Upon the dawn of the next day, the City of God had fallen.
Heroes and Villains alike had been felled in combat, and the instigator of it all, Abyss, disappeared without a trace, as did his fellow villains.
The only sign of Abyss' existence was the scorched buildings of the city, a stamped-out cigarette, and the broken whiskey bottle lying in the center of the city, next to a singed, halfway-burnt photo of two villains, in their youth.
They called this day the 'Dawn of The New Era'.
What many try to forget, though was what came soon after.
They called it 'The First Twilight'.
After the great Villain Abyss burnt down the walls and buildings of the City of God, he was shot down by the only person hed ever trusted fully.
After this, all peoples, whether they had been heroes, villains or civilians, lived in harmony for a while, working together to build a better society.
But one incident, involving a robbery, led to another, involving an open brawl between a former hero and a villain, which led to full-out warfare.
Open fights in the streets, buildings destroyed, lives lost.
and in the midst of all of this, the four-man team that brought about all of this was nowhere to be seen.
And their leader couldn't even take responsibility.
But this wasn't the start of the first twilight, no.
Hah, that would be far too easy.
Of course, things settled down after a while, and the City of God prospered, 4 years after its' total destruction by the Strongest Being Alive.
Eventually, the City of God regained contact with the other settlements of the continent.
But the peace didn't last long.
On one fateful morning, the connections to the City of Wisdom, the greatest archive of knowledge in the world, was completely cut off.
Four days later, everyone found out what happened when the remains of an ogre was found near the City of Prosperity.
The great shift in mana caused by the deaths of so many at Abyss' hands had inadvertently caused something that threatened to kill millions more.
The Monster Wave.
The Four Cities
Exerpt from "The Story of the World"
Each of the four cities are able to survive on their own with little to no problem, but each city has one thing they excel at. Indeed, the cities perform the best together.
The City of Prosperity was named such due to it's flourishing agricultural and economic situation, and the fact that superhumans, may they be heroes or villains, tended to have exceptational healing and Elemental(Nature/Water) abilities.
The City of Wisdom is the greatest stronghold of human knowledge in the entire world, yet is the smallest of the four cities, both in size and in population. Most persons with Psychic type abilities originated from this city. (A note from the editor: This City has since fallen, due to the Monster Horde. Most residents of this city have evacuated to the City of Prosperity or the City of God.)
The City of Preservation is... interesting. This city is by far the most militant of the four, having the strongest lineup of heroes and villains originating from this city. While there are no specific types of abilities that mostly come from this area, the City of Preservation is most widely associated with Enchancement and Elemental(Fire/Light/Shadow) type abilities.
The City of God is by far the most diverse city. Nearly double the size of the second largest city, the City of Preservation, and with a populous nearly 6 times that of the City of Preservation,this city has by far the most diversive range of abilities, from elemental abilities to reality bending to telekinesis to everything else. This is where most people from the fallen City of Wisdom went.

Despite being an artificial ability created by the peoples at the City of Knowledge, the Drives are probably some of the most powerful creations to see the light of day. And, the Dictation Drive is the most powerful of them. Classified as a Psychic-class ability, this Drive allows Logic to force a person to do anything within the realm of possibility, just as long as he says the words 'Logic dictates that..." before a command.

Who is Logic really? He's a bit of a mystery. Calculating and logical, with plans for every possible scenario, yet still has times between each perfectly calculated movement to mock his enemies, or poke fun at their deepest, darkest fears.
He belongs to a group known as the Three Monarchs, each with their own Epithet.
The current members are Logic, Madness and Truth.
Abyss was a member of this group, operating under the epithet "Reform"

Standing at 6'4, Logic is easily the tallest member of the Three Monarchs, even when Abyss was still alive. He's thin and lean, with long, azure-colored hair, reaching his shoulders. His eyes are a bright shade of red, and his skin is pale. He wears a neatly ironed business suit and dress shoes, most of the time.

Gaia’s Alchemist
Ice and various prickly vines shoot up from the ground, randomly in a circle around Celine of a radius of two meters. Celine has no control over this power, and her emotions heavily impact her powers, particularly negative ones.
Nyx’s Embrace
Celine can shroud anything in darkness for a period of time, leaving anyone within the darkness completely blind. She can also use the shadows to hide and teleport from place to place.
Hygieia’s Touch
Celine’s healing powers are probably one of her strongest “abilities”, given that she works as a healer. She is able to heal anything from minor abrasions to fatal wounds, but she cannot replace any organs. Naturally, the severity of the wound also determines the amount of energy she has to use up.
Animangenesis
Whilst extremely painful for Celine, she is able to split her soul as many times as she wants to create sentient beings of her own. These beings can take on any shape or form, and can do anything a regular human can. These beings have no superpowers, but their physique is unmatched to other normal humans. The only limitation to how many beings she creates is that she cannot split her “core soul”. She currently has two of these sentient beings. (Will detail more later)

