trip go?" he asked. She gave a slight shrug of her wings and clacked her beak. "It's a new day," he continued, his smile growing wider. "You know what that means."

Seeing the familiar gleam in his eyes, the Murkrow gave him a deadpan stare as if to say, Not this again. "Oh c'mon!" he pleaded. "I need to have something I can call you. Calling you Murkrow all the time just feels a little awkward, y'know?" She rolled her eyes, and Euan took that as a sign that he could go ahead. "Hmm, what about... Lilith? Does that sound good?"

The Murkrow kept her gaze locked on him, unamused. "No, huh?" He sighed. Another name shot down. Either she's incredibly picky or I just suck at coming up with names. Not ready to call it quits yet, Euan went on. "What about Melanie? Onyx? Violet?"

Already tired of his attempts, the bird flew onto his head, seizing a beakful of his hair and giving it a hard tug. "Ow! Okay, okay, I'm done!" he cried, and she stopped. "...For now." He chuckled as the Murkrow gave him a final peck to the head. "You ready to go?" he asked, rising to his feet.

"Mur-krow," she muttered, making herself comfortable atop his head in response. Euan laughed as he started walking beside the stream, grateful for the company the bird provided. Having someone with him made exploring ten times as fun.

Raffaelu's smile beamed, and his fingers crawled up the pale completion of the back of his neck until they tumbled through strands of seaweed salted hair. A somewhat nervous habit. "I was almost afraid no one else would show up." he admitted as the tainted air filled his lungs. He could taste the drying salt in the air, and the droplets of watered that gushed in. They had set sail, and would be until their next stop. "It's not easy..." he nearly whispered solemnly. "Getting a ticket, I mean. All the other stops...they were empty...until we got to this one." his smile had faded with the island behind them. "I just hope, they may be a few more at the next stop."

Kirlia looked at Raffaelu, her eyes shown, she wanted to comfort him but she couldn't talk. Not like a human could. Her eyes followed the design of the wood floor. It was dark, classy with a bright sheen despite the water that could have caused it damage. Each ring representing how old each tree was before it was cut to allow man to float on water. "Do you guys believe the myths?" he asked, now looking up again. He seemed hopeful this time. "About The Guardians. Do you think they're real? People say it's just a bed time story..." Raffaelu has a child like glow to him now, like a young one wishing on a star, in hopes that his dream would come true.

The sunshine leaked through the window's sea painted glass, in spots warming his hands and lap. They folded, holding each other, almost as a plea that never lifted from his lap. They were what held his hopes and dreams together. Maybe if he could find just one more, someone who believed it was not just a legend that they were good, that they were real. That some may still be alive. There had to be someone out there, anyone but himself.

Title: The Vault

She walked across the path of rivers of frozen water. She could see the running water, a pale blue under it's glassy holder. Trapped by the fogged glass but still running. It roared beneath the stilled top layer, as it galloped across the material. Years it would erode the stone and make a new path. Each drop a wild stallion raced past each corner of stone, following the depth of the steams. Her foaming red slide's flat pushed off against the slick surface. She leaned forward, propelling herself across the steady chilled environment. The brisk wind wrapped up, and around her short snow fallen hair, it defied gravity. Presuming right through the force of motionless air until her there were melted patches of ice floated just behind the boisterous falling water. She leaped, and floated down form ice patch to ice patch.

Once she was planted in the forest path in front of the waterfall, she left behind the embarrassed life of a blizzard to follow a lose stream. Her Kimono slide across her pale completion with each long stride she took she made her way down the steam. Every time she exhaled her breath could be seen, despite the patches of warm sun that leaked through the lush jade green leaves, and the tropical temperature. Eyes of dull caution shifted restlessly. It had been nearly a year since she had come out of her ice palace that was really just a cave lake labyrinth, a below zero domain. Her collection would stay frozen in time, and await for her return. For now she followed the running water, with thought enticing her mind. Thoughts of freedom, and finding something more, seeing something more swirled around her mind like phases of the moon. Over and over, so mesmerizing it would trap you once it's gleam hit your eye. There you would be paralyzed, and anxious, waiting for your chance to flee and grasp what you were taunted with.

"So what do you want to look for today, Murkrow?" Euan asked, breaking the silence between them. When she didn't answer, he went on. "I wouldn't mind coming across the shore soon. It's been far too long since I've had a good walk along the beach." He paused, looking up to examine the tree tops. "Have you ever been to a beach, Murkrow? It's really nice."

The black bird didn't bother responding. Having been with Euan for more than a few weeks, she had come to recognize this side of him. He was bored. Regardless of if she said she had or not, he would continue talking about the beach and what he would do if he was at one. She shifted position a bit and closed her eyes. Maybe she could get some more sleep while he was going on about it. With her attention diverted from the Gijinka, his voice became nothing more than a dull droning in her ears. Knowing him, he wouldn't even realize that the Pokemon he was talking to had long since fallen asleep.

