Amber watched in shocked silence and Barley quickly leapt onto the boat eagerly, purring. Ravenpaw followed Barley hesitantly, looking back at his one of his legs before getting onto the boat, Raaja leaping on with a swift leap with her friends. Amber stepped forward, but waited for others to go first as her cats milled around on the boat happily.

Saiko frowned. "That...doesn't look very stable. Are you sure it won't collpse into itself midway? Is the plasma mini sun pow generator properly maintained? Much as i would like to go out in a blaze of glory, it'd probably hurt to be caught in a mini nuclear explosion."

Amber whistled for the cats, but they didn't jump back off the ship. Amber sighed. "Let's just go to the land of the gays. The quicker we get to my island, the less stressed I'll be." Amber said as she got on the ship, ears pressed back with discomfort. Also, turns out, she had a very short tail.

Raaja yawned and stretched, flopping down on Kendo's feet. Barley had seemingly leapt up to be the commander of the boat, fur swept back with a breeze. Ravenpaw explored the lower areas of the boat, while Amber was leaning against a wall while looking out at her island. It was barely visible.

Saiko stepped on the ship, reasoning that this ride was better than nothing. "Well, if this piece of junk metal can hold together, we should get to delphinus without a hitch, not like it's gonna fall off like aetherhaven eh?"

Amber watched Kendo with sad eyes, ears still pressed back. Raaja got up and started to sniff at Theo, specifically his watch. Barley was running around as if he owned the boat, while Ravenpaw had found a hat and put it on his head. It was like a pirate hat.

Theo just watched Raaja curiously. He didn't normally meet other cat people, or just other cats in general, as the only pet he could keep alive was his small dragon.

Talking about the dragon, it was sleeping on Theo's shoulder again. It's very tired.

Delphinus seemed small from that distance, but as the group drew closer, it began to grow, revealing a large island wreathed in pink smoke and purple clouds. The sky had mysteriously darkened, plunging the group into nightime, blinding them completely, with the only thing they could see being the lights of the glowing island and the clock tower in the middle, chiming as they hit the 13th hour.


Yet something wasn't quite right,instead of hours the clock had days and astrology signs, too difficult to read for an inexperienced person. Suddenly a deafening screech coulr be heard, and upon looking up Saiko and the others saw harpies with starry capes and cold beautiful faces. "STOP! YOU HAVE VIOLATED THE AIRSPACE OF DELPHINUS, WHILE IN A HOVERCRAFT REGISTERED AS STOLEN! STATE YOUR BUSINESS AND SURRENDER, OR WE WILL BE FORCED TO SHOOT YOU OUT OF THE SKY!" The harpy made a sharp clicking noise, and two other harpies brought forward a huge canon, intimidating as is, even while ignoring the word "widowmaker" engraved on the side. "YOU HAVE TWO MILLISECONDS, YOUR TIME STARTS...NOW!"

Amber lunged, quick as lightning, and aimed the cannon away with a yowl. Raaja had leapt at the harpies while Ravenpaw and Barley hid, but Amber and Raaja distracted the Harpies while aiming the cannon away into the void below. She hissed into one of the harpies' ear. "Leave this ship alone, and I won't rip your throat out."

The harpies squawked in rage, plucking a walkie talkie from their belt. "INTRUDER ALERT, INTRUDER ALERT, ALL HANDS ON DECK, PROTECT THE ISLAND! HOSTILES ARE ENGAGI-" They were quickly silenced by Saiko with her stun gun, but it was too late. A wave of Harpies rose from the city, speeding for their boat at suPernatural speed. A commander at the front lines stepped forward. "PILA! ARGUM, IGNIS." A line of harpies fell back, drawing bows from Their backs, lighting the arrows they placed in them with fire, before taking aim and firing at the ship. The harpies that were still advancing burst forth, spearing through the air and towards Kendo and the others in a burst of overwhelming numbers.

Amber slipped and fell, barely grabbing the railing of the boat. Raaja fell down into the void below. Amber was a perfect target now. Vulnerable and struggling. She could be picked off now. Her stubby tail barely moved, but her ears twitched wildly. "Help me!"
