The tittering of the crowd was dying down as the lady on stage waited for everyone's full attention. She seemed so in charge and ready for action, by the way she held herself and her casual expression.
If only Selene could feel like that right now.

Raven blew a sigh as she opened the door and looked in. People. The young and inexperienced people in the room seemed jittery and nervous. The young woman took a seat on one of the chairs in the room and leaned back into it. The Skarmory on her shoulder warily looked around the room. Other people also had their Pokemon out. Raven sighted a couple Zubats and rolled her eyes. Typical.
Raven glared at anyone who made eye contact with her, and they looked away. Starscream fluttered his wings once, which made a harsh scraping sound. The people nearby shuddered at the sound, but Raven didn't care. She got used the the metal sounds a long time ago.
Once the place was settled she nodded slightly, and the room of members stood in perfectly trained unison. They might as have been an army from a video game. "All rise for The Guardian Pledge." she announced.
Ruru took a few seconds before stumbling to his feet. He looked around and put a hand over his heart. Kirlia looked up at him and mimicked him.
"Greetings, members of the old and new. My name is Renn Isreiel, and today I will be leading in the pledge." she waited a few moments, and when she heard no objections, she grinned. "I pledge allegiance to the heart, of the united nations; to the tranquility of Pokemon, and humans, and those alike. One world, under no circumstances, with unconditionally will to fight for liberty, and justice for all."
When she was done she lowered her hand to her side and as soon as her hand met her side, everyone was in their seats. Raffaellu was shocked by the sheer unity of the others. He felt somewhat like a fool, when he sat down a few seconds late.
"We are a proud organization." Renn continued, "I am not here to baby you. I will not tell you what The Guardians are. You should know from the tales, and the pledge. Your definition will be formed on your own account. There will be no questions right now. When this is over you will have three options. Now. Let us begin."
Renn looked over the crowd as if it were a twisted game before she spoke. "Team Dimension is a deadly team with many goals in mind. They are made up of members of other teams such as Team Rocket, Team Aqua, Team Magma, Team Galactic, Team Plasma, Team Flare, Team Dim Sun, Team Snagem, and other teams. They take the goals of all teams and the leader of Team Dimension promises all goals will be met once they have global control. Or at least, that is a common definition. Team Dimension is our main opposer, aside form society. However, we are not listening to society. We are listening to the prayers Arceus!"
"Our main objections is to find out why the world is being thrown into chaos. Whether the world wants us to help or not. You will by no means judge a member of society or Team Dimension as vile. You do not know them. They have their side of the story and we have ours. This entire room was once filled with Guardians. Take a look around. See the vacant seats? Next time it will be your seat that is vacant should you fail. We have no tolerance for corruption. Over 85 percent of Team Guardian was removed from their role, and their memories of this organization erased. We are always watching you, and just because we do not mention what you did does not mean we do not know." Renn clapped her hands together, and Gengars appeared behind each of the new members.
"Gengar has the ability to hide perfectly in the shadow of any object, granting it exceptional stealth. However, Gengar's body acts as a heat sink; its presence cools the temperature of the surrounding area by nearly 10°F, because it absorbs the warmth. In addition, Gengar possesses the ability to fly through the air. Just because you can't see us, doesn't mean we aren't there. We. Are. Watching. Got it? Good!" Renn smiled and waved the Gengars off, they chuckled and seemed to disappear again.
"Now, we don't have much time so we are just going to jump right in. The Legendary Pokemon that have once helped us are no longer offering their support. At first we thought it was the corruption we found in the group, but if that were so Arceus would have not spoke to us. The Legendary Pokemon are upset. We have to help them, and fix what is wrong. Have you ever saw a Legendary Pokemon? Anyone who goes it on their own is on a suicide mission. So, Crystal, Selene, Raffaellu, Lee, you may be wondering where you come into play. A Guardian is still human. We are short handed as of now, and so you will be training here. You will be doing research, and taking action."
