Amber had ignored the conversation, finding a way to open the gate. She moved unnaturally fast. And she was a bit slender, too...But she worked on a way to open the get regardless. What was she hiding? After a while she just gave up, standing near a wall, listening to the conversation.

"I hope we don't encounter the worst of them." Amber piped up, looking hopeful as she fiddled with her white bracelet. On closer inspection of the bracelet, it was made of a spider's webs. But Amber went from fiddling with the bracelet to fiddling with her hair, nervously smiling.

Emiru blinked. It would take a while to convince her that she wasn't fond of human flesh.

It wouldn't hurt too much anyway.

She looked back the gate. Inside seemed to be walls of some sort, but she wasn't sure.

Kaori looked at her again, and turned away. They were going to go through the gates, even if they would break down them down. That would be rather pleasurable. But it would cause a bit too much commotion, and some people didn't wake up yet. It would be best to leave them alone while they were sleeping.

Amber faintly started humming while inspecting the gate. She traced her finger along any carving in it, paying more attention to any key holes or areas that you could unlock the gate from. After she inspected as much of the gate as possible, she sighed and began to fiddle with her bracelet again.

If any of you want to live, I suggest you, or we, should the decision be made to stay together, start looking for an exit. And for those distraught souls thinking they're going to be trapped here forever, there has to be a way out. What fun would it be to stay stuck here for all eternity?" All locks could be picked. This one was taking quite a while to figure out though. Last resort would be to just blow it up, she had the bombs ready.

"Well then, you all better step back." Athena pulled out the bomb and faced the east gate, the one closest to her. Flinging it at the gate and then leaping back, the gate shattered with a rumble. Not the most subtle, but the gate was too thick to be cut through, her usual preference.

Turning around and giving a little cheery wave, she disappeared into the pathway.

The thorns pricked her skin, but it did not bother her at all due to her regeneration.

She stepped in the east gate, not knowing what to expect.

Kaori slashed through the gate of the west. Unsheathing her Nichrin sword again, she cut right through the gate, dissecting the top from the bottom, creating a worthy tunnel of her time. Kicking the bottom half inside the passageway, she went down into a crouch, and out of the other side. She then kicked the top half outwards to the main area, if anybody was going to follow. Keeping her Nichirin sword out, she did a 'sweep'. No sign of demons, so far.
