The Final Kingdom (RP)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → The Final Kingdom (RP)Enzo kept muttering "I get it,I get it." when she picked up what the Leader was implying. "If it goes badly,no matter how prepared we are, when we get in,we will be surrounded and they will probably be outnumbering us." she said as she used the most advanced vocabulary in her arsenal. "You better make this clock spell thingy work. The hell do clocks have to do with breakin' in?" she added, whispering the last part at Hadeed.
... her gaze went to Clef then instead, somehow not changing a single muscle in her face before she closes her eyes. "... answer this truthfully. If I declined that offer, would you still leave with just the other knight in hand and leave me behind?" Her voice, the tone, the attitude... it changed. From a gentle and royal knight... to that of a fearsome and merciless commander.
Tipping on their toes as they listened to Riesbyfe explain the trip awaiting them, they nod with a sense of certainty. What he is saying is true, after all. The castle would be all good without them for a few seconds, minutes, hours—and truth be told, it'd really soothe Clef's worries. Like they'd ever say that out loud, though.
Although just as quickly as the great atmosphere appeared, the mood shifted, sending sweat down Clef's spine as Amalie turns to look at them. Almost bending backwards to stay away from her while still standing in their spot, they realize there's nothing else they can do but respond.
“Nah, that'd be rude,” they fidget with their hair. “Wouldn't it?”
"I suppose I am, yeah. I've done it so many times that it just kind of feels like a routine at this point." The Queen shrugs, continuing to pet Benny. After a few seconds, she stands up straight, brushing off her jumpsuit. "Hey, do you want me to make that for you? You know it's always better when Mom does it." She smiles.
Noah continues to think about the ceremony. He wonders if he could add any fun to it, as it is a pretty boring event. Other than the knight and page assignments, of course. As he thinks about it, he carefully walks into the event hall. He takes in the familiar sight, and continues to walk forward. He sits down in a seat in the front row, directly in front of the lectern in the middle of the stage.
Ava looked at Heart and flung an arm around her. "Buddy, pal, my sibling ever..." They started "I have... a thing. That I must tend to, you see, it is so very important." They let go of Heart to instead raise their arm in a dramatic gesture, as if they were about to faint. "I can not bear to wait any longer. It is a need." They turned back to looking at her, waiting for a response.
Heart simply sighed, again, and gave Ava a pat on the shoulder. "I understand. I will help retrieve the food for the others." She smiled at them, despite all her anger, and noticed Ava reply with a grin. "I suppose I could grab something from the kitchen, if I am quiet enough..." Heart isn't the biggest fan of stealing things- not because she thinks theft from the royals is wrong, but because they aren't quite fond of being caught. Or just the possibility of being caught. She usually leaves it to Ava, who somehow manages to get out of trouble nonetheless, but now is a dire situation apparently. She can try for their sake. "You are to accompany me, right...?" She tilted her head to the side.
Ava headed back out after confirming that Cerys Has Totes Got This, very confident in that their job here is done. For now, at least. So their mind was set on just one agenda: Noah. So. The usual. They ran multiple places he could be in through their head, so, like, anywhere, really. They peeked around multiple rooms, invoking a couple of surprised yells (oops), until they finally reached the event hall. Ah. Of course.
Their field of vision immediately blocked everything else out as they walked and waved enthusiastically towards Noah. "HELLO!! Haiiii..." They smiled.
hadeed part goes here . in the morning inshallah xoxo
Enzo kept nodding at each and every point the leader emphasised. "No objections here. After we 'storm the stage'..." she quoted the leader. "...what'd we do then? Ask for food and money?" she leaned in,curiously expecting an answer. Even though she did agree to a non-violent approach, that wouldn't make them any better than beggars even though they have some sort of weapons at their disposal.
[felt like bumping this lol]
Noah turns and sees Ava. He waves back. "Hi." He stands up and looks around to see if anyone would notice if he snuck away. Nobody. He carefully walks over to the entrance of the dining hall. "Come on, I want to show you something." A smile creeps onto his face.
The Wasteland Leader carefully taps her fingers on the table. "Well, I presume we would convey our message to the kingdom and show that their leader haven't been quite honest with them. As much as it could help, I would prefer if we stayed away from making any large demands and simply show them that we aren't bad people." She leans back and continues to think about the rest of the plans.
Enzo audibly sighed, squirming against the wall before walking closer to the table and placing her elbow on Hadeed's shoulder to stand comfortably. "...And if they don't listen? It's our skin we're puttin' on the line here. Leavin' after making ourselves known ain't gonna be as easy as breakin' in." She didn't want to be that person, the one to be leery and almost cross the line during these meetings but Enzo can't just stay idle when the Leader is being that optimistic regarding the enemies.
