Jess stiffened at the constant barking of orders continuing to what
she was told, she was going to have to be careful with her words if
she didn't want to be growled at. Continuing with orders her
lucario stared out into the ocean the beautiful sapphire liquid
shimmering in the sun's glow.
After viewing the information from the book, Zoe realized that she
must rejoin the crew members outside of the ship but first Zoe
placed the book back on the shelf and headed outside, "I guess it
might be time to set sail, isn't it Captain?", Zoe asked with
curiousity and then she told her Horsea named Sapphire, "This is it
Sapphire, the adventure is really about to begin".
*Once the sidesail unhooked, Rei pulled it open and tied the rope
to the steering wheel. Finally, Rei let out a sigh of relief and
prepared to yell* All ha-! *Zoe interrupted Rei, causing Rei to
give her an annoyed look and finish her sentence* All hands prepare
to set sail!
From where she was up on the rigging tying together and putting
ropes out of the way, Howl swung down from one of the main sails to
land on the deck with a small stumble, wrapping the rope around the
mast in order to keep it out of the way. "Where to chart course
for, Captn'?" He asked, giving Zoe a slight side eye but staying
more focused on the task at hand. While she wasn't the main
navigator, her inability to actually read barring her from that,
she certainly knew her way around the sea, a skill that had landed
her a place on Rei's ship. So he just did whatever he could on the
ship, mostly helping navigate and do menial chores
Zoe's face turned shock, "Oops! I guess I should focus on the
adventure", Zoe said to herself, she soon headed up the stairs to
see the front view of the ship, as it was the start of the day and
with the sun shining so bright like a Solrock Zoe knew that crew
members are here to do everything they can to make the captain
pleased, very soon Zoe started back down the steps and grabbed the
telescope that was on the ground, as Zoe approached to the captain
she took a deep breath and soon came to the captain and said,
"Here's a telescope Captain, and also here's a piece of paper that
fell out from the book, do you want to read it later on?", Zoe
asked.
Glimmers throws Rei a almost lazy salute, and waltzes over to Howl,
the Milotic following, towering over her somewhat petite frame. She
waves a piece of paper in front of him. “You know what’s going on
and how the Kabutops roll. What do you need done?” Her face remains
blank, and she seems almost bored. They had taken a long time to
set sail. She’d seen others do it faster, despite giving no
comment. She didn’t really know why it took such a long time.
As the ship set sail, Quincey puts away her notebook and looks
around. This was such an amateurish, unplanned, terribly scheduled
trip, with a crew unlikely to have even made it this far, and they
only just took off, and yet, she knew that despite all odds, this
may be the best crew she could have gotten put with. Pokemon-wise,
they were really good both offensively and defensively, and the
trainers had their own skills that could prove useful. "Could have
gone worse," Quincey sighs, falling into a deep sleep.
Out of the corner of her eye, Howl could see someone approaching
and scowled slightly. She didn't really like people coming up to
her, the whole social interaction thing feeling pretty... overrated
if that's even the right word to use. He just didn't like to
interact with others, especially newcomers. When the red-head waved
a piece of paper in front of his face though, he did recoil and
scowl slightly before taking the sheet, no matter how reluctantly
he did so.
Assuming it was a map of some sort, Howl flipped the paper this way
and that, trying to decipher the lines scrawled over it though it
only succeeded in wetting the paper with wet hands and running the
ink into an event more indecipherable mess. The scrawls didn't look
like any map she was familiar with and handed the soaked paper back
with a shrug. "Sorry missy, that don't look like no place I know."
He said almost apologetic but not really. She wasn't interested in
talking, she just wanted to go back to her maps and into the ocean
Glimmer lets out a noise akin to tinkling wind chimes. “Sorry
sailor. Didn’t know you couldn’t read.” She replies, voice devoid
of cruelness. Although she had been rather blunt with her
observations, she didn’t want to make Howl think she was trying to
offend. Glimmer glances at Quincey, who was fast asleep, and huffs
a little, before ‘boarding’ the Milotic. “Call me if you need me.
My name’s Linh” she tells Howl. Glimmer then coaxes Julia to jump
into the water to swim, diving to check if there was anything
unusual underwater. She might as well be useful, and report any
possible damages to Rei. Without much persuasion, the duo jump into
the water with a graceful splash and disappear below water.