She eventually came to the point where the stream met the ocean. Her hands lifted to shield her eyes from the harmful rays. The sleeves protected her from the sheering brightness the sun radiated. Her color lacking lips part, and she blew out a bone chilling below fifty eight degrees Fahrenheit gust. The waves froze, and the water no longer swayed in that small area. She stepped of the loose creamy sand, and onto the path of floating ice she made. She continued as far out as she could until she hit The Vault itself. The invisible force, no one seemed to know what it was. Even so it covered all dimensions. It was impossible to break through. It was impossible to get out. Someone would have to been on the outside coming in.

But, who would want to come in? It was less than a mile between their island and what locked them away till death. Since the human eye could probably see about two point nine miles out, it wouldn't be unnoticeable. It was shame, the water Pokemon used to swimming miles on hours on end were trapped. Trapped in The Vault like all the others. Yuki put her mask on, and looked out into the vast sea beyond their imprisonment. Her hands placed firmly on The Vault. What was out there? Were there Pokemon there that were not in here? Were there others like them? No. Of course not. All Gijinkas were locked here for life. No exceptions.

Title: The Vault (Beach)

Seeing the trees thinning out and the grass transitioning to sand just ahead, Euan gave a small cheer and picked up the pace. The Murkrow squawked in displeasure, the jolts of his running footfalls awakening her. She shook her wings out and flew off, doing a u-turn and following behind him. So much for that nap, she thought, though not too off put. At least he'll stop talking to himself for awhile.

Euan was beaming as he stepped onto the sand. This is great! he thought excitedly. Just what I was looking for. The waves were just the right height, and with no trees around him, he had the space to practice flying some more. He closed his eyes and felt the soft caress of the sun on his face.

It was then that he noticed that the temperature had dropped. He opened his eyes and blinked in confusion, looking up to the sky. The sun was out in full force and there were only a few puffy clouds gently floating along. He shivered a bit, noticing there was no wind either. That's weird... He walked along the beach, searching a bit for the source of the chilliness, and suddenly caught sight of a strange ice bridge extending out to the ocean. He squinted; it went on for a little ways, and at the end there was... a Froslass?

Euan instinctively took a step back. Though he was curious as to why there was a Froslass on the beach, he knew better than to approach Ice types. If she was hostile, she would be able to make an icicle out of him in ten seconds flat.

Aqua woke up underwater. She blinked her eyes open and slowly swam to the top. She saw a Frostlass and Flygon gijinka. Huh, I have a weird pair of visitors today. She went back under and swam in the direction of the Frostlass. She moved like a torpedo and made it to the shore in merely a minute. She popped her head out by the shore and stepped out of the water and pushed her hair back which had already dried. She stepped toward the Frostlass and said, "Hello there. What brings you to the beach?" She smiled happily since she didn't get to many visitors that weren't water type.

Yuki didn't seem to notice the presence of a new body temperature. Her feet lifted off the ground, but they could not be seen. There she hovered, she felt across the surface invisible Vault, where she hovered the water would still and freeze a thin layer. She outlined the Vault partly, finding it hard a circular circumference. She knew it would be foolish to try and break through, but her sleeves flew back from the unknown energy and flew forth releasing an Ominous Wind, but it was repelled and sent flying back as though someone from the other side had sent it.

She flew back a few feet. The thin ice shattered under her feet, Yuki leaped from the shattering ice back to ice bridge. She followed it back up to the vault and sat down, replacing her hands on it and looking out. How dare they imprison us.

It didn't take long for a Snorunt to come trotting down the ice path. It nudged Euan, trying to get him to step aside so she could move ahead. She did not like this place, it was too warm, but she wanted to check on her previous master.

Edit:

As soon as she landed she turned to Aqua. "What...?" she asked, as though she spoke another language.

Euan gave a start as he felt something nudge him. He looked down to see a small Snorunt who seemed to be waiting for him to get out of her way. He stared at her for a second before stepping back. He turned his gaze back to the Froslass, seeing... was that a Gijinka?

It was! And now that he thought about it, the Froslass seemed to be one too. Euan's heart fluttered. It had been so long since he'd run into someone else like him, and he realized that, despite the Murkrow's presence, he had become a bit lonely. He glanced at the ice bridge. Though his eagerness to meet them had overcome his initial caution, he wasn't too keen on walking across it. Maybe I could try flying over, he thought, lifting his wings. It'll be some good practice, at least.

Euan beat his wings slowly, warming up, before quickening the pace. He felt his feet lift off the ground and took a deep breath, heading out over the water. His wings still felt strange to him and his flight path took more than a few awkward dips in the process, but using his prior experience he was able to keep himself from falling in the ocean. With the open air and no obstacles in his way, it was definitely easier.

Well, almost no obstacles. Euan noticed too late the faint remnant of an Ominous Wind attack heading towards him. Not able to dodge in time, the purple wind knocked him off balance and sent him crashing into the sea. Regaining his senses, the Flygon Gijinka swam up to the surface, his teeth chattering. The water out here was freezing.

Aqua turned her head when she heard a splash sound. She saw the Flygon gijinka land in the water and pop his head back up. She sighed in relief seeing he was okay and turned back to the Frosslass. "I'm going to check if he's okay. I'll be back." She ran towards the shore line and jumped into the water to check on the boy who fell in. She moved as quick as she could and got there extremely quickly. Faster than any non- water type pokemon could ever do. She popped her head up and asked, "Are you okay?"