The ability to control and/or generate electromagnetic fields, giving the user control over the electromagnetic spectrum and various magnetic metals.
Electromagnetic Sight: The ability to perceive the surrounding environment as patterns of magnetic and electrical energy. The natural magnetic auras surrounding living beings can also be seen in this way.
Energy Absorption: The ability to absorb different bands of the electromagnetic spectrum via magnetic force to temporarily boost the user’s own strengths.
Geomagnetic Link: Since most users of this power are tied very closely to Earth's EM Field, she is highly sensitive any changes that it might undergo. This link also means that Earth lends her strength by its simple existence, and as a result they are granted an odd sort of immortality.
Magnetic Flight: The ability to fly by either gliding along the planet's natural magnetic lines of force or simply creating a repulsive force between Elucian and the planet.
Magnetic Force-Fields: The ability to erect a powerful force field that can be quickly expanded to protect large areas, or even used to suspend objects in the air.
Magnetic Pulse: The ability to focus magnetic energy into powerful concussive blasts for various purposes.
Metallic Bonding: The power to atomically bond metallic substances to any designated surface material. This technique allows metallic alloys to be blended with the earth, water, and air.
Organic Iron, Cobalt, Nickel Manipulation: The ability to control the traces of the three magnetic elements within organic matter, which allows full control over an opponent's body. This power can manipulate the iron-enriched blood-flow to one's brain to induce aneurysms or unconsciousness, alter thoughts and perceptions, or blank a person's mind completely. It can even remove ferrous compounds from the bloodstream entirely through a person's skin. Very precise branch, needs to be within line of sight, Elucian does not have complete control over it yet.
Superhuman Stamina: By drawing on Earth’s magnetic field, a user can dramatically increase the overall efficiency of her musculature. While enhanced in this way, the muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins than the musculature of a normal human, allowing for far greater endurance during physical activity.
Superhuman Strength: The vast amounts of magnetic energy contained in Earth’s EM field can be channeled through the body for the purpose of granting vast superhuman strength of undefined limits.
Telepathic Resistance: The ability to create powerful electromagnetic shields around the user to block out or dampen attacks or mind probes from telekinetic or telepathic individuals.

Elucian is an honest person, who disregards the need for many relationships. Personality:
There is very little that is known about He Who Blooms Spidering Lilies. He alights upon the battlefield with healing hands and a serene smile, remaining calm and level-headed amidst the blooming chaos. He rarely asks for anything in return, working miracles for both sides before disappearing off towards his next patient. According to those who have had the misfortune of sharing company with the mysterious healer, he is multitalented almost to a fault, with there apparently being nothing he can't do - and even if there was something he couldn't do but wants to do well, he is the kind of person who will work hard until he's good at it.
Despite his eloquence with the spoken word, many have reported that there are some darker aspects of his personality that appear to have been warped by his experiences, occasionally saying shockingly violent or disturbing things entirely nonchalantly, often with the implication that he's either experienced or done said things.

A sentient entity dwells within Seraph, a co-conscious that provides him with knowledge of the living. She guides Her host and gives them knowledge of the world that She has gained from Her long years of existence, acting as a Mother guiding Her child through life, though She is not as benevolent as She may seem and doesn't seem to possess a conventional morality compass. As She is much older and stronger, at times She may take over Her host's consciousness
Room 4S
A pocket space that bends to Seraph's will. What he says goes but the space is quite small, only around 2.5x2.5 m in dimensions, just enough for two people to occupy. How many objects are stored in Room 4S is directly proportional to the amount of extra strain placed upon Seraph's body

Personality: A jittery girl, she is usually fiddling with a deck of cards. She is extremely kind towards others and tries to treat others well- to not hold grudges. Secretly, she is afraid of confrontation, despite having an extremely strong ability. That doesn't mean she won't stand up for herself or others.
Appearance: Revna stands at around an average height of 5'6. She has long white hair that has silver streaks in it, she also has silver eyes- that turn purple upon activation of her ability. She is somewhat thin and has pale skin.
Ability: The power of the odds. Revna is able to harness her ability through a deck of cards. Using it for both offensive and defensive uses. She can make her cards levitate around her as a shield or throw them towards her enemies like painful blades. Her cards are activated through defensive use when an opponent accidentally or purposely hits her cards. She can also activate her ability by manually 'pressing'

-Hearts: Once said to represent the clergy. These cards will test your faith. Summons a powerful necromancer. While the spells aren't anything special- just a simple spell that causes pain. The level of pain increases via card value (ranging from slight discomfort to deep cuts/potential to break bones)
-Spades: Once said to represent the military. This card summons a seasoned knight. Heavily experienced, wearing thick armor that makes his movements slow- but will make him difficult to take down. He carry a heavy claymore blade, that will certainly cut his enemies down in an instant. The only thing holding him back is the draw of the card. (The cards limit his movement from one to ten meters)
-Clubs: Once said to represent the merchants. Keen, sharp, and quick. This merchant will do what she can to take the price that is owed to her. She is equipped with a bow that has a series of different arrows. The higher the card value, the stronger each shot will be. (Ranges from flesh wounds to near fatal wounds)
-Diamonds: Once said to represent the peasants. Despite their representation, they are not weak. Hardships have toughened them. Keen eyes have picked up weaknesses to take down even the mighty groups of above them. A single peasant who has learned the dark arts will be your foe. Like the clergy, they use magic. But rather than attack, they use it to defend the one who promises the downfall of the ranks. (It shields Revna, each card represents how many hits it takes for the shield to break)

-Jack: Master of all. Allows Revna to inherit the ability of whatever suit she has drawn for a limited time- but the strength of her power will be the same as a four card

Skills: She is a powerful fighter. Able to fight short, mid, and long range, depending on the card(s) that are activated. She isn't too great at physical fights and has a huge weakness within her ability
Weaknesses: She isn't a great physical fighter. Also her power, while complicated, has flaws, so long as your character doesn't get too flustered and takes notice to them. It's a long read, but it's explained below :p

Or aim at lower values, knowing she could have the energy to use a high value card when needed
-She can only throw five cards at once and defend herself with five cards

If she already used a face card, she cannot use any card that will combine together to equal ten or more. [So a jack and a six for example]. Again, she will collapse from exhaustion and nothing will summon
