Sure his grades were an impartial marker of how good he was but it was really nice to hear it from someone directly.

"You get to say that only because you're good at everything!" Song BingLiu whined, pouting. If dictionaries had images to go with each entry, he was pretty sure that Ldeya's face would be beside "pretty privilege" and "perfect". It was almost unfair how talented one person could be.

He cares a lot about you, that I’m quite certain”

Rui En smiles a little at Trixie’s childish, pouty behavior, finishing up the dessert she had taken “Trixie, did you know snakes lack the component of their brain that enables them to feel love? Or any complex emotion, as a matter of fact”

After listening into so many conversations, Nyx finally can't sit still anymore. She gets up and leaves, the light hum of small arches of electricity forms from between her knives. Every time she takes a step the electricity dances from the metal heel of her shoe to the floor, as if the voltage of the electricity wants her feet to not leave the floor. She goes quietly, not wanting to ruin the feast for the others

Well…I can’t say I know for sure, but if someone were to be an Empath…or something of that sort…if they were in a crowded place constantly, and didn’t know how to tone down the emotions…they’d probably become numb. Unable to differentiate between emotions. You see, both anger and happiness, at its very core basics, are caused by adrenaline. If a person were to, say, become numb, they wouldn’t be able to decipher what they feel, no? Basically, punching someone would give the same rush as hugging.”m

You’re not exactly that kind of person” I teased, sliding over a journal with several complex formulas, handwriting so small you’d probably need a magnifying glass, as well as haphazard scribbles over scribbles, as if one were trying to cram an entire book into a singular page.

"Ah, I really am looking forward to this semester. Even though there isn't much time until we graduate, I still want to learn as much as I can!" It seemed that Song BingLiu was quite fired up, even his scratchy voice unable to hide the enthusiasm and zeal that the prefect had for learning, the only real love that he had.

“I wanted to try powdered Oni horn. I’ve done some research, I’d reckon it would help. Not too sure how it would though. What do you think?”

1. Unicorn Horn (powdered, 500g)
2. Zannie Blood (450ml)
3. Boto Fin (1 fin)
4. Kelpie Skin (shredded, 200g)
5. Ningyo Heart (crushed, 2)
6. Oni Horn (powdered, 300g)”

Apart from those, were a list of other herbs, which reached the floor when unrolled. “I’ll get these myself” Rui En replies. “Anyways, Trix, speaking of those unusual ingredients, how the hell did you manage to get them anyways? I will admit, most of these items are difficult to get. Two of which are even under heavily regulated trading, owing to being protected species or something”