Renn sighed, getting tired of all this explaining. It was such a drag. "Our job as of now is to help the Legendary Pokemon. However we can't speak to them and no one knows a Pokemon like a Pokemon. Your first mission is to enter The Vault. Once there you will encounter Pokemon Gijinkas. These citizens are half Pokemon, half human. You will be dropped off with nothing but your Pokemon and a few items. You may catch Pokemon here, or in The Vault. Some Gijinkas may be aggressive. You are to learn their history from them, survive there for a week, and recruit Pokemon Gijinkas to help us out. If you do not learn their history will fail. As you recruit them you must not lie. Our offer is this. If they can help us save the world, people may see them in a new glorious light! Not strange! Not monsters! Hopefully they will be freed. However we can not promise them this. We are fighting for their freedom. So if you are against that get up and leave now."
"You're options are, leave now. Your memory will be wiped of the ticket, this island, and so forth. That is all, we will not take all your memory. Your second option is to start your mission now. Your third is to pick a cabin, rest and set out tomorrow. Once you recruit a Gijinka it is your reputability. If they escape it is on you. We are not holding them captive. However if they do escape, the media will get involved. It will shine the light on us and Team Dimension. Thus we can no longer help the Pokemon Gijinkas, and they will be punished, and locked away again--not by us but by the world. Once the world gets involved there is only so much we can do. That is all. Any questions?"
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Selene was scared. She hadn't thought about failure from her training much. Over 85 % of the Guardians were removed from their role and had their minds erased? The girl involuntarily shivered, although the room was pleasantly warm. She didn't like the idea of the Gengars either, but it was necessary. Her sole problem was surviving the training program.
So Gijinkas are real. The thought finally struck her. The stories were true. Though she knew they were locked up in an island, she had no idea what it was called. The Vault sounded like a metal, windowless prison. How bad are the living conditions? Gijinkas are real. The thought swam through her mind, and Selene shook her head, as if she could shake it out. Half human, half Pokemon. Does that mean they can use Pokemon moves?
Selene leaned over to Crystal's seat and whispered, "Hey, Crystal. Sorry for... Not believing you about... Gijinkas. It just didn't really cross my mind... Sorry." She had offended her beliefs, after all, and here was pure proof that Gijinkas really are real, not just a figment of a story. An imaginative story, but just a fantasy. Or so she had thought.
Well, she isn't new to Team Dimension is she? I am going to delete my rule about no OOC posts only, because I have to do it to explain stuff. As long as people don't use it as a chat it will be okay. :>]]

Edited in the last paragraph because I couldn't think of a response when I first wrote this.]]
Lee suppressed a flinch at the mention of Team Galactic. He growled inwardly at himself. Why am I still reacting even at the mention of them? I shouldn't be. I have nothing to do with them. Why can't I just forget?! His father's demeaning laughter rang out in his mind, mocking him, reminding him of more memories that wouldn't go away.
He closed his eyes. This wouldn't do. He had to focus. Coming out of his thoughts, the boy caught the tail end of Renn talking about how a large portion of the Guardians had been removed. Wait, they have the ability to erase memories? he puzzled. How exactly are they ab- His thoughts were interrupted by Gale's startled cry, and his eyes shot open. The Miccino buried his face in his shirt and Lee looked behind him to see what had scared the Pokemon.
Lee's searching gaze was met by the maniacal smile of a Gengar. He started, caught off guard, and the Ghost-type's smile grew even larger. Its' piercing eyes seemed to see straight to his very soul. What's the matter, kid? he could almost hear it taunt. You got something to hide? He looked away, trying to calm his racing heartbeat. A regular Guardian recruit wouldn't be too bothered by the precaution. With how many of their original members they'd kicked out, it made sense.
That was how he tried to make himself appear outwardly, but, beneath the surface, he was filled with twisting anxiety. Why didn't I expect something like this earlier? he scolded himself. They're serious about this. I have to treat it serious, too. I can't take any risks. Like Renn said, I'll never know when they'll be watching.
