[ Lily of the Valley Island; Sinnoh ]

The Lily of the Valley Conference (also known as the Sinnoh League Championship Competition) is an annual competition that trainers - only after obtaining all eight gym badges - can enter to challenge the Elite Four and Champion. It is held on the Lily of the Valley Island, where all competing trainers are housed in a small village. The competition is to begin in just a few days and unknowingly to them, our friends are about to reunite for the first time in eight years, to go head-to-head, just like they had done back in the day at the Pokémon Trainer School.

[ introduction ]

Kendo Sato is an aspiring trainer from the region of Johto, though he commonly calls himself a Galarian as that is the region he has lived in the longest. He is quite talented at battling, and is knowledgeable on all things Pokemon.

When he was old enough, his father shipped him off to the pokemon trainer school, where he met some truly great friends. His starter was a Grookey he received shortly before getting sent to the trainer school.

Afterwards, he was determined to Become the greatest trainer who ever lived. He would spend hours upon hours simply studying, training and battling. When he reached 12 years of age, he set off to complete the gym challenge of galas. He made it quite far, but lost in the semi-finals of the championship. Since then, he has been attempting the challenge every year. The furthest he got was actually a fight against the champion himself, though he was swiftly defeated.

Currently 19 years of age, he is on a journey to gather all the gym badges of all the regions. He enjoys reading, battling and playing with his pokemon. He is a part-time delivery guy whenever he gets the chance.

Kendo stands at an impressive 6'4, with a thin frame. his skin is tan from years of traveling, and his eyes are a dark shade of brown. His hair is brown, combed carefully and long, tied into a ponytail. A scar runs across the bridge of his nose, where a pair of black-rimmed glasses sit. He usually wears a gray hoodie over a black turtleneck, though if his hoodie is too dirty, he wears a black hooded jacket.

[ personality ]

Kendo's life is one shaped by tragedy. His cheerful persona has been carefully curated to make people laugh, to make them feel comforted and happy. To tell the truth, he puts on a happy persona to hide his apathy. His trauma makes him bottle up his emotions so he doesn't bother anyone. He tries his best to be helpful, to be wanted. To others, he seems cheerful, a trickster. He's been described, amongst other things, as "Drunk on life"

[ introduction ]

Clover's true birth region is unknown. Even her real name is unknown. She was just found by some workers at the Aether foundation and they took care of her until she could be sent to the Pokemon Trainer School. Though her time at the Trainer School was rocky, she graduated just fine, but still no answers to where she came from, or where her real parents even are.

After graduating, Clover returned to Alola and decided to become a photographer, documenting the beauty of Alola's pokemon and their hidden talents. Photography was something she loved, just by looking from a different angle can really change the feeling one may feel when lookin at the photo. She even published a book called 'the beauty of Alola' which became a hit in other regions. However she still hasn't found the answer to her question, who her real parents are.

Now 19, Clover took interest in the Lily of the Valley Conference. Coming back to Sinnoh she acquired the needed eight badges, and now hopes to make an even bigger name for herself to find out who her real parents are.

[ appearance ]

Clover is a tall women with ocean blue eyes and long wavy blonde hair often tied into a long French braid.

Being from Alola, Clover's main outfit consists of a pink short sleeved t-shirt with floral patterns, white shorts, and sneakers. Around her neck is a small blue camera she uses to take photos and across her shoulder is a messenger bag she uses to store her things.

Occasionally Clover wears a grey beanie with rabbit ears over her normal outfit.

[ personality ]

Clover values freedom over anything else. She's carefree, and like a leaf blowing in the wind, let her heart and desires guide her journey. Nature changes over time, which is why Clover isn't someone who plans everything out months ahead. Things could change. Because of this, Clover is used to the unexpected and can quickly turn the tide of the battle with a quick on the spot tactic.

Despite her quick thinking to not let change stop her, Clover is troubled by the unanswered questions in her life. Just where did she come from? Why did her original parents abandon her? Where are they now?

Kaori was adopted in a small orphanage in the Galar Region. Soon after she was adopted at the age of 10, her adoptive parents took her to a Professor, who gave her the choice of her partner Pokemon. Happily choosing her partner to be an adorable Sprigatito. She started training daily, at least 7 hours a day with Tulip, and loved it to bits. She then started battling, proving the worth of training a total of 49 hours a week. Moving her way up into higher ranks in battling, she gained many more Pokemon from gifts and 'catching sprees'. Training a total of 7.5 hours each day with all her Pokemon, she is always happy to battle with anybody who challenges her, at the age of 18. Hoping to challenge the Elite 4, she traveled to Sinnoh, and gathered all 8 gym badges.
She enjoys spending time with her Pokemon, reading, and competing in ribbon dancing competitions.

[ appearance ]

Kaori is only 5'4, making her a little short. She is skinny, and has a distant look in her large purple eyes. People often mistake this to her not paying attention, but it's just the way her eyes are. She is normally found with a pink, baggy sweatshirt that says 'FLOWER POWER' and black jeans. Her jeans have flower stitch designs, and have the 'fancy hole-thing' on her right knee. She has a Black Cat headband, which pushes some of her long, straight, black hair away from her face. Her messy black bangs brushes right above her eyes, and she tries to pin them back unsuccessfully. She has white sneakers with pink and purple swirls, and she tries to keep them white. She has a thin necklace of a heart around her neck, and she treasures it greatly.

