No response.

No movement, no indication, no noise, nothing. Mei did not respond at all to Cath.

She just wanted to go home and sleep at this point, even though she would just be chased by demons like last time. She didn't want to go to a Resistance base either, it sounded dumb and boring. Besides, they might get the wrong idea about who she was and attack her. Well... they wouldn't be completely in the wrong, but still... Ah, if only she had a home to return to. And if only she wouldn't be chased by those guys... This could aaaall be avoided, Mei could just have had a good night's sleep, not having a single care in the world for any of the humans unfortunate enough to be alive.

Mei was just exhausted, she didn't want to talk anymore, she didn't want to travel, and she especially didn't want to be awake for all of this fun. It was bad enough that she had gotten herself into this situation, and now she had somehow gotten emotional? If all of these problems were someone else's, Mei would just mock them relentlessly and move on. But this was her. She couldn't just move on, she had to deal with it and hoped it didn't kill her. God... So annoying...

Guess Hell really did a number on her, didn't it? Maybe she should just kill them all... Her problems would go away then, right? No one to care about, no one to think about. She could continue on her merry way and not have to hold the weight of her consequences. There would be no one to hold her accountable, no one to scold her, no one to stop her. It would be so much easier, honestly...