Lee breathed in and out slowly, willing his reawakened nerves to relax. So, they'd be going out to the Vault then? He... he honestly didn't know what to think of that. It wasn't too out there, being on the island for a whole week. He certainly understood the reasoning behind it. But yet, the unfamiliar aspect of trying to recruit the Gijinkas chipped away at his confidence. He was never one for conversation and much less for convincing others. He'd always kept to himself, content to do things on his own and let everyone else have their own opinions. He tried to think of what he could possibly say, but came up with nothing.
Lee hoped the words he needed would come with time.
She sat back in her seat but her eyes widened a bit when she started talking about gijinka's. No.... I-i don't want to go back. Her eyes had a touch of fear in them but she started thinking about all of the gijinka's she left behind that will get to be out of the Vault. I've lasted there for more than a week before. This shouldn't be too hard right? She snapped out of her daze when Selene spoke to her. She smiled and said, "Don't worry about it. It's not your fault for not believing, I only believed it at first because I was little."
Renn felt her lips twitch up. There was a fresh mix of reactions, and emotions that played today. "Don't worry. The only memory we take is of the ticket, and of course, this island. Now what will it be you four?" She walked off the stage and one of the Gengars appeared by her side. "Those who will, follow me." she called to the new recruits. "I will walk you past your cabins, there you will have a split second to chose a cabin, we do not separate by gender. Drop off your things and bring your Pokemon. I will lead you to The Vault. I will not stop walking so be quick. Those who wish, may stay a day in the cabins for rest. Others who are ready will go with me. If you want to forget about this crazy scheme and head home, keep seated." Thus Renn went down one of the isles.
Raffaellu was not so quick to react. He seemed rather overwhelmed, but without a moments hesitation, he got up and followed Renn when he regained his senses. Kirlia danced with confidence, as she skipped beside him. He was not backing down now. There was no way. There were too many things to be done. Questions how the got rid of memories never slipped his mind. It would be very intimidating course. Though any child who was told the stories knew that The Guardians only arrived when all hope was lost. Beyond society's, the police's, and secret organization's control. If they were going to play the role of someone's last hope, they would have a tough course.
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Selene stood up and stretched her legs. Beethoven seemed jittery and shifted from fit to foot. Selene took one step after another. Each step was bringing her closer to either failure or success. She could only hope that the path she will take will be successful.
Life sometimes doesn't work the way you want it to, though, and that's what Selene is afraid of.
With each step towards Renn, the more it dawned on him. He was in over his head. It was almost not a matter of if he got found out anymore, but when. With the precautions the Guardians were taking, all it would take was the eventual slip-up to send everything crashing down. They probably had other ways of keeping an eye on them besides the Gengars that they kept secret.
Lee took another deep breath. Yes, that was a definite possibility, but he couldn't let it get to him. Panicking would get him nowhere. It was like treading water; flailing around only tires you out. Only with slow, calm, and calculated movements could he keep himself afloat.
Selene shivered as she stepped outside. Not from the cold, as the weather on this island is balmy and tropical. But from the anticipation of what's to come. Choosing a cabin seemed like such a small thing, but it really wasn't. It was choosing to continue on, to settle into this new life. Selene wasn't sure if she liked this feeling. It was a mixture of hope, and was it almost... Dread? She would figure that out soon.
The stream of people didn't walk very long before seeing two cabins in the vicinity. They weren't too close yet to see them in detail, but it was close enough to see that they looked quite cozy. Homely, almost. The word 'home' is unfamiliar to Selene's tongue. She shivered again, this time in anxious worry. What were her parents doing right now? Her little sister? Selene was already missing them. But there is no turning back now...

Five minutes. Ten minutes. Tick, tick, tick. Raven glared at the black clock on the wall. Where was the leader? The co-leader? The other in the room are sensing this absence as well. Some of the amicable chattering dwindled away into low whispers. Fine. They want leadership, they get leadership. the young woman thought to herself as she stood up and pushed her way to the front of the room.