Kaori is very sweet, even if a little shy. She is soft-spoken, and can be a little gullible. She likes to please people the best way she could, and says 'Yes' a lot, even if it is hard to understand with her mumbling. But while battling, she is confident in herself and speaks clearly, seeming like the confident person she isn't. Sometimes, she seems a little scared, without hope, but her necklace is a reminder that she must never give up hope and faith in herself (the true reason for the necklace).

Wyatt was born in the Johto region where he spent most of his time training his team and exploring anything it had to offer, he had also beat the Kanto and Johto league, just hasn't gotten to the point of joining them, he's currently working on Hoenn's gyms, currently at 5 badges right now. He worked on bonding and perfecting his team so that he can battle without a problem. His age is, 19. He tends to hang out with his pokemon, create new battle strategies, explore new areas, and train his team, he hopes to be part of a league in any region, but he wants to be in the Johto four the most.

[ appearance ]

Grey Hair, Red eyes, white skin, skinny, 5,6 so he's just below average height. His main outfit consists of white and red jacket with black sleeves, a grey shirt, black pants, white boots, and a grey duffel bag for storage. He wears a heavy black coat, white cargo pants, a beanie, full grey gloves, and his usual bag for his cold outift. Tends to wear black gym shorts with a singular white stripe on each side, white t-shirt, with some brown sandals, and as always has his usual bag with him for his warm weather outfit.

Nicer kind of attitude and doesn't get mad easily. Very good at battle strategies, helping others out with mistakes, and tends to outplay others in most of his battles. Not as good while under pressure in the middle of a battle, will get very nervous if he thinks he messed something up, and tends to second guess himself under pressure sometimes

Born in the Alola Region, Malachi is mainly known for having a team comprised of 4 Alola Pokemon and 2 Kanto Pokemon. He loves sports, as well as drawing and literature. Malachi dreams to one day become one of the greatest Alolan Trainers. In his spare time, he likes to stroll through the park of his hometown, watching all of the wild Alolan Pokemon frolic in the grass.

Malachi is a white male with messy black hair that he never combs. He wears a sleeveless white T-Shirt with a bright yellow lightning bolt on the front of it, and brown shorts. Born into a high class family Galarian family, Elliot never really questioned what his family's prestigious battling history entailed. Sent to trainer school in order to study its long history of pokemon battling and capturing, Elliot excelled in his studies and dominated in the battles he partook in at an early age. He didn't care for socializing, only ever focusing on his studies and spending all of his free time in the library. His only company was ever books and his pokemon until one day another student who had no care for his family name or reputation barreled into his life. He became his closest confident, the first real person who was willing to call him out on his asshole nature and self-absorbed tendencies. His ideals and assumptions that he had lived on for his entire life were shaken as the two bickered and annoyed each other, his worldview slowly shifting with every debate they got into. Arguing and clashing through ideals and brains instead of Pokemon wasn't something that Elliot was used to. Combat through words seemed to be the only way to get through to him as Elliot began to re-evaluate how he himself saw the world, pulling back the curtains that his parents had drawn tight around his eyes.

By the time they graduated, wherever Elliot's name was spoken, Leo's was not far behind. Elliot and Leo, a duo of high achievers and so very different from when they entered the academy. Ignoring his family's summons, Elliot settled down in Sinnoh with Leo, taking on a different last name legally and taking on all the gyms. Before facing Volkner, he took up a normal job as a librarian in Sunnyshore and just... never finished the gyms. Living eight years relatively peacefully and without his family hounding after him, Elliot became just another face watching trainers come in an out challenging the local gym.

[ appearance ]

Elliot has a youthful face with fair skin from perpetually locking himself in the library and reading as much as he can, blending with his pale blond hair and light eyes. He burns really easily and so wears long layers, coats making up a large portion of his wardrobe. He isn't very tall, his face quite boyish for his age and it is a source of his explosive temper. His attire is formal and stiff, especially when attending social events. When he's alone though, he loves to wear warm and comfortable clothing. Something thats perfect for curling up by the fire and reading a good book or a day spent inside with the people he wants

[ personality ]

Elliot is proud, hot-headed, outspoken but compassionate and has a gentle nature even if he hides it under hundreds of layers of formality. He presents himself as prim and proper, the proper gentleman that is ready to act at a moments notice, all in an facade to keep his face as someone who once belonged to a house of high standing. His knowledge of battling is extensive and exhaustive but he doesn't like to battle, instead content with just living out a simple life. He is dedicated to his values but when confronted with an experience that challenges his prior knowledge, he is open-minded enough to reassess what he has learnt. Those who earn his companionship are his friends for life, loyal to the end. He is selfless and understands the sacrifices that he needs to make to ensure the safety of others, but he will always hold one person above anyone else.

I have a question:

Are Paldea starters allowed? Because my form is basing on a Paldea starter, but if that's not allowed, I have a backup. Are they allowed (mainly Sprigatito)?

Paldea 'mons are allowed; I just haven't played Scarlet/Violet to understand the whole Tera-types/Terastallizing thing -

And, by that, I'm assuming that Terastallizing isn't essential for Paldea 'mons to work(?)

so how terrastalizing works is that it essentially overrides the typing of your pokemon to give them another type, which gives them both the offensive and defensive benefits of that type, along with keeping your original type's resistances and stab.

if you terrastalize into one of your original types, all your moves of that type get a 1.5x damage multiplier.