*Rei heard Howls request as she began to move the wheel to her left
and responded in a grunt as moving the wheel took some effort* We
are heading south towards Pellipers Gulf- *Rei continued moving the
wheel but saw Zoe and let out a grunt of annoyance. When hearing
Zoe's question, she let out another geunt in response* Thats not
mine, kid- head below and let the adults handle this for now- *Rei
had finally turned the wheel enough to where it became easy to move
the ship, and within a few minutes they had left the shipping area
and were out on the open ocean. Waves battered the body of the ship
as they sailed along but were easily split by the ships bow. The
sea waters mist slowly began to drench Rei's hair, and she felt
like she was back home. Back to the place she belonged*

As the day begins to progress, Zoe nodded her head as she sees the
view, the Swellow flying high in the sky along with the Fearow,
"The view is so majestic", Zoe smiled. Then Zoe headed down the
steps and she sees the crew members working hard and some relaxing,
"I got to work hard just like those crew members", soon the sun
shone brightly and Zoe is now hoping for the best in the
adventures, Sapphire used her Bubble move to make the crew members
happy and excited.
Jess felt a slight humidity in the air that was beginning to frizz
her hair, with her eyes covered she brushed it out of the way and
continued working, the fresh smell of the ocean hung in the air,
filling her lungs. The majestic lucario continued looking out into
the open with a mystical look.
Zoe continued to see the beautiful view as it became mid-morning,
try as she might Zoe looked very hard to see if there's something
amazing but Zoe was surprised to find a compass in hoping to know
where the ship is going, "I must believe in the captain, I think
the captain is doing a great job figuring out where the ship is
going", Zoe said. Then she took a minor fall but soon got back up
and headed up to the look out view.
"Speaking of," Quincey says, having woken up from her nap, "where
are we going?" Dartrix flies down and perches on the side of the
boat. "Never really caught that when I took the job, probably a
dumb thing on my part." She laughs.
After a long swim, Glimmer hops out of the water, shaking all the
salty seawater everywhere near her. She heads to the lower deck and
comes back out after a while, dressed in a corset, a long skirt,
and a vest. She had ditched some of her clothes from that morning,
seeing as they were now soaking wet. “We’re headed to Pellipers
Gulf.” She told Quincey. Julia lets out an impatient snort. She
wanted attention. Glimmer sighs, and pats the Milotic, giving Julia
a treat to pacify her
Finally having time alone he stopped playing the role of Vinny.
Leaning against Elijah he sighed and closed his eyes, "What have I
gotten myself into buddy? Working with pirates of all people."
His Samurott nudged against his side and he smiled softly, "Thanks
pal. I am glad you are still here. Otherwise I'd have long sense
gone insane."
While Howl knew of Pelliper Island, it wasn't a place she
frequented very much for various reasons. That wasn't much of a
bother as Minsoo curled around his legs with a slow purr. Reaching
down to gently brush a hand through his fins and check for any
parasites that were common in the sea. Stepping onto the bow,
balancing on the nose as he surveyed the sea. Howl's manner of
navigation was unconventional at best, using the sea that she knew
so well to direct the ship, but at least it worked. And if both his
and Vaporeon's observations were right, they were on track to
getting to the island. Perched on the bow, Howl kept an eye on the
only home she had ever known, the small ache in his heart quelling
at the rocking waves and endless horizon
As the day progressed, Zoe was on the lookout for any water Pokemon
that could come while her Horsea Sapphire was on the lookout as
well, "So far, I don't see any water Pokemon that could cause some
trouble", Zoe said. Zoe climbed down the lookout post along with
her Horsea, then she sees the beautiful Seaking splashing down Zoe
felt calm and relaxed, then she hear Howl saying "Pelipper Island",
Zoe got confused but then she said, "I never heard of Pelipper
Island but I just hope the treasure will be there, anything can
happen", Zoe said.
Jess headed onto the main deck and put her arms on the rails
resting her head on them, staring into the shimmering saphire seas
she closed her eyes beginning to drift off, quickly startled by her
lucario listening in on the others. "Pelliper Island, huh?" she
sighed, she snickered at Zoe's child-like enthusiasm, quickly
cutting herself off she said, "Welp, maybe there is some,
somewhere."
"Yeah, I heard there was a gold Pelliper statue somewhere on the
island." She shrugs. "Or at least, that's what I heard." She
truthfully hadn't. But she wanted to get some sort of motivation
out there. Looking around, many of the crew seemed to be doing
fine, but that wasn't going to last. Quincey herself was already
beginning to feel a little seasick, and Arceus only knew how long
they'd be till they got there.