Nobody seemed to notice as she stepped to the front and crossed her arms. The Skarmory on her shoulder grated his wings together in a sharp sound. Some people flinched at the unpleasant sound. Soon, Raven had everyone's attention. The young woman waited for a few more moments before speaking.
"Everybody, listen up. I want NObody to talk. No. One." Silence. Satisfied, Raven continued. "You don't need to know my name. When the leaders come- IF they come- you'll all probably forget about me. But right now, you all need to know me. Because right now, I'm taking charge." No sugarcoating. Raven never sugarcoats things.
"My Pokemon aren't strong. I only have three, and they're level fourteen. But I have a logical mind, and I'm going to use it at the moment. Those with level ten or lower Pokemon, group together in that corner." Raven pointed to the far left corner. "Those with Pokemon level eleven to level twenty, group over there." Raven pointed to the middle of the room. "Once we all get into our groups, we're going to battle. Gain experience. I don't care WHO you battle with, as long as that person is in your group."
"We need to know battle tactics and strategy. Besides, this is also a good way to get to know each other. We need to work together, whether we like it or not. Any complaints? The door's right over there. Team Dimension has no room for whiners."
"Then let's split up."
Everyone seemed to know leadership when they saw it, and they immediately fell apart into two groups. Raven walked to the middle of the room, and tapped a girl about her age on the shoulder. "Now, about a battle?"
He walked up the steps to the porch, and fumbling for the keys in his pocket. When Bell finally grabbed them, he out them in the lock, twisted the key, and opened the door. He stepped inside, took the key, and closed the door, relocking it. Bell saw Raven first. "There you are." He said, looking at his 'teammate'. "Don't we need to go somewhere?" Bell asked Raven, questioning if she knew. "And that darned Herdier of mine is why I'm late."
()Sorry it's short. I'm kind of working on orbs too :P()
Raven smiled at the Skarmory on her shoulder. Starscream immediately hopped onto the ground in front of Raven. The girl across from her took a Pokeball out of her purse. Raven eyed her opponent carefully. She was pretty, with dark brown hair that seemed naturally wavy. Her eyes are grey, and her lips are just the right shade to match her slightly dark skin tone.
The girl clicked the white button on the ball. In a flash of red light, a Pokemon materialized. A Growlithe. The corners of Raven's lips twitched, resembling a small smile. She had almost expected a Zubat, the typical choice of some young trainers. The girl looks determined, with slightly narrowed eyes and a steady breath.
"Starscream, Agility, please." If Skarmories can grin, Starscream was certainly smiling. The Skarmory pumped his wings and lifted from the ground. Then he started moving around the air in a tight, fast circle. Soon, he became a metallic blur in the air, building up speed for fast reactions and attacks.
For all that had chosen to come, they were now back on the ferry. Renn conducted the ferry this time. She was one of the only ones who knew the way to the vault. For percussions she had a Pokemon create an illusion as to what the trainers saw as they sailed. She couldn't let them know the way. Though once they were docked she called the Pokemon to return and walked back in the main room to greet them.
"One more surprise. You will only get to use one Pokemon. Choose wisely. There is machine over there." she pointed to the corner of the room. "You can use it to send your Pokemon back to the lab."
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Selene grinned at Beethoven, her one and only partner Pokemon. "I guess that won't be a problem, huh?" Beethoven clacked his beak. "No, it wouldn't." he responded carefully. "But I wonder if you get to capture Pokemon while you're there." The girl contemplated this question for a moment. "Uhh... I think so. I'll ask to make sure, though." Selene wondered if she should raise her hand to ask, like she was in school, but decided against it.
"Err, excuse me, will we be able to capture Pokemon at the Vault?" she asked tentatively.
((This is a short one, I don't feel creative today.))
Title: Quick Announcement
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
What she failed to mention was that some Pokemon created illusions to make you feel like your device would break through to the outside world. Though once in, you were cut off from everything else.
